Elm House Day Nursery Gateacre

Since our little one started at this nursery he has come on leaps and bounds. He is encouraged by the team to develop and try new things and we get regular progress updates from his key worker. It's a weight off our chest knowing we don't need to worry about him while he's safe at nursery

My little boy started with Elm House in October and I was really nervous to send him. The staff have made this transition into nursery so easy, they have been great, they've stayed in touch with updates they've reassured me (which has been needed!) and although it's took a little while for him to settle he has and that is literally down the the staff. Special mention to his key worker she has been amazing, the care that is given to my little boy is just fantastic and has massively settled my very big nerves! Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone. The management team are so friendly and it's just nice to know that he is around lovely people. Thanks very much to everyone!

We would highly recommend this nursery. Since we moved our son there he has developed so much and he loves going in each day. The staff all know him really well and we get a detailed handover at the end of the day. The app is great and we get regular updates on all the different activities the children do each day.

A lovely nursery made by the excellent staff. Both my daughters have attended and I am really happy with their learning. The managers are great if you ever have a question they respond quickly and get it sorted straight away. My eldest made really good progress in Preschool and got her ready to start school thanks to her Key Worker. The staff are really caring and always make the children feel special.

Fantastic nursery made by the amazing staff. Our little girl is so happy to attend and settled in really well into the baby room. You are updated regularly about what your child has done throughout the day and it is lovely to see all the photos of the activities they have completed together. Our daughter loves nursery so much.

A lovely place to send your child. My daughter is now 4 and been there since she was 10 months old and loves the place and the staff there. Always go out their way to improve her skills and language and always quick to let me know how well she is doing while in their care.

My daughter has attended for 7 months and the staff have been really good with her. She was provided with a key worker and they stay in contact through an app. They have supported her development and always let us know if there are any issues. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I have two children at the nursery and can honestly say that all the staff are proactive in supporting the development of my children. My children are both English Additional Language speakers and the nursery have accommodated this in their wall displays and books. They have also invited me in to read to the children which really boosted my daughter's confidence and pride in her identity. My other child has learning delays and staff have actively sought out Continuing Professional Development to support his needs and invite outside experts to assess where both home and nursery can support my son with early intervention strategies. Cannot recommend this nursery enough!

Elm House Nursery is a great nursery which I could recommend anytime to anyone. The manager is always helpful and will answer any concerns or questions. All of the staff is lovely and taking good care of our boy.

Since my daughter started at Elm House Day Nursery just over 6 months ago she has come on so much... more confident with people and settled in quickly with the team being so welcoming and ensuring the children are the centre focus. So glad that I chose the Elm House nursery as they have put my worries/anxiety of my daughter starting a nursery at ease as I know she is in safe hands.

Absolutely fantastic nursery, my 2.5 year old daughter has been going there since she turned one so we have experienced the baby room as well as the toddler room. Staff are great and so friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble, and they take the time to teach the children and are always busy doing activities. Just from the 1.5 years we've been here, you can see improvements being made, to always look for ways to continuously enhance the experience for both children and parents. For example - introduction of the famly app, parent and children events, communication

My two children both attend Elm House Gateacre and we are very happy with the nursery. Our children really enjoy the nursery and have good bonds with their carers. The children participate in a wide range of activities and get plenty of time outdoors. The staff are lovely and the management is excellent.

Kind, lovely, friendly, warm and approachable staff. Varied learning environment. Always fun activities happening and interactive days. Supportive of individual child’s targets and achievements, celebrate all things important to each child. Offer support, resources and encouragement to parents and families as a whole too.
