When my son first started at Little Adventurers I was a little worried about the turn over of staff and the small amount of communication from management regarding this but since the manager has started running the nursery my Son has thrived
The re vamp is fantastic and looks like a new building inside
with some brilliant additions for the children to enjoy. The manager communicates well with parents and is happy to help with any queries. Would now recommend to friends. Well done for turning everything around

My daughter has been going to little adventures since October 2024 starting 10months old and is in the tiny travellers room. She is absolutely thriving there, me and her dad are still amazed at the things she's learned from going there. The staff are so amazing, she gets so excited about go to nursery
in the mornings. I don't even get a wave goodbye as she feels just as comfortable there as if it were home and the bonds she has created with the staff are so sweet. I've had no issue with the nursery since my daughter has been there.
Reply from Rosie Boorman, Head of Sales and Marketing at Little Adventures Nursery Victoria ParkThank you for your lovely 5-star review of Little Adventures Nursery Victoria Park. We are deeply disappointed by the sudden termination of our children's places at Little Adventurers Victoria Park, following a complaint about a biting incident. We were given no warning, no proper explanation, and no evidence to support vague accusations of a "breach of terms" and "staff abuse." Access
to the nursery app - where our children's reports were stored - was revoked immediately. We later found out multiple families were also terminated the same day, suggesting this was not an isolated decision. After being locked out, a message from the CEO was posted accusing a "small number" of parents of harassment, without giving us a chance to respond. This experience has raised serious concerns about how parent feedback is handled and how families are treated when they speak up. We are sharing this publicly in the hope that it leads to accountability, transparency, and better treatment of others going forward.
Reply from Rosie Boorman, Head of Sales and Marketing at Little Adventures Nursery Victoria ParkAt Little Adventures Nursery Victoria Park, we strive to maintain a respectful, inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff. We understand how distressing it can be when a place at nursery is withdrawn, and we never take such decisions lightly. While we are unable to discuss individual circumstances in a public forum due to our safeguarding and confidentiality responsibilities, we remain committed to treating all families with fairness. We understand your concerns around communication and the impact this has had. Since then, the new manager has been making continuous improvements to the setting, and we are pleased to see the nursery moving from strength to strength.

Due to unknown reasons the CEO decided to terminate 10 families contracts. With NO EVIDENCE!. No warnings, no meetings. According to the CEO we all broke the contact by bully, harassment, aggressive behavior and more. 10 families! Once the CEO was questioned by multiple parents there was still no evidence
or reason given. The ratio of staff to kids is not right. The ofsted report isn't great and yet the CEO thinks it's great and everything is ok. He is slandering us over the communication app. We also have no had any formal way of termination just a message on the app. The same message copy and pasted to every parent. We are not allowed to retrieve any work made or any photos etc. the staff in the room are over worked and taken for fools. Handover is terrible can take sometimes up to half hour to get into the nursery, no communication from management, no accurate feedback on food and drink. No water bottles allowed they must use a cup and ask for a drink. Which is not good for Sen kids.
Reply from Rosie Boorman, Head of Sales and Marketing at Little Adventures Nursery Victoria ParkThank you for taking the time to share your feedback. When my son first started (when it opened late 2022) we couldn't have asked for more. Lovely staff, good ratios, attentive care. Unfortunately, the provision has undergone multiple staff changes (6/7 managers, along with floor staff) since it opened. The floor staff have remained amazing, but just don't
have the support from higher management. More recently, a lot of staff have been let go for speaking up and raising concerns, largely about the safeguarding and care. The CEO has no childcare qualifications and does not care about the children or staff. Multiple staff members have left for the sake of their own mental health. More recently, we received a message from the CEO over the nursery app to state that my children's placements were being terminated immediately, with no explanation or evidence provided, to as what I was accused of. No further communication from the CEO or head office.
The recent OFSTED inspection says it all. Please avoid registering your little loves here.

My child was terminated from this nursery due to a group of parents trying to voice their concerns regarding the care provided to our children.
CEO sent messages informing us of their decision to terminate my child's place on Friday 1st April, and then removed our access to the app over the weekend
so he wouldn't be subjected to the raft of people trying to find out why!
Been going to this nursery for just over 2 years, and they have robbed my child of the last term of his early education before going off to school.. arguably some of the most important education time for him to have!
Its a shame really, because when we first started it seemed really good. Everything has just gone downhill from there. Unable to keep a manager for more than 6 months. Poor organisation. Completing building work whilst remaining fully open, as in they were skinning the walls with the kids running around the rooms!

We're genuinely sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with how your child's time at Little Adventures Nursery Victoria Park came to an end.We understand how important the early years are for every child and how upsetting it must be to leave a setting that has been part of your family's routine for over two years. Any decisions made regarding a child's place are considered in line with our safeguarding responsibilities and organisational policies. We acknowledge your concerns, and we remain focused on ensuring the nursery continues to provide a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for all children.

