They are excited to be launching a brand new, purpose-built nursery school 5 minutes from Romford Town Centre. The special blend of individualised learning and purposeful play is integral to the nursery setting which provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years old.

At The Learning Tree Nursery School, the team have created calm, carefully curated spaces which allow children to use their imagination without distractions. And everywhere possible they use beautiful natural materials and dedicated time in the outdoor play space to connect children with the environmental values at the heart of all they do.

The Learning Tree Nursery is fantastic! Staff are all so lovely and welcoming and my daughter has settled in really well and I believe that is down to the staff who show so much care for the children. The building and rooms are very spacious and open - there is so much space for the children to move
around and play in which is excellent. I also really enjoy the updates given throughout the day on the app - really makes a difference having an online tool to communicate/receive updates. Overall, I am so glad to have chosen this nursery for my daughter to attend. I have no worries when she is there and I know that she is taken good care of! Thank you Learning Tree and a special shoutout to the staff in the Willow room!

A very beautiful nursery! The staff are very warm and friendly, and my son feels at home here! I feel like they take on board parent feedback and apply it very well. The app used to communicate my child's daily diary and daily pictures of him participating in activities are brilliant!

My son has been at The Learning Tree for 20 months now, and we can’t recommend it enough.
The staff ensure there is a variety of activities to keep the children busy and educational at the same time. Very informative with daily updates and photos/vids sent regularly during the day and a daily diary
of what he has eaten at the end of each day. The premises are also very clean, and the staff at reception are always helpful with any queries and welcoming.
He loves it there and has developed very quickly thanks to the help of the team at The Learning Tree.

My daughter started nursery in January. The nursery has been all-round amazing, welcoming and friendly. All staff give a warm welcome and always take the time that you need. The care for children is exceptional. I was really nervous sending my child to nursery as she is my first and we spent a lot of
time together from birth and before I returned to work.
I'm so pleased I chose the Learning Tree - I know my daughter is in a safe environment, cared for well, and they have her best interests at heart - she is learning all the time she is there. She has come along so well since joining the nursery. I could not have asked for more.

I have nothing but good things to say about the nursery - my daughter loves it, and I feel happy that I can leave her there knowing that she is well taken care of.
The staff are so caring and really do their best to excel the children. My daughter has really coped well at nursery, and this is all

My daughter started her nursery journey as a shy but independent child. She was always confident at home but cautious around people she didn't know. Since joining The Learning Tree, she has become a confident social butterfly at the nursery who has formed friendship groups and has even made two best
friends.
The staff have helped nurture her growth and development and helped her overcome some of her fears. She has learnt new skills and has also advanced some of the skills she already had.
The staff are all amazing and friendly and always nice to talk to.
The activities they do are endless, and she always has so much fun while learning new things. The overall experience has been great, and I definitely recommend sending your child here if you want them to be happy while growing and learning new things.

My child started here in February, and I have nothing but great things to say. The nursery has such a great vibe about it, and the staff are very friendly, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. My child has settled in very well, and I love that I can see what she has been getting up to
in the day when I get photos sent through, of course, when I got my first Mother’s Day card, it was so special! Thanks for all you do!

Great nursery. We chose this nursery as it’s between us ( the parents) and the nanny of our child so easy enough for with to pick up if we are not able to get there in time.
Staff are very kind and friendly. Our child is speaking more and picking up words and phrases so much quicker now. During the
day our child has a routine/structure while at nursery.
He loves it here, he has no problem walking in (getting his morning daily apple).
He loves being outside, so the fact they have an outside area and go out of the nursery sometimes for days. He really enjoys it.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

The learning tree is a wonderful nursery. Each day we walk through the doors, we are greeted warmly and with a smile. As working parents, it makes a great difference every day. The nursery is quite clean with a Scandi-style aesthetic. The rooms are spacious and warm.
Our son really seems to be enjoying
his time there and it is lovely to see how he is progressing. We are kept abreast of his day on the app and love seeing his photos as he goes on about his day. All the staff members are quite caring and attentive towards our son.
We could not have asked for anything better. Highly recommended.

