Giggles Day Nursery - Gipton

My daughter has been at Giggles for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! Always asking if she is going to the nursery. The staff are brilliant and so is the care. My daughter has come on so much with her letters, numbers, shapes, motor skills and overall confidence. She is definitely ahead for starting school. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It is number one in my opinion.

Could not recommend enough, my son loves everything he does, he comes home and discusses everything and with which member of staff he did what. His development has really improved and I am one happy mummy.

My children have been in this nursery since it first opened in 2017, I have seen it grow and change and adapt with the times, as well as undergoing a management change. The care and facilities are both excellent, and the care staff are extremely competent and supportive, I cannot fault the care one bit. However, I have been disappointed on numerous occasions to hear staff members talk in a very negative way about how they were treated by upper management (not the current setup). There also seems to be a very high staff turnover, I see members of staff I have never seen before too frequently for my liking, so consistency may be an issue. The current management setup is very approachable and friendly towards parents, and they deal with any issues promptly and effectively. Overall I am very happy with the service I have had as a parent and my children have been really happy there for a long time.

The staff seem very friendly and welcoming. And my son is happy and has settled in so quickly. I was worried but feel he is in safe hands. I’m very happy with the service provided! Thank you for your support.

Staff are kind and children are very safe whilst in the nursery, my little boy loves it there always goes in without a fight and has a good bond with most of the staff there. They are very helpful too, would recommend to anyone.

This is by far the best nursery in Leeds! My daughter absolutely loved it there! Fantastic staff who genuinely care about the children! The manager is always so helpful and friendly and always dealt with any questions I had swiftly. My daughter's nursery nurse taught my daughter how to walk (she was premature and delayed in her development). My daughter came on in leaps and bounds since starting this nursery! Can’t recommend this nursery highly enough!

Honestly, I couldn't recommend Giggles Day Nursery enough. From my first initial show around, I was put at ease. The manager was so friendly and the whole setting had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff all welcomed me, straight away interacted with my little girl, and made us both feel comfortable. Giggles use an app which is AMAZING! I get regular video and photo updates. I can see how much my daughter has eaten, slept, and drank as well as nappy changes. The nursery has amazing resources, outdoor areas and is very clean. The high-quality level of care and detail you receive on your child's day is just phenomenal. The staff have built an excellent relationship with me and my little girl, they take such good care of her. I couldn't be happier or recommend Giggles enough. Thank you so much for everything you have done for my daughter, she has progressed so much!

My daughter has attended giggles since September and she loves it. She has made so many friends and every evening she will fill me in on all the fun things her and her friends and the staff have been doing! They update parents throughout the day via the app with activities the children are doing and what they will be learning about that week. It took a while for her to settle in but the nursery did everything they could to make sure she enjoyed it and settled in eventually. Her favourite activities at nursery are the wake-up shake-up they do each week which involves getting the children active and dancing. I would recommend this nursery never had any problems and nothing is too much bother for the friendly staff.

My little boy goes here and he loves it, now he wants to go all the time. All the staff are welcoming and helpful. My son comes home everyday singing me songs he has learnt. He enjoys playing with his friends and exploring.

My daughter has settled in so well and comes home each day with a massive smile on her face. She loves nursery, the staff are lovely and caring. I would definitely recommend this nursery. When I drop my daughter off I feel she is safe, I don't worry about her safety when I've left her.

My daughter loves attending nursery here and always has a wonderful time. All the staff are amazing, and there are always loads of activities for the children to do. We are regularly updated with what she has been doing during the week, and get photos and videos of her. She has made a lot of friends and is learning how to interact with other children. Due to the pandemic, these are the first children she has ever met! She is always well-fed, and has a big smile when we pick her up on an evening! Although I have been unable to meet any other parents due to the pandemic, there is a real feeling of a community at the nursery.

