Superb team with excellent commitment. They wipe her tears, they smile with her, she learns so much from them, they keep her safe while we are busy in working stations. She grows up with them. A great big thanks to the whole team for your enormous dedication.
My girl seems to like it. We have never had problems with the school. Very responsible staff, fun activities for the kids, good food selections (maybe not many vegetables, we eat lots of vegetables at home so a bit less in nursery is okay for me). Good communication, we see daily updates almost every day. Wish the outdoor area could involve more nature stuff and activities, like growing plants, having some chickens and ducks, keeping worms, fish etc.
It is such a homely, caring and welcoming nursery, which I know my son appreciates. With an emphasis on independence, Grimsbury Manor really fits the environment I want my son to develop and learn in.
I highly recommend this nursery.
Our son started at the nursery in September, having moved from a different local nursery, I was concerned that the move would be unsettling for him but that was not the case at all.
The environment is beautiful but still child-friendly with a wide range of toys and different activities set up every day.
The staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. They really listen to any thoughts we might have about our son's interests and next steps for his development and give us ideas on how we can work on this at home also. Highly recommend.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent. My little girl has settled in so well here, thanks to the amazing staff. With my elder son, I had changed three nurseries and I can confidently say Grimsbury Manor Nursery School ticks all the boxes which any outstanding nursery would do. Food is made fresh every day on site, ample free parking, a beautiful big building, a big garden, face detection cameras at the entry, clean rooms with age-appropriate toys and dedicated and trained staff, what else does a parent need for the child? Above all, they have a parent room too if they want a tea or coffee or a few minutes of relaxation. If you want a nursery for your little one, go for Grimsbury. It's the best.
They've settled in brilliantly and the staff have been so attentive to their individual needs. The nursery itself is beautiful, so clean and has fantastic resources.
Communication between the nursery and parents has also been great and I've been so happy with my decision to send them to Grimsbury Manor.
The admin and communication side of things are fantastic - I never have to chase anything and communication is prompt, forthcoming and clear.
What is most important for me, above all this, is that my son is happy. He absolutely loves it and has settled in beautifully (and quickly). The staff are all caring and nurturing and there is an incredibly warm atmosphere.
I am thoroughly happy that I chose Grimsbury Manor for my son.
Handovers are really good, with a lot of information provided. I am put at ease knowing my son is so well looked after. After just a few weeks I am confident that the staff knows my son and his needs so well
The nursery is newly renovated so everything is brand new and the place looks really nice, always clean and tidy. The kids also have lots of different toys to play with.
I also really like the app and daily photos, they brighten up my day.
Always been available to answer questions and concerns (if any), always keeping us updated with the online portal which is very user-friendly.
They always go above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough for making us feel so welcome and at ease with the transition from another nursery to Grimsbury Manor.
I could not recommend the staff and nursery enough - thank you.
The building is lovely, newly renovated so nice and fresh, a lovely neutral pallet and garden space with balance beams, a wooden boat and trays with lots more!
It is so good to know I am leaving her in a setting that nurtures her personality and cares for her so well.

Meet the Team (1)
Alyson has been working with children for roughly 15 years, starting her career in North London at a small private company. It was there that Alyson developed and grew as a practitioner, working her way up to Nursery Manager. In 2019, Alyson became pregnant and decided she wanted to leave the city to start her family in the countryside. After taking some time out of work, she was ready to get back to it! Alyson has been working at Grimsbury Manor since springtime 2023, and loves the grandness of the building - it reminds her of Malory Towers! Alyson and her team pride themselves on getting to know the families and children and making sure they build strong, trusting, and lasting relationships.
