Farley, Sparsholt Outdoor Nursery School

Both of our children attend Farley, Sparsholt and absolutely love it. We moved them from another nursery at the end of last year and haven't looked back. The staff are exceptional - caring, engaging and enthusiastic. The outdoor learning environment is fantastic and the opportunities and activities available are just brilliant! Could not be happier that our children go here.

Both of our sons have luckily attended Farley over the years and our youngest is now in his last year within the Top Conker Room having worked his way up through all 3 Yurts. The team Farley are exceptional in all they do. They always do the best for the children and both children and staff are always happy and always beaming a smile no matter what the British weather throws. The team have really supported us and been really flexible in everything that they do. The staff, who are all fabulous Farley family helped developed our boys into confident, independent, caring young individuals with great friends which is an absolute joy to watch. If I could sum up Farley and what they do in one world it would be exceptional. Well done all involved. We are so grateful to each and everyone involved. And the Cheese and Wine parent's evenings are great fun too.

Farley Sparsholt is the perfect nursery for our energy-filled, inquisitive nearly 2 year old. Starting forest nursery at 11months old, before he could walk, was questioned by some friends, but the staff made him so welcome from the word go and activities are always age/ ability appropriate. From the start he has gone in in the morning happily, he now trots in and barely looks back and when I collect him after a full day at 6pm he wants to keep on playing. Staff always have a smile on their face and it's unusual to hear or see kids upset when you enter the yard at the end of the day. No matter the weather, they seem to have a great time and have the ability to spend plenty of time outside whilst never getting too cold. I am amazed on a regular basis by the creative things they get upto. I feel so lucky that we managed to get a space there, what a way to start out as a child! I often wish I could stay and play as opposed to heading off to work!

I am so glad we chose Farley, we have never looked back!

Farley nursery has a wonderful caring staff that genuinely seems to enjoy looking after the children and creating fun and stimulating learning environments. They take the time to get to know your child as an individual and you always feel like they are in safe hands. They've really helped my boy to eat more adventurously and the pack mentality helps! Keep up the good work.

5 star nursery! My son attends 4 days a week, and loves 'Farley days'. He is always greeted with a jolly, bubbly welcome at the gates and is always happy to go in, skipping in with a smile on his face. I hear about all sorts of exciting activities, games and fun they have throughout the day at pick up, where staff give a happy and thorough overview of the day. Pictures are updated to EY log and Instagram regularly so we get to see snippets of their day too. He has made some great friends and is thriving in the wonderful, engaging and nurturing environment they provide. The 'mum guilt' of work is alleviated knowing he has such great fun days in such good care. The stacks of muddy washing speak volumes for the amount of outdoor fun that is had!

The team at Sparsholt are fantastic and offer a great care to my son. The activities they do and the fun they evoke are absolutely first class. The food provided give lady great variety and has helped expand the food that our son now eats

One of the best decisions we have made for our son is to have him attend Farley Sparsholt Nursery. He absolutely loves his days there, filled with exploring, outdoor play and lots of learning. The team are the absolute best; smiley, positive, flexible and so engaging with the children. Thank you for looking after our soon so well!

We have been with Farley Nursery at Sparsholt for 4 years and in that time have had the most wonderful experience. The staff are so dedicated and caring and fully embrace the outdoor learning mentality (they deserve 10 stars!!). Our children love attending and we love seeing them thrive in the setting. Some of the highlights are the nativity in the barn and sports day, but the day to day activities and experiences are also so valuable and we are lucky that our children have had the chance of such a special start to their education. The addition of cooked meals has just topped the already great experience.

A fantastic nursery where my daughter has been supported and guided by the wonderful staff. Farley at Sparsholt was always where we wanted our daughter to go, as her cousin had previously attended. In particular, their care of the children, and staff, throughout the Covid pandemic has been exceptional. My daughter has made wonderful friends, is independent, kind and caring. It’s a joy to drop her to Farley, knowing she is so well cared for whilst I am at work.

The handovers are detailed, and they make time to tell you about any special moments that happened in their day, and you feel like the key workers really enjoy their job and have such special bonds with all of the kids.

A really fantastic nursery, fostering a sense of adventure and independence within a caring and nurturing outdoors environment. Highly qualified staff who really know and care about the children within a unique environment.

Our son has attended since he was just over one, he is now in Top Conker and will start school this year. When we first visited Farley Nursery School, Sparsholt, we knew this was the right nursery for our son and haven't looked back. Outdoor focused, fun, lively and engaging for the kids. I know when I drive off to work he has an action-packed day ahead, with carefully considered activities and learning opportunities. The staff are relaxed and approachable yet responsive. As someone who works in the NHS service where I know the importance of early years for child development and emotional wellbeing, I have always felt confident Farley Nursery contributes to creating a great start in life!

We have sent all of our 3 children to Farley Nursery School for their nursery years and it was the best decision we ever made, the staff are friendly, warm and fun and the setting is amazing. I’m so glad that my kids got to benefit from the outside space, the fresh air and the freedom that being a Farley Nursery School kid gave/gives them. Not to mention the visits to the farm, the home-cooked food, campfires, climbing, messy play, French lessons, dancing, theme days, I could go on and on. The nursery feels like family now and I don’t know how I’m going to cope when my youngest stops going!

After moving from London, and visiting the nursery, we decided to fully embrace being closer to the countryside and sent all three of our children to Farley Nursery School.

It really is a wonderful place, with fantastic and caring staff and constant opportunities to explore, learn and play in a magical setting. The adventures to be had at Farley Nursery are countless and it becomes like family, to both the children and parents.

It truly is a special place and we feel incredibly lucky to have found it.

We utterly adore Farley Nursery School in Sparsholt as do both our boys. It is the perfect set-up for a nursery and the outdoor learning approach could not be more suitable for young pre-school children. There are so many reasons why Farley Nursery - Sparsholt is simply the best.

Firstly, I want my children to be free to learn and explore as children rather than feel curtailed by classroom space. Secondly, all the staff know all the children and are supportive of their needs as individuals. I never feel worried if my child is upset at drop-off as I know that someone he loves will scoop him up and comfort him. They always know what will distract him or what will make him happy. Thirdly, both my boys have hardly had any days away from nursery because they are outside for the majority of the time, the children don't share their coughs and colds as easily with each other. Farley Nursery is unique and utterly wonderful and we love it! Five stars all around!

My daughter loves Farley Nursery School! The staff are fantastic there, from the baby room where she started to now little bees. She comes home every day full of smiles and mud! Her key worker is just brilliant with her! Could not recommend them enough.

Farley Nursery is such a wonderful nursery, and I feel so lucky my children get to spend their days there! The staff are all so smiley and welcoming and happy, and my children talk so fondly of them and have such great bonds with them. They are all so nurturing and caring. It is such a lovely environment and always looks so exciting and fun. As outdoorsy children, my two love that they can be outside most of the time, but the yurts are also very nice and cosy for particularly wet or cold moments and for nap times! I love that all the age groups mix and spend time together. The nursery is often planning events such as dress-up days, which my children love. The events such as sports days, the nativity, mothers and fathers day events, parents evenings are above and beyond any other nursery I know of. The children get to go out for walks and out exploring the farm at the college regularly. I couldn't recommend this nursery more and feel very grateful we are part of the Farley family!

A wonderful and happy nursery. Great outdoor setting. So much energy and enthusiasm from all the staff; the children are loved, and every day is filled with fun and laughter. It is a unique and brilliant start for a child, and my daughter has loved her time there. Would highly recommend.