To put it simply, I couldn't be happier or recommend Giggles Day Nursery enough! We found the staff to be very warm, welcoming and extremely helpful and professional. They made me feel at ease and most importantly my child. My child has attended for 2 years and settled straight away. There are lots of activities for the children to do, they look amazing, the staff are so creative. They have recently had chicks in the nursery for the children to watch hatch! My child always comes home happy, having had the best day with friends. The facilities are incredible, the outdoor space is amazing, definitely the best nursery in the area! I couldn't be happier with the level of care my child has received at Giggles Day Nursery!

The most amazing staff, with super friendly managers, I couldn’t have picked a better nursery for my daughter. Since joining the nursery, I can see the growth in my daughter and how much she learns from staff on a daily basis. The staff have helped with her sleeping, eating and playing with other kids. Highly recommend parents to send their kids to Giggles Day Nursery as they will be in the most professional hands ever.

My child loves going to Giggles Day Nursery! All of the staff are very lovely and really care for the children. They have good safety measures in place in regards to Covid-19, which makes me feel more at ease to leave my child with them. The communication with the nursery and staff is really good. They use an app and send updates throughout the day. You can also message the nursery and staff through the app and they are very responsive, which makes the communication super easy. If you are looking for a nursery, I can definitely recommend Giggles Day Nursery!

Before my son started at Giggles Day Nursery he had been with me for six months during lockdown and was anxious without me. He had rarely been looked after by other adults, other than his grandparents. The practitioners couldn’t have had more patience. He spent time with his key worker to build his confidence and it wasn’t long before he was going in without even saying bye to me and playing with all his new friends. Academically he has come on so far, I’m amazed by the things he has learnt. They keep me updated on the app with observations and everything he does is logged. My son also has eczema and allergies and again they couldn’t have been more thorough. They apply his cream when he needs it, give him antihistamine if needed and cater for his dietary requirements. Communication is also great, I really can’t fault them. My youngest is due to start next month and he tends to have separation anxiety, which is also due to lockdown. I have no worries, I know my son will be well looked after.

I can only start by just saying a massive thank you to the management team and wonderful staff at Giggles Day Nursery. Our baby girl started at this nursery just after she turned one and it was a difficult choice given the unprecedented situation in the world but we cannot be more happy with the level of care and attention these wonderful people have for our daughter. It is always hard to leave your child with someone, however this transaction could not have been made be easier for us. They helped us in every possible way and boy did they deliver. Not only have they looked after my daughter at nursery, they gave us amazing advice on how to look after our daughter while she’s at home. I honestly cannot recommend this nursery more, I cannot imagine that anywhere else can look after your little one as good as these guys. We will always be ever so grateful for the care and love they provide to our baby girl. Thank you.

We were very nervous about putting our son into a nursery as he hadn't been well socialised due to the coronavirus pandemic, a feeling I'm sure most parents feel. We could not have chosen a better nursery for our son than Giggles Day Nursery. After only having a few short stays, our little boy had settled in and is so happy to go there. The staff are always so helpful, welcoming and the whole nursery has such a happy feeling to it. It is well equipped with both indoor and outdoor activities to keep the children entertained and has a good variety of food options. The parents are also kept up to date via an app which I love, as when I'm at work I can look to see what my little boy has been up to and this just reassures me that he is safe and happy. I would highly recommend Giggles Day Nursery.

Our daughter joined Giggles Day Nursery two months ago and the staff have been wonderful so far. All staff members that we have come across are warm, helpful and our daughter is very comfortable with all the staff in her room. The communication has been great, their app is very user friendly and provides a really clear picture of what she does during the day. The premises are clean and welcoming and their outdoor space is great. Our daughter has food allergies and the staff have been incredibly accommodating, the chef has also adapted a good menu to make sure she’s eating well. We have been so impressed with the nursery since we first visited and would highly recommend to friends.

The nursery is extremely well run, it is highly organised and you are kept update with all aspects through excellent communication. All the staff are knowledgeable and professional. The care my daughter has received is outstanding and her learning and development even more so.

Staff are super friendly and welcoming. My daughter loves the setting. Excellent facilities for children. Outdoor provisions are amazing. With the support of the nursery my daughter has gained lots of confidence.
