Situated in a single storey building in Bradwell Common in Milton Keynes, Hampstead Gate offers a welcoming environment where every child has the space to grow and learn as an individual.

Each day at the nursery is full of activities which have been carefully designed to suit EYFS principles and are delivered by a team who are highly trained and passionate about providing children with the best start to their education.

As well as wonderful enclosed individual gardens, where children's social, emotional and physical development are encouraged, Hampstead Gate also has a sensory room and a learning hub which includes a lovely library area.

Hampstead Gate Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Tiny Mites every other Friday between 9:30am to 10:30am for the Ladybird’s and Preschool rooms.

A fully inclusive service gives full peace of mind for parents and families, with everything from milk and nappies to sun cream and freshly prepared meals included.

I only have positive comments about Hampstead Gate. My daughter has been attending for over a year now. She has made steady progress in all aspects of her development.
The nursery is always clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend Hampstead Gate.

I am so happy with everything they do at Hampstead Gate Nursery. My child has been there since 1 year old and he has flourished in their care. The atmosphere when you walk in is a positive one and they make you feel like you are part of a community. I could not recommend it more highly. It appears the
manager has created a happy work environment for the staff where that shines through and reflects onto the children.

My 4-year-old son has just finished his time at Hampstead Gate, having attended since he was 18 months old.
The progress I saw in him very quickly was wonderful. He learned so many social skills, his confidence skyrocketed, and the staff are genuinely so nurturing and go out of their way to support
parents and children.
My 2-year-old daughter also attends and her keyworkers support her so well to progress with her communication skills.
The setting itself is lovely; clean, well looked after, and supportive of development. The food always goes down well and both of my kids have seconds of food they’d never even try at home!
I can’t fault Hampstead Gate and the whole team there.

We are very pleased with the development that our daughter shows during her time at the nursery. Moreover, we like the way in which her progress is discussed with us every day and documented in the app. Lately, she has developed her language skills at an impressive rate, and she's able to relate it
to her activities there, be it by herself, with her friends or with the key persons and all staff.
I've been personally involved in activities designed by the nursery staff, such as an audio/picture book in different languages for children to learn in a diverse context. We also appreciate that she is treated like a person with all her individuality at the same time she learns important social skills. We feel she's genuinely loved and looked after. Thanks.

While the beginning was rough after a couple of weeks my child (18 months old at the time) had settled in quite well. I'm very anxious to leave him with other people but the staff reassured me and comforted my child a lot. Right now after one year of attending my kid doesn't always say goodbye anymore
and has a wonderful time with his friends and staff. Thank you a lot.

The overall experience my twin girls had at Hampstead Gate Day Nursery has been outstanding. They have enjoyed coming into the nursery to explore, learn and make new friends. I have been able to keep up with their learning progress on the nursery app which is amazing. There is a good level of safeguarding
for the children. The staff and management at the nursery have been professional in their approach and friendly, always putting the children's care at the forefront. The nursery is always clean and tidy, and children are always served healthy and nutritious meals. The nursery also provides good facilities, a lovely garden, and educational toys for the children to play with while ensuring that the children have a lot of activities to engage in and learn. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering bringing their child/children. Thank you to all the staff at Hampstead Gate Day Nursery.

The team at Hampstead Gate Nursery are wonderful. Our little boy comes out really happy at the end of each day. The chef cooks fresh meals every day, and it's the one place my little boy eats lots. They have something for every child's interests, and ours likes to be outside and look at the fish. The
girls care about every single child, and it really shows.

My 3-year-old started in March 2021 and has come on so far since being here. The staff are all friendly and professional. They've been a vital part in helping my child develop her speaking and find herself after really struggling during lockdowns. They always stick to whatever decision we've made with
regards to potty training, weaning off the dummy and comforters. The garden areas are great, they have activities and toys to suit every want or need my child can think up. Their hygiene standards are immaculate, deal with food allergies and dietary needs really well also.

I have to say, I was a little skeptic at the beginning as I was thinking it`s a brand new nursery and probably the staff not experienced enough but I was completely wrong! We`re really pleased with this nursery. Our two and a half years old son started here in August 2021. It did not take him more than
one week to settle in. The staff at Hampstead Gate Day Nursery are very welcoming and very friendly and you can tell from the beginning that they have lots of experience with children. The facilities and the garden outside are amazing. My son always smiles and he is looking forward to going in every morning. All the activities they perform to stimulate the children`s development are brilliant. We are always kept up to date with his learning and development journey. I would definitely recommend Hampstead Gate Nursery to new parents. I think we could not have chosen a better Nursery for our son. Thank you to all the lovely staff!

