Located beside the multi-award winning indoor play group Space Adventurers, the attached day nursery, Little Adventures Nursery Taunton, has the best of both worlds - an intimate nursery setting with exclusive use of one of the South West's largest and highest rated indoor play settings at certain times of the day.

But they're not all about the indoor aspects, they also have a large purpose-built outdoor area comprising of a magnetic water wall, pirate ship, beach house, planting area, den-making area, reading corner and many more facilities.

They're relentless about their focus on 'learning in disguise' too and use a dedicated app to feedback to parents and carers on the progress of their child and the activities they are doing so that the nursery can be well aligned with the home environment.

I can’t recommend Little Adventures Nursery highly enough!
My little one joined when they first opened and she absolutely loves going there. All the staff helped my little one to settle in, it seemed a very smooth transition with their help.
They’ve got a lovely garden where they spend a lot of
time, the nursery is always very clean and the staff is always helpful and smiling. They’ve got an app when they post photos and activities during the day and I am more relaxed to see my little one happy and enjoying herself. They’ve also done developmental level on the app with everything my daughter achieved.
I am really happy that my daughter goes to this nursery.

My child has just started at Little Adventures. This is the first time they have gone to nursery or been with anyone apart from family. We are so pleased we picked this nursey. He has settled much quicker than I expected him to. He has the best time there. The staff are all so welcoming and approachable.
The setting and facilities are all fantastic and very clean. Also having access to the soft play is an absolute bonus for my soft play loving child. Their communication is spot on, the app used to update parents is very easy to navigate which is great as it means I am easily updated throughout the day about my child.

My two children went to the holiday clubs twice during the Easter holidays. All I can say is it was fantastic. My two children have additional needs and apart from school or family members looking after them, they are never away from me. This is a first and I was put at ease and my two loved it so much.
Thank you so much to the team for allowing my two to have some freedom and independence away from their mum. I will definitely be paying for them to come again.

My little boy recently started Little Adventurers in Taunton, and absolutely loves it! I was worried about the transition but he has settled in so well. The staff are all brilliant with him and he enjoys the varied activities and garden space. They keep great communication and provide regular updates
as well as ensuring he has his health needs met appropriately!

My daughter started this nursery when it first opened, all the staff have been great at settling her in. They are all gentle but hold boundaries so that she feels secure and she often talks about the staff and children when we’re at home. She also loves that she gets to use the soft play on a regular
basis. Staff also update the app on a daily basis with what the children have been learning through their play.

Job Title: Head of Audits and Training Joined: 2022

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms.


For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.


My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
