Kids Planet Leigh provides a safe, caring, stimulating and happy environment. They nurture each child to flourish in their own individual way, supporting them to reach their full potential.

Kids Planet Leigh is a purpose-built three storey nursery with four beautiful age-appropriate rooms which are decorated to the highest of quality. Each of the rooms provides the children with the opportunity to learn and develop through focused and free play activities, taking into account the EYFS and each child's individual needs and abilities.

They pride themselves on trying to recreate a homely atmosphere while providing children with a wealth of different experiences both indoors and in the fabulous outdoor environment. All members of the team are dedicated and passionate about childcare.

All food is made on site daily by a qualified chef and is fresh and locally sourced.

To ensure Kids Planet Leigh has an excellent parental involvement, they use an online system allowing parents to gain access to your child's learning and an insight to their day.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All staff members are amazing, my little one absolutely loves going to Tender Years. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do, my little one always comes out happy and smiling and as a mum, that is everything you could wish for.

As a first time parent, Tender Years put our minds at ease that our child was in a safe and loving environment. The staff are all great and offer advice whenever we have questions. I highly recommend this great nursery!

Excellent service, very happy regarding services and everything. My daughter has been going there since September 2021 she is behind with everything (speaking, interaction, communication). I receive all the support from the whole team. Thanks for everything!

My little boy started at Tender Years Leigh Nursery around a month ago. From the moment I walked around the nursery and met the manager and all the staff, I was so impressed with how kind, professional and informative they all are. There are of lots of wooden toys to play with including a huge train
and sandpit outside which my boy absolutely loves. My little boy has already come on leaps and bounds in just a month with his walking skills and babbling and he genuinely gets so excited when we pull up to the nursery gates. I love the updates that I get throughout the day via the app with photos and texts and it even shows you what food he has eaten, how many bottles he’s had and his nap times. He also loves all the food that is provided, which is very comforting to know that he is having lovely home-cooked meals. Overall, what makes this nursery a success is the amazing staff and fantastic facilities.

This was the first time my son would be going to a nursery, so I was very apprehensive about sending him. I saw this nursery online and thought I’d give it a try with him. He seemed wary at first, but once I am out the way, he settles down. You receive updates and pictures through the app from the nursery,
which makes you feel more at ease and relaxed knowing that they are not unsettled. The staff are lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend the nursery.

Our little boy, who is 2, started at Tender Years last week. Being a first-time mum, I felt overwhelmed by all the options out there for him, not really knowing where to start. After being recommended by a friend, who lives close by, to go and have a look round, since they had just renovated and everything
was brand new and to current regulations. I thought it's worth looking around. After meeting the manager and another member of staff, it didn’t take me and my husband long to decided Tender Years was perfect for us. They were so helpful and open, I felt I could ask them all the questions I felt silly asking. He has been several times for settling in sessions at their recommendation and started his first full-on Wednesday. He has enjoyed every minute of being at nursery, and we have felt so at ease with the whole process since meeting everyone at Tender Years. I can’t thank you all enough for all your time and effort.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I am a level 6 practitioner with an Early Years degree and have worked in childcare settings since 2013. I started my journey gaining experience in an 'Outstanding' setting and progressed from supply staff to deputy manager. In July 2024 I took the next step in my career and became nursery manager here at Kids Planet Leigh, supporting the families and children we care for.