My daughter has been at Hampstead Gate Day Nursery since April.
Of those 9 months, she only attends the nursery 1 day a week, but this has not stopped her building a bond or a relationship with her key workers and other staff.
She always smiles when we say it’s time to go to nursery and she happily
goes to her key workers in the morning.
The staff are all very supportive and accommodating to our needs and requirements. They are all friendly and happy to chat to my daughter and I, taking the time to ask how we are.
The menus are nutritious and balanced and my daughter sometimes even has seconds!
The nursery itself is a lovely building and the children have their own gardens to play in according to age. Despite the number of children there, the place is always so spotless!
I’m very happy with the nursery, the lovely staff and how they are looking after my daughter and what they are teaching her and I look forward to seeing my daughter continue to grow.

Our son joined Hampstead Gate Day Nursery in August this year and we genuinely couldn't be happier with the care he receives. He has a cows milk protein allergy and we were quite nervous about how this would be approached but the nursery has been really supportive but also make sure he doesn't miss
out on anything. The nursery always know who we are when we drop/pick up, he absolutely loves everyone in his room (especially his keyworker) and the nursery always support us with ad-hoc requests and the updates we get every day are amazing. If you're looking for a nursery that feels like home and supports your child to learn and develop then Hampstead Gate will be a perfect setting!

My daughter has been attending Hampstead gate Day Nursery since June 2021. We were a little concerned about how she would settle, and I am happy to say that all of the staff have been amazing with her and she is so settled and happy. She loves going there and the friends she made.
She always has a
smile when I hand her over. We get feedback on how her day has been each time we pick her up. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Her physical and social skills have progressed hugely since going to Hampstead gate Day Nursery. Thank you to all the staff who work there, we strongly recommend for other parents.

My 3-year-old twins attended Hampstead Gate Day Nursery happily each morning! All the staff members were extremely friendly and caring, doing their best to meet our needs as a family. My son was well supported with potty training and his journey improved, the garden is filled with stimulus and play
materials, providing exciting learning opportunities for the children. Lunches are a delight with healthy options for growing minds. All my questions or queries were responded to in a timely manner. Their preferred milk was provided with ease. The online system was regularly updated with pictures and observations of my children learning and playing which provided great insight into their days! I would highly recommend this nursery!

The nursery looks amazing. I can only see from the outside at the moment but the garden and resources are all brand new and look so much fun. I have seen inside on the virtual tour - fab! The food my niece gets sounds very nice and she comes out very happy and sometimes doesn't want to leave!

seem really friendly and welcoming to talk to, the app is updated all the time too.

As a first time mother returning to work, this was daunting for me but the staff were amazing and reassured me on my fears.
They are a loving and kind bunch of people I felt I could trust with my son who was 11 months at the start. The app is amazing, they update you on everything throughout the day
with pictures so I knew my son was fine in their care.
They let you call anytime and even make sure you're ok as a parent. The settle sessions I think help the transition for the parents more than the kids lol but is great for them to get comfortable with their key workers before the routine sets in.
My son is a lockdown baby and has not had the interaction with other children he normally would have had. Since being at the nursery for a month he's come on leaps and bounds! He interacts with the other children and plays with them. They feed the children an amazing variety of food and help them develop.
The nursery is clean and the service for your special little ones is exceptional.

When visiting relatives we popped along to see what all the fuss was about, we were very happy and delighted to see how you had changed the old nursery to this lovely building. It now has welcoming staff who seemed happy to be there. The nursery seems to cover all aspects of child support and care from
the library to the painting room. I was impressed with the smartboard and I can only imagine all the fun the children are going to have in the garden along with the staff. On the open day, the manager was very informative about the nursery and all the activities on display, along with her staff. Our grandchild will be happy and fulfilled.

I looked around the garden and was amazed at the activities the children are able to do to keep them occupied. I peered through the window and the nursery is so bright and clean, the children were all so busy playing it was lovely to see. I sometimes pick up my granddaughter and she always comments
on what she has had for lunch, it all sound delicious. She has blossomed since she has attended this nursery and the staff always inform me of how her day went, they are all so friendly and cheery. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery. If you have any questions, the manager is always there to put your mind at rest. Hopefully soon we will be able to go to a fete and look at all the exciting rooms my granddaughter talks about.

Elkie is the Manager of Hampstead Gate Day Nursery in Milton Keynes and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 22 years. She has numerous qualifications, including an NNEB and foundation degree in Early Years, plus an Assessors Award and V1 Award. Elkie has worked at Childbase Partnership for 11 years and was previously Manager of Meadow View Day Nursery in Newport Pagnell.


What is your favourite feature of Hampstead Gate?
I love the layout of the building; it has a beautiful flow and access to individual gardens from each room. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow lots of natural light and an open feeling. The benefit of the art and woodwork room and the library is also a bonus.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
Hampstead Gate already feels like an established nursery, and the team is like a family. The nursery has a very warm and welcoming feeling.
