Busy Bees Edwalton provides warm and welcoming rooms dedicated to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and is wonderfully equipped to provide a stimulating environment; giving every child all they need to grow and develop with positive early years learning.

Busy Bees is the first childcare business that has its own curriculum which is designed by leading early year educators using the latest insight into cognitive science research from across the globe. Their new curriculum has been carefully crafted to give every child the best start in life. Children will be better prepared for school through imaginative, inventive and engaging activities with a focus on increasingly important subjects.

With exciting outdoor play areas there is plenty of room for inspiring outdoor play, with space to explore and take safe risks. There are also state-of-the-art resources to encourage and nurture your child’s curiosity and independence. Be rest assured that your child will have the best time at nursery, as the fantastic team support them in their nursery development, to ensure they are ready to take the next steps.

Good nutrition is supported at Busy Bees, with a chef on site preparing delicious meals that are part of the NHS accredited menus along with tasty snacks for your little one to tuck in to throughout the day, catering for individual dietary requirements.                

This nursery is conveniently located in the popular retail park on Landmere Lane, just off Wheatcroft Island on the A52 at Edwalton (near Notcutts Garden Centre).

Simply, I can’t rate this nursery highly enough. The facilities are all brand new and there are such a large and varied range of toys, learning tools etc for the children to play with, along with a lovely safe outdoor space. The staff are amazing and take so much time creating lovely spaces in the theme
of my daughter's favourite things, which helps her settle in and thoroughly enjoy her day. They also take so much interest in the little trips we do and ask for pictures to put up in the room to show and tell afterwards which is a lovely touch. We receive regular updates throughout the day which show just how much fun she is having, dancing, playing with homemade playdoh, painting and water toys, the list is endless. Being able to leave your child and know they’re in the best care is all that you can ask for and we completely have that here at Busy Bees. We genuinely couldn’t ask for any more in a nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

I do not have enough praise for the staff at this nursery. We have just moved to the area and have a child with an allergy. They have made the transition smooth and reassured us at every step. Our boy loves this nursery and thoroughly enjoys his time there. Would recommend to anyone.

A calm, peaceful yet exciting atmosphere. A highlight of Busy Bees, Edwalton for me is the utmost cleanliness throughout, everything is so neat and adequately arranged for the different age brackets of children. All the staff are happy and again neat, clean presentation. I adore this nursery and highly

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees just over a month and I’m beyond thrilled at how easy it has been with transitioning her from another different nursery. I had my daughter during a pandemic, where she was solely with us as a family, so she’s always been a little reserved. The settling in days
were an absolutely god-send and each one she waddled off and independently played, whilst showing off all of the Montessori toys to the staff members there - she didn’t even notice I had left! The app has given me a lot of confidence; I am able to see her feeding, sleep and daily activities she does throughout the day, which as you can imagine brings huge peace of mind to my working day. The staff have made my daughter feel comfortable and welcomed, all of which enthuse a kind and warming nature. They are attentive and encouraging, and I’m excited for my daughters future here at Edwalton. Forever grateful that she is the best version of herself in the very best care.

Amazing nursery! Since my little girl has started Busy Bees Edwalton her speech and communication skills here came on so well! I have updates via the app throughout her time there and they also send me pictures of her which is so reassuring as a parent, seeing my little girl happy. They give me detailed
feedback every time I pick her up, I can not fault this nursery! So excited to see my little girl excel in the future with the help of Busy Bees.

We are extremely happy with how Busy Bees Edwalton is run. From day one all staff have been very friendly and accommodating. Child care and activities have been tailored to our child's needs, who is very happy to be there. They are really there for us and go out of their way to support us as parents.
The nursery setting and outdoor area are outstanding and the fee is the same as any small nursery in the area which means great value for our money. Staff are well trained and empathetic! All in all we would recommend Busy Bees Edwalton 100%

Busy Bees Edwalton is an amazing setting. My son has been here for a little while now and in that time he has come on in leaps and bounds! He enjoys going so much and seeing all the team, when I pick him up he cannot wait to tell me all about his fun-filled day! I love that this nursery doesn't make
you feel like your child is a number and you can tell they genuinely care so much for the children. I can't fault the team enough nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all so much! p.s. the new facilities are amazing.

The staff were so welcoming and informative when my child started at Busy Bees Edwalton. Since he has been there he has loved it! He gets so excited when we pull up outside. They ensure the days are filled with exciting activities with some wonderful learning opportunities. We are also constantly kept
in the loop with nappy changes, meals (of which he eats it all!), sleeps and photos of what he is up to. They also identify progress that the child is making. Fantastic! Would 100% recommend.

A beautiful centre which looks better each time we are sent photos of our child’s base room and we can see from activities and outside photos and videos which are shared regularly.
Our child has settled amazingly and is always happy when we drop them off and happy to tell us about their day when we
collect. The staff team are all amazing and so dedicated and passionate about what they do. I highly recommend this centre, for your child care needs.

When my daughter first started nursery at six months I was understanding, very anxious about leaving her. Everyone at Edwalton Busy Bees was so caring and understood my feeling and made me feel confident that my daughter would be fine. And she is absolutely fine and loves coming to nursery. Parentzone
is so helpful and I love seeing new posts of her having a great time, smiling and babbling away. Busy Bees is like a second home to my daughter and all the team are like an extended family.
