Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery is located in the heart of Orton and opened in September 2021. The new nursery is next to Ormiston Meadows Academy, and is a project by the non-profit organisation Stars & Sparkles Foundation.

The nursery has large and airy rooms, an exciting garden area with excellent development resources. The stimulating environment accommodates up to 52 children between 9 months of age and 5 years old.

The team is highly qualified and fully committed to working closely with parents at each stage of their child's development.

Brilliant nursery. Both my daughters have always been happy and eager to attend. The staff are great and have built really nice relationships with my children. Both have come on so well with their learning and social skills. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful nursery Star and Sparkles is! From the moment we walk through the door, our daughter is greeted with a smile and warm hello. There's always a variety of activities set out for the children to enjoy. We really look forward to seeing the pictures that we are sent when our daughter is
at nursery - it's lovely to see her so happy and engrossed in the activities she's been doing that particular morning.
From a parent's perspective, the nursery is very well managed. We are kept up to date with frequent newsletters, and Facebook always had lovely updates showing what the children have been up to and what's up and coming.
All of the staff are very lovely and approachable, they make time to answer any of the questions we might have.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I was very anxious about sending my daughter to a nursery, but I am glad that I chose this one. She is always so excited to go and runs through the door as soon as we get there. I feel very reassured that she is in safe hands and well looked after. I would
recommend this nursery.

Well, what can I say, my granddaughter loves coming to Stars & Sparkles every day; she has a wonderful time. She has learnt so much, her communication skills and social skills have really developed.
The staff are wonderful; they have really made me feel comfortable knowing that she is being looked
after so well.

Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery is a lovely place for our 4-year-old to come. There are plenty of varied activities for all the children to play, to get creative and to learn.
Each morning my child happily heads through the door excited to get started, and at the end of the day, is keen to show me what
she has done.
The place is bright, fun and secure, with a good indoor and outdoor space for them to enjoy and explore.
The staff are very friendly and keen to work with the parents to help the children learn and grow. They are also always happy to listen and help with any concerns or questions you may have.
I would definitely recommend this nursery to any parents thinking of bringing their children here.

Very friendly staff and welcoming setting. My daughter enjoys going into the nursery. There are open activities to keep her entertained and interested. I really like how the nursery staff have a theme based on a book each half term. My daughter has enjoyed this, and she has been able to recite parts
of the book studied that term. Staff are also very informative; each afternoon I am given detailed feedback on what my daughter has been doing and how she has been throughout the day. With our report from her key worker, it was very detailed and accurate. I'm happy with the service we receive!

My child has settled in lovely. He is happy for his (school day). The staff go above and beyond for him. The staff are very good with working with us as a family as well as our child and professionals that are involved. They are easy to contact, and they communicate very well about what they have done
during the day. We are always greeted with a happy smile. We are very happy and thankful to all of the staff for all they do for our child.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

I have been in childcare for almost 20 years now and have worked in several of the Stars settings during this time, working my way up from practitioner to Manager.
My ultimate goal as Manager is ensuring every child at Stars & Sparkles receives the best possible developmental outcome through providing exciting and engaging experiences through a holistic approach to ensure their needs are met.
My team and I strive to provide the best possible care through nurturing their little minds and us being such a big part of their learning is truly a privilege.