As a first-time parent, I can definitely relate to the apprehension of sending my daughter to nursery. We hadn’t spent much time apart since her birth, so it was a big step. However, I’m incredibly pleased with my decision to choose The Learning Tree. The staff at The Learning Tree are exceptional.
They are welcoming, patient, and gentle with the children. The rooms are fully equipped and kept clean, and it seems like the children engage in something new every day. While the outdoor area is a bit small, they make up for it by taking the kids to the park or out for walks. Overall, I’m satisfied with the level of care my daughter receives. Her development has truly blossomed since joining the nursery

Our little girl started at the nursery in November 2023 and is in the baby room (Willow). Since she started everyone has been so welcoming and made her settling-in period so smooth. She seems so happy there and has really developed. We love getting updates and seeing what activities/games she's engaging
with and her daily diary. The nursery is very diverse and welcoming of different cultures and we love that they celebrate this with different activities throughout the month to showcase everyone's differences. Leaving your child with a daycare provider feels really daunting at first but we really feel like she's in the best hands, being really well cared for and that she is thriving in the environment.

We've recently moved home and had to move our little one to a new nursery. The team at the Learning Tree have given us so much support throughout the process and have gone above and beyond to ensure that our little one settles quickly. We're given ongoing updates and pictures of their activities, little
ones are encouraged to explore new interests. We're constantly pleasantly surprised to see the new things our little one learns. And the setting itself is very modern, newly built and set up to give little ones independence as soon as they are ready.

I have seen my daughter's social skills improve drastically since attending the nursery. She used to be stuck to me all the time while out and about and strangers would just have to look at her and she would burst out crying. I thought the transition would be really hard on both of us. But she settled
in so well within few weeks of attending the nursery, credit to the willow room staff who are very caring and attentive. I love seeing the photos of how her day is going and the staff fill you in on how she did at pick up. I particularly love how spacious, light and airy the nursery looks and feels. I highly recommend it.

My son has attended this nursery since I went back to work in March 2023, when I viewed the nursery I knew I wanted my son to attend here as they had so many different things for the kids to do and plenty of space for them to explore. We looked at many nurseries in the Romford area and this was my favourite by far. The nursery environment is very welcoming and it's a joy to enter. The reception staff are always very friendly and helpful. My daughter has been attending for 4 months and I am extremely pleased with the communication,

I can’t recommend this nursery enough.
My son has been attending The Learning Tree since March 2023 and he is now 19 months. After a few settling sessions and some tears, to be expected after spending 14 months solidly with me, he settled so well and started exploring the Willow Room, making friends
and learning lots. The room is bright and airy, with so many different activities for them to explore.
The Willow Room staff are attentive, and caring and want the best for your children. The developmental leaps I’ve seen in my son since joining are incredible. He has learned to communicate with some words and actions, he is up on his feet walking and is such a happy and cheeky character. The staff give picture updates throughout the day so you can see what your child has been doing and seeing happy makes me feel at ease.
If you are in the area and looking for somewhere for your child to go, do not miss out on viewing!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

I have 19 years of experience in early years education, having started my career as an apprentice and gained experience across a wide range of nurseries. I’ve worked closely with children throughout my career, and those experiences have shaped my path to becoming a Nursery Manager.


I’ve always loved supporting children as they grow and develop - from taking their very first steps to confidently holding conversations - and I value building strong, trusting relationships with families along the way. Supporting those bonds between children, parents, and educators is something I truly cherish.


At The Learning Tree, we’re proud of our modern, purpose-built nursery and the thoughtfully designed learning environment we’ve created. Our spaces encourage curiosity and sociability, while also offering quiet, reflective areas where children can feel secure and settled. This thoughtful approach continues outdoors, with an engaging outdoor space that encourages children to move freely between indoor and outdoor play, supporting exploration in both environments.
