Blue Butterfly Montessori Stanmore, is a brand new purpose-built Nursery located near Stanmore High Street.

They pride themselves on the quality of education through their highly experienced staff, to all children at Blue Butterfly Montessori. There are 6 spacious rooms which provides natural light and resources for the children to learn and develop. They also have their own Library and Sensory Room which all children can access throughout their time at nursery. There is a private garden where the children will play regularly throughout the day in all weathers to get a all round experience of the outdoor environment.

They also offer extra curriculum to their children from Sports play to learning ICT Skills.

Blue Butterfly Montessori dedicate themselves to their partnership with parents by working closely together to give the child the best start in life. They do this through parent evening, parent workshops and through their Famly App which informs parents of their child's day at Blue Butterfly, and also shares their observations.

The nursery prides itself on its multicultural meals which are all vegetarian, nut-free and egg-free. Children are involved in serving their own meals to support their independence.

Staff aim to give children a safe and happy place for them to blossom into the innovative young beings.

The team at Blue Butterfly are exceptional! Going above and beyond to make each child feel inclusive and bringing about positive changes in each child’s growth journey.
One lady has really helped our daughter settle in and after 2 years at Blue Butterfly, I can say the best nursery in the region.

Lovely nursery in terms of setting/facilities especially the cleanliness.
Overall very happy with the progress my child has made whilst at Blue Butterfly. The staff have always listened to my concerns and helped where possible. Very happy my child has attended the nursery.
Her key worker and staff
within her room have been amazing and really do treat her well and do fun but educational activities with her.

We have been with Blue Butterfly Montessori since June 2018. As my children transferred from the Pinner branch to the Stanmore branch this is credit to the Blue Butterfly Method as a whole.
My two children have had the best possible start in life with Blue Butterfly. The Nursery always looks presentable
and clean! The designated sensory room and library gave my youngest and opportunity to break away from the classroom.
The app allowed me to keep my family life organised and helped me feel like I was part of their day. It was hard to have my children in nursery full time, but the nursery and its systems and staff made me feel so involved that I could talk to my children about their day and the specifics!
The kitchen do a fantastic job! With my children being meat eaters, a vegetarian menu encouraged a balanced diet. I could see for myself how well my children ate when I attended the stay-and-play, and a dining event.
I would strongly recommend this nursery!

It's a very expensive nursery for what it offers, and they keep increasing the price. The key workers are really good but staff turnover is so high that it's very unsettling for children. I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been attending Blue Butterfly for about 8 months now and she has thrived. I was a little concerned when she started as she was and still is at home a fussy eater, however at nursery the staff have been so supportive and now she loves meals at nursery.
All practitioners provide high-quality care and education for my little one, she cries every day that she wants to go back into nursery. The nursery has high security and cross-checks with staff and everyone who enters the nursery. It puts my mind at ease that she is in a safe nurturing environment with people that put children’s care first!

It has very poor management. Rooms are too busy and crowded, which results in many incidents. After each incident, management is defensive rather than being empathetic with parents or trying to put in new measures to reduce the risk. For example, My little one was bitten a few times in less than two
weeks and I was told that it is normal, offered me a leaflet regarding biting to accept the fact! I was told there is not much that they can do to stop or reduce these kinds of incidents and their staff are not superheroes to stop the kids! I was told my child may be bitten more and I have to accept it!
As a Montessori nursery, most of the staff are not qualified Montessori teachers and can’t challenge my little one. There was a high number of staff who left the nursery in the last year. There is also a high number of bank staff, which makes it difficult for children to bond with them.
As a result, we decided to move our little one to another nursery.

We have had an extremely positive experience at Blue Butterfly. Our son is due to start reception this year and we will miss the attention and care he gets from nursery. We are so thrilled we chose Blue Butterfly Stanmore for our daughter. Born in the first lockdown, she began in Yellow Butterflies at 14 months. We were worried that she would find it particularly difficult to transition into a childcare setting having been born into a very isolated world. How wrong
we were! Through her journey in the Yellow Room, the Green Room and now in the Blue Room, my child has experienced the highest quality of care, kindness and nurturing from the professional and compassionate team within each setting. She has flourished into an independent, curious, animated, well-mannered young girl, with her bubbly personality and confidence shining through. The management and specialist room staff have all been wonderful, professional, committed, and kind and we couldn't recommend the nursery enough. A big thank you for instilling in our daughter a strong love of learning in such an encouraging, inclusive engaging and fun environment!

The positive development in our child since we started 12 months ago has been astonishing. The staff helped my child settle in really well after transitioning from another nursery. He is now a confident 4-year-old. My child seems very happy when dropped off in the morning and has made some really nice

My son has been attending Blue Butterfly Montessori since the beginning of this year and we have been very happy with the nursery. I was anxious about him starting nursery as he was born during the pandemic and did not have a chance to attend baby classes and interact with many people. I did not need
to worry so much as the environment is so supportive and he has thrived. I was also worried about some food intolerances he has, again he is well looked after and extra care is taken around mealtimes.
All the staff have been wonderful both in his room and in the office. We always get a good handover at the end of the day and any questions we have are always answered. Communication is always regular from the nursery, as well as regular observations with regard to his development. We recently, unfortunately, had a hospital stay with my youngest child and the staff were amazing at providing extra support to my son and us as a family, so grateful for their kindness.

We have two children at Blue Butterfly Montessori (Stanmore) who have both had a challenging start to their lives and therefore we were quite anxious about them starting nursery but we have found Blue Butterfly Montessori (Stanmore)as a setting is super nurturing and provides a sympathetic and supportive
environment where our children have thrived.
One of our children has special needs and we feel all of the Blue Butterfly Montessori (Stanmore) staff understand her needs and do their utmost to ensure she is cared for, included in everything and feels comfortable.
All of the staff we have encountered are so caring and thoughtful and really do all they can to ease the pressures on our family.
I cannot commend the Blue room key workers and the special educational needs care coordinator enough. If I had more children I would definitely send them here and I would not hesitate in recommending this setting to any parent looking for a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to be the best versions of themselves and taught wonderful values. Our children love the delicious food also.

My daughter has been at the nursery for four months, and she has settled in wonderfully. All the practitioners are warm, caring and attentive. They have helped my daughter develop so many skills, which I am sure I would not have been able to do myself at home. For example, being able to communicate
through sign language and playing with her peers, including sharing and walking!
The nursery is cleaned regularly and is big and airy.
The playground is lovely too!

My child joined a few months ago and we are very pleased with the nursery and our child's progress as a result. We were nervous about moving him from a previous nursery, but he transitioned so well. The structure and activities here using the Montessori method are wonderful. The Blue room, with the
oldest children, has extracurricular activities which keep the children entertained and excited about learning new and varied things.
The staff are very kind, courteous, and attentive, and I feel that has had a real positive impact on my child and us as parents. The facilities are excellent, having been purpose-built, everything has been thought of and I feel my child gets the best of the best. All clean and child-proof in a safe and welcoming, bright environment. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents as well as for new staff. It has a real community feel about it.

My daughter started nursery at the end of October 2021, and at first, I was very nervous. However, I have been blown away by how amazing the staff are at looking after our wild little one! She has developed so much in the past month due to encouragement and various Montessori activities. She loves going
to Nursery and now always comes back out with a smile. The Management team are also very helpful and prompt with sorting out any issues. I love that the Nursery has an app that they update throughout the day which tells us what our little one has been up to, which leaves us less anxious. I would highly recommend this Nursery to everyone!
