View Full Details of The Learning Tree Nursery SchoolMy daughter has been going to The Learning Tree since May and has been loving her time at the setting so much. She has built a strong bond with her teachers as they have all been so open and welcoming to her. The nursery share a lovely set of pictures throughout the day of an activity they have gotten up to which is lovely to see - I do think it would be great to see more pictures of the activities and tasks they do to get a stronger understanding of their learning and progression. But the tasks shared are all engaging as the littles ones always look happy and involved. I would 100% recommend this setting. As a first time mom who was anxious about the whole Nursery process the staff always keep us well informed of needed information and are always on hand to answer any questions. The way my little girl has settled in so effortlessly and has created great bonds with her direct teachers and other staff in the nursery is a great testament to how nurturing the setting and staff are.
Lovely atmosphere at this nursery and the staff in the baby room are lovely. Managers are warm and approachable. My son has made so much progress with his eating, mobility and problem solving skills. He loves going to nursery and is always happy to go in. I love the updates of food and pictures of the activities he does throughout the day. It really makes my day to see how happy he is. There's a wide variety of food on offer which he eats all of, which is great. There does seem to be new faces every so often and they don't all seem as personable as the main staff. There's not always full updates of all of my son's meals and pictures on these days so I'm not sure these staff do as much as the main ones. This is particularly the case on Fridays I've noticed. I've also had a few discrepancies with fees and how they're calculated which have been a little inconsistent. The invoices can be difficult to understand and how discounts are applied so I think this is an area for development.
My daughter began at nine months and is currently thirteen months old. Her general development has benefited greatly from learning trees. Significant changes in her social and physical behavior have been seen. It's wonderful to view the nursery's wide variety of activities through the nursery app. My daughter has really enjoyed her food choices, which have encouraged her to try new things. Learning Tree has made me feel more at ease as a first-time mother.
A welcome environment where my little one is happy. The nursery have good impact on her development and she is very excited to see her friends every morning. The team is open to all feedback and do their best to fit all the requests.
Our daughter absolutely love the nursery and the staff. She's been attending since July 2024 and has developed so well since. Great activities, daily garden time and some outdoor walks too. The food seems very lovely and varied allowing children to taste different cuisines. Would absolutely recommend!
I'm mostly satisfied with the nursery. I really like that they organize many interesting activities for the children and that the teachers make an effort to help them develop their skills. You can tell they truly care about the kids' progress, and the children enjoy going there.
My Son is attending The learning Tree nursery he has settled in really well staff are amazing and activities are great, really clean and tidy nursery It took us a long time to find a nursery and we have definitely found the right nursery good space great team
My little one started at The Learning Tree in August and I was worried he'd never settle. It's taken a couple of months and my little one is enjoying time at nursery; learnt a lot since starting such as independent feeding and puzzle solving skills. Definitely a lot less tears at drop-offs offs and it's all thanks to the lovely people in the Willow room.
Would definitely recommend this nursery which my daughter attends. She has been here for about 7 months now, and she loves it. She is making so much progress whilst being here with making lots of friends and her confidence every day just continues to grow. Updates throughout the day of what my daughter has been up to or what she's eating etc. The staff are so lovely and friendly, the manager and office manager also. Defo a place to choose!
My daughter has been only going for a couple months now, but she absolutely loves it. Comes home so excited to tell us all about her day. There are so many facilities for all the children, staff are so loving and kind.
My daughter joined the baby room earlier this year and I've seen huge progress in her mobility, speech and general independence. She engages well with the other babies and toddlers and is thriving. The key workers in the willow room are all personable and affectionate and appear to really bond with all the children and my daughter, in the short time I observe their interactions, appears to engage with them all equally. There is however, frequently different team members and so it's difficult to know who is actually her key worker. When one team member is updated, she is typically not there the next day, or isn't a point of direct contact, and so there isn't a smooth transfer of shared knowledge. I'd like to see more warm food offered during tea time and more variety, other than crackers. Overall, the staff have been amazing and positively encouraging with my daughter.
