Farley, Sparsholt Outdoor Nursery School

What a wonderful experience my son has each time he arrives at the gate of Farley Nursery School! Dinosaurs trapped in the ice, a rope walk through the woods and a wonderful time making mud pies in the outdoor kitchen, and that’s just your average Monday! The team put so much effort into activities and fun, learning and encouraging all aspects of being outdoors! They are simply amazing at what they do and I couldn’t think of anywhere better for my son to grow and learn.

When we were choosing nurseries before my son turned 1, we visited Farley Nursery School at Sparsholt and left knowing there was only one place we were going to send him and that was there.

2 years on and my son loves going every day. “I’m so excited” are the words uttered each morning before he goes. The staff make you feel like part of the family, nothing is ever too much trouble to help with the learning and development of the children.

The outdoor learning experience at Farley Nursery School - Sparsholt, is second to none with the encouragement to learn, grow, gain confidence and exploration skills that you would struggle to find anywhere else.

Farley Nursery School at Sparsholt is simply outstanding. Both my children have been deeply cared for and nurtured throughout their time at the nursery. The staff are incredible, the children’s experience cannot be matched and it truly feels like we are part of the Farley family. I will be forever grateful for the early years care provided to my children, I couldn’t think of a better place for them to spend these crucial years.

Both of my children have been or are currently attending Farley Nursery School at Sparsholt, and absolutely love it there. The nursery has helped them both to become robust and adventurous with a love of being outside. The staff are fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Farley Nursery School in Sparsholt - I can’t speak highly enough about the team and the ethos of this amazing nursery. My oldest son thrived in the nurturing environment provided by the excellent staff at Farley - and my youngest son who still attends, runs through the gate into every nursery session and skips out full of smiles. Every single member of the Farley team is first-rate - knowledgable and caring. The setup of the nursery is extraordinary, giving children a ‘countryside’ experience in a safe, secure space.

As soon as we stepped through the gate at Farley Nursery School, Sparsholt, we knew it was the nursery for us. It was Halloween and we were greeted with happy, laughing children who were being led down to the field for circle time around the campfire.

Our now three year old has been at Farley Nursery School since he was six months old and he has loved every minute and thrived. We love how all of the staff know us and our little boy, he knows and likes all of them and is so confident around them. They have worked with us through sleep regressions, weaning and now toilet training.

We are completely sold on the outdoor learning philosophy, it builds resilience, creates confidence and encourages exploration. The staff come up with some lovely and creative ways to find gentle learning opportunities in play. I also love how the children are encouraged to help grow and pick fruit and vegetables - it's idyllic.

There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!

Farley Nursery School, Sparsholt is fantastic! I have been a parent at the nursery for 8 years and during this time my three children have benefited from the unique outdoor learning experience and outstanding care delivered by the Farley Nursery School team. The warm, nurturing environment and tireless enthusiasm of staff have provided simply the very best early childhood experiences.