I previously reviewed this Nursery a couple of years ago when my Son first started however things have changed rapidly at the setting. Since the setting first opened they have had 6/7 different managers. Staff turnaround is ridiculous when staff resigning/being let go on a constant basis. During the
latest transition to the new manager, upon drop off one day I noticed the preschool was out of ratio. 1 staff member to over 15 kids. When questioned I was told the other staff member at gone to the office. I knocked on the office door and was told they didn't realise and thought there was another member of staff their. A few weeks later I finally managed to speak to the new manager about this and some other concerns in a brief 5 minute chat which ended on a very friendly and positive note. A couple of weeks later and I out of the blue receive a message of termination from the Director on the App used by the Nursey. No right to Appeal. No further response or clarification from headoffice.

My little one has been attending this nursery since September 2024. We have nothing but positives to say about his time there. Staff are very attentive and friendly, I receive regular updates via the app and phone calls where needed. The staff at Little Adventures (Victoria Park) have supported my little
one with settling in from day one and he is now thriving and enjoying his time there. On pick-ups, staff are always positive and informative and my little one leaves smiling. Would recommend it to any parents looking for a nursery in central Bridgwater.

My daughter started back in September 2024 when she was 1y 4m old. She was a little nervous at first as most children are. But I have watched her grow in confidence since starting nursery. She is learning so many new things and surprises me some days with things I didn't know she knew. The staff have
been fantastic with her. And I love getting the updates via the app. I feel very confident about my daughter being there.

My two youngest children have been attending here since September 2024 and it has been nothing short of fantastic. The communication is the best I have known in a nursery setting with everything you would wish to know conveniently added to a personalised app each day so you know exactly how their day
has been, what they have eaten etc. The setting is immaculately clean and the facilities are of a very high standard. My children are very happy here and you can see that all of the staff genuinely enjoy their work and have a keen interest in your child's development. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

Our son has been enjoying his time at nursery since 2024, he does lots of things there and loves playing with his friends and the staff. Very clean, welcoming and friendly staff. Any issues that I have had, they deal with this straight away and always get back to me. I work in Weston Super Mare and
sometimes driving back to Bridgwater can be very busy, but when calling ahead to let them know if I'm running late, they are happy to stay on that little bit longer as traffic can't be helped. It's great to see on the app how my son is getting on at nursery, what he is doing and any words he is trying to say, it's also great to see what he has eaten during the day. Staff and management are all very professional in their roll, friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you everyone, keep up with the amazing work you do.

The staff are absolutely lovely, the app is updated regularly. I've seen a huge change in my child since they started there and it's amazing seeing the amount of growth and confidence they have gained. The staff often communicate with us, making sure our child is okay if our child is off ill or if there
are any incidents in the nursery we're made aware as soon as they can let us know.

My daughter has been in the Victoria Park Nursery since June 2024, in the baby's room. She has excelled whilst attending the nursery.
Being our first child we were nervous to send our daughter into nursery, but the team at the nursery kept us regularly updated via the nursery app, with photos and messages.
The
team really engage with us at drop off and pick up, allowing me to have a better understanding on what has happened that day, any interesting things that our daughter has learnt etc.
Being a first-time parent I didn't understand that my daughter would be following a curriculum, but the team discussed this with me to allow me to get a better understanding.
The team go above and beyond to support us as a family, I couldn't rate them any higher than full marks!

My little one has recently joined Little Adventures Nursery Victoria Park and he now loves going every day. The staff are all so welcoming and approachable and I can see on a daily basis how hard they work to care for and support my son. He always talks about all the exciting adventures he has there
and all the things he is being taught. He already knows all the staff by name and talks to me about what he learns from all of them. A wonderful place where everyone comes together to care for, support and nurture little adventurers.

My 2-year-old started in January 2023 and has only evolved since then, and goes 3 mornings a week (hoping to extend into full days when she's three in July)
She has a speech delay which the staff know and are working with her on and implement so many great ideas and techniques with her, she loves seeing
the staff there (who could blame her, they are top-notch)
Really feel the care and warmth there, if there had been any issues addressed before, they have listened and followed through on. My little one regularly asks for friends (in sign language) so she must love being there. The staff always welcome us with a smile and loves seeing the kiddos.
A highlight of my day is waiting for the pictures to come onto the app and seeing what my kiddo has been up to. She has been to three nurseries overall, and would never think about swapping for another, she loves it here.

I was incredibly anxious about her starting and I needn’t have been. All the staff are very welcoming and I felt at ease immediately seeing how the staff interact with the children. We love all the updates throughout the
day on the app. My daughter goes to another nursery one day a week and she says that her “Bridgwater School” is her favourite.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 75 number of registered child places is 15, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Angelene Mccormack

Job Title: Head of Audits and Training Joined: 2022

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid. My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
