Our family has been part of the Blue Butterflies community since they first opened their doors in 2021, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. It has been an incredible environment for our oldest daughter during her formative first years.
She hasn't just received an education; she has gained
vital life skills and formed deep social connections in a truly nurturing setting. The staff are 1st class-genuine, professional, and deeply invested in the children's well-being. This care extends to the office team as well, who are always helpful, informative, and incredibly supportive of parents.
We loved our experience so much that we have already signed up our youngest daughter. We are so looking forward to being part of the BB family once again!

This is a great nursery for those looking for childcare right from a young age. We started our little at 9 months and have had no regrets since! The staff are so nurturing, the activities are varied, and the food is 10/10 healthy and varied. We couldn't be happier with the nursery overall. The only
feedback would be to provide 4 day care as this is the reason we are having to leave, which is a shame. Would most definitely recommend this nursery to others!

Our daughter recently graduated from Blue Butterfly Montessori having been there for 2.5+ years. She started as a quiet and shy young toddler and left as a caring, kind, confident, independent and well-spoken little girl, with a strong foundation, ready for her transition to school. This is a great
testament to the nurturing, supportive and safe environment the children are given to thrive in. The teachers, staff, facilities, activities, trips, food and education is outstanding and the entire team are very dedicated and passionate and treat the children as individuals. We have been incredibly pleased with our journey and the nursery has been like a home away from home, as our daughter always went in and came back happy and learnt something new each week. We were very sad to leave but look forward to our second child joining the nursery in 2026. Thank you Blue Butterfly!

Blue Butterfly was a great nursery experience for my son and he has learnt a lot along the way. All the staff work very hard and are very dedicated to what they do. The nursery in general has a great atmosphere for early learning. It is purpose-built and as a result has lots of space, light and
resources. In addition, it is kept very clean which made me feel very comfortable sending my child. I would highly recommend this nursery! It will definitely prepare your child for school. I am sure we will remember our time here for a long while!

Our son went to Blue Butterfly for two years, and in those years we've seen him flourish into a happy, confident and intelligent little boy. This is thanks to the wonderful staff of key workers and care takers. We are so grateful for the care they provided and seeing our little one excitedly rush to
nursery every morning made us realise what an incredible place this was for him to grow, learn and forge incredible friendships. We are for forever grateful to the nursery for providing an excellent foundation for education and a love for learning. And especially for looking after him so well. Blue butterfly will always be an extended part of our family.

My daughter was with Blue Butterfly for almost 3 years and what can I say she has loved it. The staff are amazing the teaching is at its best. Everytime we drop her we as parents feel so fearless as we know she is looked after so well in everyway. The team have been just amazing they are really
kind, supportive and show so much love and care in the children. There really isnt any words to describe how our journey has been with blue butterfly we have had the best experience with the nursery. From the food to summer trips everything was at level best. My daughter has come out of Blue Butterfly as a very smart, kind, confident little girl and credit goes to the team, therefore I thank each and everyone of you for making our Journey at the Nursery so incredible.

A Nurturing and Happy Environment - Highly Recommend!
From the moment we toured the facility, the staff at Blue Butterfly - Stanmore made us feel welcome and reassured.
The whole of nursery and classrooms are clean, bright, and filled with engaging, age-appropriate learning materials. The
curriculum is a perfect balance between structured learning (like letters, numbers, and early science) and creative play. We've seen excellent growth in our child's confidence, vocabulary, and social skills.
What really sets this nursery apart is the communication - we receive regular updates, pictures, and detailed progress reports. It's clear the teachers genuinely care about every child's well-being.
We are so grateful for the love and attention our child received each day at Blue Butterfly - Stanmore has become a second home - and we couldn't imagine a better start to our child's educational journey

As parents we are very happy with the nursery. Our daughter started in Feb.
Our child is so content when there and has developed so much. A lovely clean spacious environment. Fab outdoor area. Food outstanding. Even do nursery outings which we were able to join. Very responsive team.
The
staff are amazing. Show my daughter so much love and compassion. Go over and above and truly appreciate them.

We have had an extremely positive experience at Blue Butterfly. Our Daughter is due to start reception this year and we will miss the attention and care she gets from nursery. The nursery has some wonderful teachers who go above and beyond what is expected of them to deliver an outstanding
experience to the children. we appreciate everything the nursery has done to encourage my child to feel supported, comfortable. She has gained Confident to go next level now.

