My little girl is currently transitioning between the baby room and the toddler room. The care and attention she has received from all the team has been exceptional. I get updated on the plans for the day and what that plan is related to skills wise, everything is based on what the children enjoy and
what they did at the weekend previous. Honestly the best nursery I could have sent her to.

Absolutely recommend Newhouse. My baby loves being there and the staff are not only brilliant professionals but caring people at their best. I have peace of mind knowing that my baby is with them and she has lots of fun! She is always going in and out with a big smile on her little face and I can tell

The staff are very nice and made the transition from another nursery to this one for my child very easy. My child likes everyone there. He has learnt a lot of new skills since going to this nursery. I would highly recommend it.

My son has been attending since he was very small and loves Newhouse Nursery and its staff. They have been accommodating with working hours and always tried to help. My son has progressed and we have noticed a difference in the things he has learnt whilst attending.

Newhouse nursery is an exceptional nursery. My son has been coming here for 8 months now, he is nearly 2 and In that time I have seen a drastic change in him. He now interacts well with other children, knows all his colours and can count to 5, and can tell me every animal from the farmyard. He can now
sing nursery rhymes and has progressed phenomenally with his speech. The staff here are so welcoming and they genuinely will do anything for you, especially my son's key worker. They go above and beyond to make sure my son is comfortable and I am always relaxed leaving him because I know he is in safe hands. The food is all freshly cooked and there is always a lovely variety. Would not send my child anywhere else, Thankyou Newhouse.

Since my 2-year-old daughter started at this nursery she has come on leaps and bounds. In the last couple of months from starting, her speech has developed drastically, she now eats with her cutlery and is even now using a normal beaker. She is also at the potty training stage and is doing really well.
I'm also very happy with the staff at this nursery and my daughter is always happy with big smiles when she sees them.

Since my son has been attending this nursery (three months) he has improved a lot, he is two and a half years old and due to the past pandemic, he did not know how to play with children and did not communicate with them.
Now he shares toys with kids without jealousy and as soon as he sees children
he immediately wants to play. Surely this nursery is committed to helping my son in socialization. Newhouse is a very clean nursery and the workers are very kind.

The toddler room girls have really helped my brother enjoy his nursery experience after having a bad experience elsewhere. They have put the time and effort into helping him settle and bring out his cheeky personality. He started in October and has come on so much with his confidence and speech. We
cannot thank the nursery enough. All the staff are brilliant, and I can’t fault them. They treat all the children like family, which I think is amazing and makes the children feel welcome and content in their care.

My daughter has attended Newhouse Nursery now for just under 12 months. She absolutely loves it and always has a big smile on her face when picking her up. She has come on so well with her talking and counting and amazes us every time she comes home from nursery. All staff are amazing. Always happy,
smiling and welcoming on arrival. Children are always seen doing such fun and creative activities on the famly app which I always look forward to seeing. Newhouse is an amazing nursery and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to put their children in a childcare setting.

My son has attended Newhouse Nursery since September 21. He has settled in so well thanks to the lovely staff who can’t do enough for our son and us.
We find out everything he is doing throughout the day and also the activities he gets up to which he enjoys so much, they are always playing, making
things and going out for walks. I would recommend to anyone. It’s a lovely nursery.

My son comes here, and he is so shy and does not like to leave my side, but when it comes to going to nursery, he gets so excited and happy and cannot wait to go; he loves it there! The staff are amazing with him. If I have any worries or just generally checking in, they are really reassuring, but honestly,
I dont really need to, as I know he is in the best hands.

I have two children at Newhouse, and they have come on so much. From toilet training to road safety, everything is discussed. Nothing is ever too much for them. My eldest moves on to primary this September, and I know the girls will have him (and me) more then ready for his transition. I honestly can't
thank them enough for everything they do, not just for the kids.

Great nursery. My son has gone through from the baby room to preschool and has really flourished at his time there. All the staff have been accommodating and always go above and beyond. The activities and food are very varied, which my son loves.

The Newhouse team are amazing! My little one has been there since a baby - minus a break during Covid! She is now in preschool and absolutely loves it! The team work extremely hard to cater for my little one dietary requirements and support her in her journey! The nursery provides excellent activities
and learning areas to help all children develop!

My daughter Lily has come on leaps and bounds since attending Newhouse. Her speech, potty training, tooth brushing, interaction with other children and everything else in between! I am forever grateful to her key-worker who goes above and beyond for my daughter and I know she is in the best hands in
her care whilst I’m working. I’m also updated daily with her activities, what she’s had for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the app so I'm rest assured she is happy and safe. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

This is a fantastic nursery, with fantastic staff. My daughter loves going to nursery, she talks non stop about the staff and other children. She has really blossomed since she has been going there and has learned so much. The staff take time to get to know each child as an individual and help them

My daughter has been attending Newhouse Nursery since the age of 2 and the staff have always been so friendly and welcoming. In my daughters first year, she would say goodbye, give me a kiss and go off happily with the staff member. We then went through a phase where she didn't want to go and she would
get really upset upon arrival, not wanting me to leave. It was really upsetting to see her so distressed. During this time the staff were fantastic and would work with me to distract her so I could sneak off. 10mins later I'd get a report to say she was fine. Now, my daughter loves it! She talks about her friends and actually names names (unlike a year ago) and tells me regularly that she LOVES her teacher and can't wait to go. Mum guilt has disappeared!

Claire Mills

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2018

Claire is our Nursery Manager at Newhouse.


She is Level 5 qualified, currently studying towards her Childcare Degree.


Claire is the lead First Aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


Claire started at Newhouse Nursery in September 2018 when we first opened, and is a fantastic asset to our team.


She is caring, has fantastic partnerships with both parents and her peers, and is an excellent role model.
Claire has 2 children of her own and always goes that extra mile for our setting.

Olivia Craven

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner Joined: 2019

Olivia is our Baby Room Team Leader and has been a key part of Newhouse since 2019.


She creates fun and exciting opportunities for the children, following on from their interests and has great parent partnerships to establish those secure relationships
