Newhouse Nursery offers children a welcoming and spacious environment filled with exciting ways to learn.

Located on Newhouse Road in Marton, the nursery features a baby room for ages three months to two years, a toddler room for ages two to three as well as a specially designed preschool room for three to five-year-olds.

Additionally, children benefit from a large garden with soft play areas, a veg patch where they can grow their own crops and a construction area.

The emphasis is on unrestricted play and exploration to allow children to build self-confidence and grow into independent learners.

My daughter has developed so much since she started attending in March 2023! She absolutely loves attending and is comfortable with all staff. All activities are very fun and engaging for the children, incorporating all of the children's interests and experiences. All staff are also more than happy
to help with anything, nothing is too much of an ask. We can't thank you enough for the fabulous work you do!

My twins started in October 2022. They love this place and all the staff. They learned a lot and started talking here. They helped us to leave the nappies. The staff was kind, friendly, understanding, and caring.

My grandson enjoys attending Newhouse Nursery. He is in the baby room and likes the practitioners in the room. He is always making pictures to bring home and we get sent lots of photos of him too. He is always very happy when we pick him up.

The girls at Newhouse are amazing. They've settled my daughter in so well and they ensure to keep me updated on the app, which has helped me to adjust with leaving my daughter to go back to work. It's lovely to see what she has been doing and what she's had for her lunch etc. The girls ensure to learn
what my daughter's likes are so they can incorporate those into her nursery days. She's thoroughly enjoying her time there and she's coming on leaps and bounds. I would recommended Newhouse to any one of my friends and family. They really are amazing.

I can’t give Newhouse Nursery enough praise and gratitude for the support they’ve provided to my autistic daughter. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting last year and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, but most of all understanding of every family's circumstances. They
provide the utmost care and compassion for each child and their individual needs. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. My daughter is so happy and gets excited when she arrives, which speaks volumes for a nonverbal child.

My son has now been going to this nursery for almost two years. I am very pleased with the staff. They treat my son as an individual and attend to his needs (we are having some possible learning difficulties investigated). They constantly update me on the things they do with my son and they are always
on hand to listen to me and ensure they can help do anything at nursery to help with routine. My son is always happy to go into nursery and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I feel comfortable leaving my son and know he’s in safe hands. I especially would like to mention the babies room leader who has been amazing with my son since he first started. Although he’s now in toddlers and she’s in the baby room we still feel she’s involved. The manager is great. She’s always updating us parents and shows great enthusiasm in the training of her staff. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience from this nursery and will soon be sending my second child here.

My daughter loves going to nursery, the girls there are amazing, she went there since she was 9 months old. I am especially grateful for the support they give with my girl's potty training at the moment and encouraging all the children to eat healthy snacks, before she wouldn't touch fruit (except banana),
now she loves eating apples and pears and even chose apple over sweets. She sits nicely at the table when it's mealtimes. I can definitely recommend Newhouse Nursery. I am really grateful.

We have loved Newhouse from the first day, one of the most important things in life is knowing your child is in good hands and I can't fault the level of communication from the manager and staff here. From accidents when he falls over a million times a week, to a quick call to make sure he's OK if he's
not there at the normal time (because dad's got the morning off and not told them) messages and pictures throughout the day when he's done something good or just being his cheeky self. Leaves me full of confidence when I'm at work knowing he's happy. All the staff love him the way we do. When we ask him if he's going to nursery he says no I'm going to (his key worker) this melts us. The balance of education and fun is second to none and since the new manager, Newhouse has gone from strength to strength. There is a fantastic deputy and one of the ladies has made a massive impact in the baby room where my son started. We love them all and highly recommend Newhouse to anyone.

Had nothing but positivity from the day my lad started.
All the staff are friendly and he loves school as he calls it.
His speech has come on leaps and bounds, and he gets so excited while getting ready to leave in the morning.
The staff are always welcoming and never had any issues.
Would definitely
recommend it to any parents looking for a nursery.

My little girl is currently transitioning between the baby room and the toddler room. The care and attention she has received from all the team has been exceptional. I get updated on the plans for the day and what that plan is related to skills wise, everything is based on what the children enjoy and

Newhouse nursery is an exceptional nursery. My son has been coming here for 8 months now, he is nearly 2 and In that time I have seen a drastic change in him. He now interacts well with other children, knows all his colours and can count to 5, and can tell me every animal from the farmyard. He can now
sing nursery rhymes and has progressed phenomenally with his speech. The staff here are so welcoming and they genuinely will do anything for you, especially my son's key worker. They go above and beyond to make sure my son is comfortable and I am always relaxed leaving him because I know he is in safe hands. The food is all freshly cooked and there is always a lovely variety. Would not send my child anywhere else, Thankyou Newhouse.

Since my 2-year-old daughter started at this nursery she has come on leaps and bounds. In the last couple of months from starting, her speech has developed drastically, she now eats with her cutlery and is even now using a normal beaker. She is also at the potty training stage and is doing really well.
I'm also very happy with the staff at this nursery and my daughter is always happy with big smiles when she sees them.

Since my son has been attending this nursery (three months) he has improved a lot, he is two and a half years old and due to the past pandemic, he did not know how to play with children and did not communicate with them.
Now he shares toys with kids without jealousy and as soon as he sees children
he immediately wants to play. Surely this nursery is committed to helping my son in socialization. Newhouse is a very clean nursery and the workers are very kind.

Claire Mills

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2018

Claire is our Nursery Manager at Newhouse.


She is Level 5 qualified, currently studying towards her Childcare Degree.


Claire is the lead First Aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


Claire started at Newhouse Nursery in September 2018 when we first opened and is a fantastic asset to our team.


She is caring, has fantastic partnerships with both parents and her peers, and is an excellent role model.
Claire has 2 children of her own and always goes that extra mile for our setting.

Kerrie-Lee

Kerrie-Lee Baigent

Job Title: Deputy Manager/Pre-School Team Leader Joined: 2019

Kerrie-Lee has worked in the company since 2019. She started as an apprentice and has completed her Levels 2 and 3 with us. She has now taken on the role of Deputy Manager alongside Team Leader within the Pre-School room.


She works hard to ensure the children are ready for their transition into primary school. She has implemented lots of new and exciting things to bring the children along and create more structure.

Alice has been an apprentice with us for a few years and is close to completing her Level 2 Childcare qualification. She is a big part of the Newhouse family and creates so many wonderful learning opportunities within her role in the toddler room. Alice has recently won Nursery Apprentice of the year across the 16 MI Child settings.

Michelle has been with the company for a few years in a sister setting before coming to Newhouse in 2019. She previously worked as our Preschool Team leader but stepped down due to family commitments. She now lends her knowledge to the lower nursery.

Olivia has been a key part of Newhouse since 2019. She has recently come back from maternity leave and is ready and raring to go in the Pre-School room. Olivia creates fun and exciting opportunities for the children following on from their interests.

Sophie is a big part of our team based in the preschool room. She is one of our long-standing members of staff.