I've seen many nurseries and this is the best in the area. It's purpose-built, so the actual space is open and built with the different age groups in mind. The only downside is the garden is small, but not a dealbreaker for us as our daughter goes part-time and is out and about a lot at other times. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and it's clear the place is run by a proper management team, who understand the needs of the kids and the parents. I love that you can pick up and drop off in your kids' classroom for example. Our daughter had been looked after at home before coming here at age 3 and the transition has been very smooth. Two months in, we're really pleased with our choice. Our son went elsewhere and whilst it was a safe, suitable environment, the updates were sparse and we were not allowed inside for most of the time (well after lockdown ended) which made it feel very secretive - it's completely different at The Learning Tree. We'd recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I are very happy our son is at The Learning Tree. Great staff all around and our son is learning lots and making new friends! We thoroughly recommend the nursery and in particular everyone in the Willow Room.
My child is really happy here and has settled in really quickly. I love the updates I get throughout the day which put my mind at ease. I can also understand how she has eaten and slept throughout the day, and what to expect when I collect her. My child seems to be learning lots and enjoying her time spent at the nursery. The facilities are great and so are all the extra touches which make it feel extra special. The staff in the willow room have been absolutely fantastic and all management are really friendly.
We're thrilled with our daughter's progress at Learning Tree Nursery, where not only the education but also the exquisite interior design contributes to a stimulating and welcoming environment. The vibrant, thoughtfully designed spaces encourage creativity and exploration. With safety and openness prioritised, and classrooms personalised with children’s art, the nursery clearly understands the positive impact of the environment on development. This beautiful, functional setting is why we’re so pleased with our daughter’s development, making Learning Tree Nursery an exceptional choice for any family.
My son has been going to The Learning Tree since March 2023 and our experience could not be more positive. We viewed a lot of nurseries but as soon as we had viewed The Learning Tree we knew we had found the one for us. The cleanliness, the space, the brightness, and how welcoming the staff and the whole environment was made us feel so at ease. He is now in the toddler room and we are so pleased with his progress. He absolutely loves the staff in the acorn room and we see this regularly with the updates on the app throughout the day. All in all, I could not be happier with The Learning Tree and picking the nursery was one of the best decisions we have made.
Overall good experience with the nursery. However, the garden is small and for children that age there should be room to play and run outside in open space. Not fully aware of the learning process, my feeling is that our child was making a good progress at the beginning, not anymore, as I said not sure what else could be done - more individual approach needed probably. My biggest concern is the food, which I believe is totally inappropriate for babies and toddlers, although there is always a choice of 4/5 menu sets, communicated in advance - well done to the manager - all of them are 3-4 days pasta, noodles, spaghetti, lasagne, very high in carbohydrates and not healthy. Afternoon snack is mostly bread sticks. Considering the fee, I believe there should be a better choice, freshly cooked meals, puddings, soups, pies, cakes, etc.
The Learning Tree Nursery is fantastic! Staff are all so lovely and welcoming and my daughter has settled in really well and I believe that is down to the staff who show so much care for the children. The building and rooms are very spacious and open - there is so much space for the children to move around and play in which is excellent. I also really enjoy the updates given throughout the day on the app - really makes a difference having an online tool to communicate/receive updates. Overall, I am so glad to have chosen this nursery for my daughter to attend. I have no worries when she is there and I know that she is taken good care of! Thank you Learning Tree and a special shoutout to the staff in the Willow room!
A very beautiful nursery! The staff are very warm and friendly, and my son feels at home here! I feel like they take on board parent feedback and apply it very well. The app used to communicate my child's daily diary and daily pictures of him participating in activities are brilliant!
My son has been at The Learning Tree for 20 months now, and we can’t recommend it enough. The staff ensure there is a variety of activities to keep the children busy and educational at the same time. Very informative with daily updates and photos/vids sent regularly during the day and a daily diary of what he has eaten at the end of each day. The premises are also very clean, and the staff at reception are always helpful with any queries and welcoming. He loves it there and has developed very quickly thanks to the help of the team at The Learning Tree.