I was completely surprised at how much my son learnt in the short time he was there. He absolutely loved it and still talks about it today. It was a very tough decision to have to leave and I wish we were still close enough to be able to send him there. We have trialed a few nurseries as we move
around a lot and not one has come close.
The teachers were all amazing and I highly recommend to all new parents in the area.

Great nursery - my son feels safe and is flourishing in the environment! He looks forward to seeing his teachers and has progressed a lot since starting a few months ago
He loves the fresh food made on site and always finishes his meals!

The nursery experience is truly a daunting one but every member of staff consistently delivered on care to both my son and understanding of us as first time parents throughout our time with blue butterfly without fail. I have never had a negative experience with them and never even had to question
anything they've done. The facilities are of the highest standard and food without a doubt first class. BB is an exemplary example of what a nursery should be like.

My child has been going there since she is 1 and her sibling will also join the nursery.
The staff is dedicated and hard working and the children are well looked after. They provide such a variety of creative activities for the children. Our child's
development has bloomed since she joined the nursery. We could not be happier with Blue Butterfly.

We couldn't be happier with the care and nurturing environment provided by this nursery. My child has been attending for over a year now and it's been amazing to see her grow and learn new things every day. She is always happy and well looked after when she comes home, which speaks volumes about the
dedication and attentiveness of the teachers. The staff are incredibly caring and provide a stimulating and engaging environment for the children. They support learning in creative ways.
The nursery itself is spotless and well-maintained and the meals they provide are nutritious and balanced. I really appreciate the effort they put into involving parents in celebrating events and encouraging parents to be involved.
I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, supportive and nurturing space for their child. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for the amazing work you do!

Wonderful nursery! We are so sad to be leaving unto pastures new but Blue Butterfly Montessori will hold a special place in our hearts. Our little girl really struggled to settle into nursery but her keyworker and other staff were all so helpful and patient with her and us. She loved nursery in the
end, despite the many tears initially! Such a great range of activities and excellent food - I never needed to worry that she won't be fed well. Brilliant staff and so caring to all the children.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. Our son left only because we have moved and him attending this nursery is no longer possible. He has flourished at Blue Butterfly Montessori. All carers are so attentive and took great care of my son. He bonded really well with all caretakers. They teach them
sign language, how to use a spoon and really develop all the skills they need to have as well as encouraging independence. I can only tell the difference as we have now experienced a different setting at the new nursery and I can compare the two. I wish there was a Blue Butterfly in Hitchin!

My daughter has always felt so secure and confident at the nursery, she loves going in every day and she feels very loved by the staff there. It is comforting to know that she is in a place that really cares about her. The staff go out of their way to make the children feel safe and welcome. I feel
like the staff at every stage have always tried to have a personal connection with my daughter and it's really showed in her attitude towards going in every morning. I appreciate that the nursery also really focused on her learning her numbers and letters and advancing her writing and reading skills, they've also taught her how to use her manners and she's really soaked up the nursery's golden rules for behaviours. She will really miss her comfort zone of nursery and we appreciate everything the nursery has done for her.

Our son loves this school - from the teachers to the students to the challenging curriculum. The teachers are passionate about seeing their pupils succeed. They always share moments of pride they see within our child - his good behaviour and achievements. The school offers nutritious meals in good
portion sizes. Our son enjoys the food and talks about it at home.
This is indeed a second home for our son.

Blue Butterfly Montessori (Stanmore) was our first choice when looking for nurseries.
My son has been going for four months now and is thriving in all areas. The teachers are all accredited and able to deal with any situation that may occur.
When collecting my son at the end of the day, we are
greeted by one of the teachers who happily tells us what he has got up to and where he has excelled that day or what needs a bit of work.
They are happy to work alongside us in the growth and development of my son and of all the children who attend.
The app is great in keeping you informed throughout the day on how much they have eaten, nappy changes and so on.
I would highly recommend this Montessori to anyone looking.

We started at Blue Butterfly Montessori (Stanmore) in January, earlier this year. As my son transferred from another nursery, the change really unsettled him at first and the management team were really helpful with this transition, supporting both us, as parents, and my son through this difficult
period. He soon settled in and now loves his new routine at the nursery. The staff are friendly, approachable, kind and caring and really take an active approach in ensuring the children are well looked after and their learning needs. They provide regular feedback on your child's progress in form of in-the-moment feedback and at quarterly parents' evenings. The nursery is purpose-built and they give particular attention to hygiene and cleanliness. The menu has a good variety too. Also, my son particularly enjoys activities provided by external companies.
