A lovely place to send your child. My daughter is now 4 and been there since she was 10 months old and loves the place and the staff there. Always go out their way to improve her skills and language and always quick to let me know how well she is doing while in their care.

Our experience with Elm House (Gateacre) Nursery has been brilliant. From the moment our son started attending in May 2023, we were impressed by the warm, nurturing environment and the dedicated, caring staff. They genuinely care about each child's development and go above and beyond to create a fun
and educational atmosphere. Our son has thrived in this setting, making significant progress in his social skills, communication, and learning.
The open communication between the staff and parents via the app is another highlight. We receive regular updates and photos, which keep us informed and connected to our son's daily experiences.
We would highly recommend Elm House (Gateacre) Nursery to any parent.

My daughter has attended for 7 months and the staff have been really good with her. She was provided with a key worker and they stay in contact through an app. They have supported her development and always let us know if there are any issues. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I have two children at the nursery and can honestly say that all the staff are proactive in supporting the development of my children. My children are both English Additional Language speakers and the nursery have accommodated this in their wall displays and books. They have also invited me in to read
to the children which really boosted my daughter's confidence and pride in her identity. My other child has learning delays and staff have actively sought out Continuing Professional Development to support his needs and invite outside experts to assess where both home and nursery can support my son with early intervention strategies. Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

More than happy with my choice of nursery. My child is coming along so much in a short space of time, using a ton of new words and some new Makaton signs, always bringing things home from the activities they do.

We couldn’t be happier with our nursery choice for our little girl. She transitioned from another nursery a month ago, and we were worried about how she’d settle, but the team at Elm House have been incredible, and she absolutely loves going to the nursery now. She often comes home with paintings or
drawings that she’s done during the day; we get regular photo updates and are kept up to date on her food/naps etc, via the app.
The facilities are lovely. We really liked the large outside space a lot.
Would highly recommend Elm House!

The staff and manager/owner have been so supportive of my two grandchildren one of whom has special needs.
They have worked on an individual basis and delivered child-centred programmes to help my grandson improve his speech, eye contact, motor skills and education.
They have been patient kind and
caring.
I can't praise them enough.
They have also supported my daughter in her trying to meet milestones.
This is an excellent nurturing educational environment where children are treated as individuals and supported to fulfil their potential. I wish all nurseries were as good as Elm House Gateacre.

Can’t rave about this nursery enough. My son started last September after being moved from another nursery. I was worried about his transition but after one day he was so settled, no crying going in and the staff were so reassuring.
The staff have gone over and above to support us over the last year
with his speech delay and some other observations about his behaviours. We now have early intervention to get him the support needed both at home and in nursery.
They have also provided support for myself and always take the time to check in with me at the end of the day when I pick him up.
The app is great as well so I can keep track of what’s been eaten and how much sleep he’s had plus the lovely pictures and updates of his day.

Elm House Nursery is a great nursery which I could recommend anytime to anyone. The manager is always helpful and will answer any concerns or questions. All of the staff is lovely and taking good care of our boy.

Since my little boy joined Elm House Nursery he’s come on so much, all the staff have really helped with his progression and been really supportive with his additional needs.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my 2.5 year old daughter has been going there since she turned one so we have experienced the baby room as well as the toddler room. Staff are great and so friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble, and they take the time to teach the children and are always busy doing
activities. Just from the 1.5 years we've been here, you can see improvements being made, to always look for ways to continuously enhance the experience for both children and parents. For example - introduction of the famly app, parent and children events, communication

Since my daughter started at Elm House Day Nursery just over 6 months ago she has come on so much... more confident with people and settled in quickly with the team being so welcoming and ensuring the children are the centre focus. So glad that I chose the Elm House nursery as they have put my worries/anxiety
of my daughter starting a nursery at ease as I know she is in safe hands.

My two children both attend Elm House Gateacre and we are very happy with the nursery. Our children really enjoy the nursery and have good bonds with their carers. The children participate in a wide range of activities and get plenty of time outdoors. The staff are lovely and the management is excellent.

Always helpful and caring. Baby loves going here and is always very well looked after. The nursery have been really good with helping us sort things out and medical issues needing a bit of extra attention.

Amazing nursery setting that's helped our little son come on so far as to taking his first steps, learning new words and interacting with other young children his own age. I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a local childcare setting.

Elm House Day Nursery Gateacre is the most gorgeous nursery ever. My older daughter went to Elm House so it only felt right for me to let my baby girl follow when we had her. To say I trust their staff with my life is an understatement. From the moment we walked in and still to this day every single
member of staff has been so accommodating, professional and polite at all times. You sense that they treat each child as they would their own and that's what makes them so special knowing how safe she is whilst having to work. My baby girl has come on leaps and bounds in only the few months she has been here, I can't wait to watch her blossom with the help of all the staff. 100% would always recommend this nursery, would be lost without them.

My 18 month daughter loves going to nursery and I could not speak more highly of the staff - their loving nature and kindness is evident every single day - all the team are an absolute pleasure to deal with and they keep me informed on activities/food/sleep on a daily basis

My little boy started in baby room at the end of September, he absolutely loves it. He attends two mornings a week and we can already see how much he is coming on, he seems to understand more and had the chance to get involved in all kinds of activities, so far he has done painting, making pictures
and dance exercise. I love the updates I get from the staff in the room, they already know his likes/dislikes. All the girls have gone above and beyond to settle him in and we are so grateful. We feel at ease when he's at nursery as we know he is well looked after.
