Stars & Sparkles Day Nursery is located in the heart of Orton and opened in September 2021. The new nursery is next to Ormiston Meadows Academy, and is a project by the non-profit organisation Stars & Sparkles Foundation.

The nursery has large and airy rooms, an exciting garden area with excellent development resources. The stimulating environment accommodates up to 52 children between 2 and 5 years old.

The team is highly qualified and fully committed to working closely with parents at each stage of their child's development.

Nursery setting is absolutely great, staff is brilliant and very attentive. Couldn't ask for more as my daughter loves every each of them. Her favourite is one staff member in particular, she is amazing, very polite and kind person. We are lucky to be at this nursery.

I have found this nursery brilliant, with friendly staff and polite, very accommodating to my autistic child. The managers have been brilliant with her and helped me a lot. Good play setting with lots of activities for the children to play with and do.

My son loves to go to the nursery since his first day. Every morning when is nursery day he is excited to attend. The staff are wonderful, friendly and approachable. As our family is multilingual it is extremely reassuring and helpful the staff supports my child to develop his language skills. It only
has been just a few months since he started but we can see a massive improvement in his speech. We are very grateful to all the staff for everything and we can highly recommend the setting to any parent thinking of bringing in their child here.

My little girl absolutely loves going to the nursery. She has never properly settled in previous settings but has felt comfortable and happy from the first day of attending here. She always asks if she has nursery, as she is excited to attend.
The staff are lovely, always there to have a chat if you
have any concerns and keep you updated with how your child's getting on. I love the app that they use to send you photos of what your child has been up to.

What a wonderful nursery Star and Sparkles is! From the moment we walk through the door, our daughter is greeted with a smile and warm hello. There's always a variety of activities set out for the children to enjoy. We really look forward to seeing the pictures that we are sent when our daughter is
at nursery - it's lovely to see her so happy and engrossed in the activities she's been doing that particular morning.
From a parent's perspective, the nursery is very well managed. We are kept up to date with frequent newsletters, and Facebook always had lovely updates showing what the children have been up to and what's up and coming.
All of the staff are very lovely and approachable, they make time to answer any of the questions we might have.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

I have been in childcare for almost 20 years now and have worked in several of the Stars settings during this time, working my way up from practitioner to Manager.
My ultimate goal as Manager is ensuring every child at Stars & Sparkles receives the best possible developmental outcome through providing exciting and engaging experiences through a holistic approach to ensure their needs are met.
My team and I strive to provide the best possible care through nurturing their little minds and us being such a big part of their learning is truly a privilege.
