Located beside the multi-award winning indoor play group Space Adventurers, the attached day nursery, Little Adventures Nursery Taunton, has the best of both worlds - an intimate nursery setting with exclusive use of one of the South West's largest and highest rated indoor play settings at certain times of the day.

But they're not all about the indoor aspects, they also have a large purpose-built outdoor area comprising of a magnetic water wall, pirate ship, beach house, planting area, den-making area, reading corner and many more facilities.

They're relentless about their focus on 'learning in disguise' too and use a dedicated app to feedback to parents and carers on the progress of their child and the activities they are doing so that the nursery can be well aligned with the home environment.

Absolutely delightful nursery!
My daughter has been attending since she was just 9 months old, and she absolutely loves it. The staff are exceptional-knowledgeable and nurturing-creating strong bonds with the children. They have expertly supported her through the transitions between age-segregated
rooms; she's now in the 2-3 age group, and I can genuinely say this nursery has had an incredibly positive impact on her development.
They serve nutritious meals three times a day, all prepared by their talented in-house chef. The communication is excellent, with updates on the family app that include details about my child's bathroom/nappy changes, meal times, sleep schedules, and a daily summary of her activities.
After the setting experiencing significant changes and improvement this year, I cannot emphasise enough how highly I recommend this nursery!

Best decision we've made-such a wonderful nursery!
My son joined the nursery when he was just 9 months old. It was quite hard for me to leave him because of his age, but the staff reassured me and gave me confidence that he would be fine.
Now, at 19 months, he is confident, chatty, curious, and loves
exploring and learning new things. We've seen so much progress in every aspect of his development! He always looks forward to going to nursery and even claps his hands with excitement as soon as he sees the building.
I couldn't be more thankful to his key worker and all the staff, especially Georgie, Anita, Evi, Sam, and Michelle. Everyone is so professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They really focus on the children's emotional needs and show such love and passion in what they do.
Thank you all so much for everything you've contributed to my son's growth and development that would last a lifetime!

Horrible staff turnover. The room darkness is inappropriate for those children who are not asleep and want to play. It is quite scary actually. My child often does not recognise the staff and his key workers due to major changes within the team.

I just have to thank Little Adventures Nursery Taunton and the staff, for all the care and attention they give my son and me. The entire staff is attentive and patient, not to mention the food served, which my son simply loves. The nursery structure is also very good, full of useful toys and instruments

We've had a great experience at Little Adventures Nursery Taunton - our little boy took a long time to settle and found nursery difficult to begin with. The staff went above and beyond to make him and us comfortable and were so patient with him. He absolutely loves nursery now and when we pull into

Little Adventures in Taunton has been wonderful for my son. He has developed a strong bond with the staff and really enjoys the variety of activities they offer. They are helping him develop and learn so many new things. He's been trying new foods that he loves and is always so happy when he comes home.

I had prior experience of this nursery as my niece used to attend holiday club. The staff always appeared friendly and professional. My other niece then joined the nursery from a previous one and I am pleased that this experience has confirmed my previous view. My niece loves her time at the nursery,

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for almost one year now, ever since she was 9 months old. The staff at this nursery are absolutely amazing, they always go the extra mile for her and all the children there. They are very caring and considerate and make every effort to aid with child development,

Little Adventures Nursery was a fantastic find! It's hard leaving your child in someone else's care every day but she is learning more at the nursery than I could teach her and she loves going there.
We love the daily updates, photos and monthly reports! It's great to see the kids having fun and enjoying
different activities.
When it comes to collection, the staff are always happy and enthusiastic and take the time to chat and update you on how the day went.

Since my daughter started nursery in October 2023, she is continuously learning new things. She has built fantastic relationships with the staff team and will fondly talk about her nursery day. The communication on the app is fantastic with daily updates such as meals, toileting and what they have been
doing whilst also making it easy to contact staff or management. The manager is very friendly and approachable yet professional and there is always any opportunity to speak to her when needed. The nursery has recently had an extension for a larger room area and also the garden refurbished and a new office area. The company always seem to be striving to improve whether it’s the nursery environment or a new curriculum that has been put in place and value parent feedback with regular opportunities for this. We love the nursery and learning opportunities they provide for our daughter and are so pleased we chose Little Adventures.

My son has attended the nursery for the last 4 months and he has settled in well over this time. The team of staff are lovely and this was the main reason that I chose this nursery for him. They don’t have the easiest of jobs by any means yet are still so passionate, enthusiastic and caring. I feel
more relaxed as a parent knowing that my son is in safe hands by people who care. I also like that the nursery is of a smaller scale too as the staff know all of the children including the management. They're not just a number.

My daughter and I had a big separation issue on both parts due to my son dying before her but since starting at Little Adventures Nursery, they came up with a plan that would enable myself and my daughter to feel as comfortable as possible, they kept me up to date via the family app, when she had her
bottom changed, when she drank milk, what she ate and when she slept.
They sent me updates and photos throughout the day which helped my anxieties.
It really is a home from home environment, all of the practitioners are wonderful and approachable.
I really like the diversity that the team offer.
They have a chef there and everything is homemade which is so lovely.
The management are always out on the floor and available to chat.

My daughter loves the staff and always gets updates on my phone on how she’s doing during the day and she’s progressed so much from being in there as a little person to where she is now. I can’t thank enough the staff who has helped her achieve so much. It breaks my heart to say goodbye but don’t worry

Fantastic nursery, team, and management and best of all you got soft play next door and whenever I pick her up from nursery she’s smiling at me so it just shows that she has had a lovely day. They are completely understanding of the nursery, our little one will be back one day we think to this nursery!

Our two young children started at this nursery last month, just after it opened. We have been so impressed by how all the staff have helped them both settle in. They both seem to love it already. The facilities are modern and there is a lovely range of toys and activities in each room.
The small number
of children in each room is a real bonus, it gives more 1:1 time for each child and you can see each staff member knows all the children individually which is lovely.
The large, private garden area is looking great and there is plenty for the children to do inside and out.
The use of the Famly app is great, it’s lovely to see photos, videos and updates of what they are getting up to every day.
The staff have been really accommodating with booking some extra days at short notice for us when we needed it too. We would highly recommend it.

The Little Adventures Nursey has been overall amazing. My little boy has never been away from either myself or his nanny but from the settling in session to his official first day they have all been so supporting and have made the whole process enjoyable and reassured me at all times.

Job Title: Head of Audits and Training Joined: 2022

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms.


For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.


My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
