My 2 year old daughter has been attending Newhouse Nursery from an early age and her development has been commendable. When I arrive to collect her I can see that the atmosphere and activities are excellent. The staff in the nursery have been fantastic and very tentative with the children's needs.
I love using the app to see what activities my daughter has been up to and what creative meals and snacks she has been eating throughout the day. I really can't fault this nursery or recommend it enough.

Newhouse nursery all the staff are wonderful and truly care for my little boy. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery.
The meals are healthy and encourage him to try new things which is great! Constantly updated on the app, all in all a fantastic nursery I couldn't fault it.

I have had both of my children flourish through the care of the staff at Newhouse. My daughter is 2 and currently attends Newhouse and has done since she was 9 months old. It is a fabulous nursery and I am so grateful for all that they do. There are regular updates on the app regarding food, toilet
trips and activities. They are very thorough when it comes to accidents or if communication is needed to parents. None of my children have ever cried being dropped off at Newhouse and have always gone in with smiles and have been excited on the way each morning- which makes drop offs so much more pleasant knowing how happy they are. They provide a great variety of food and mealtimes to encourage healthy options and update the app to show what the children have eaten. I am really grateful for the care and compassion of the staff, they are approachable and understanding when ever they are needed for help or advice. I know that my daughter is in great hands.

The staff are amazing here at Newhouse Nursery, my little boy had recently started in Feb 2025 and I was anxious about it but the staff have been amazing and my little boy is really enjoying the nursery & all the activities which they do with him.

I am really happy with the nursery, the staff have been excellent with my daughter. Her confidence has grown since she started pre-school and has made some friends, she always mentions the girls at home and what she has been up to. Absolutely fantastic nursery! Great little nursery with wonderful staff who give the children the confidence and skills to go onto big school. My daughter hates being apart from me but some of the nursery staff are her best friends so she is absolutely fine as soon as she sees them.

My daughter has developed so much since she started attending in March 2023! She absolutely loves attending and is comfortable with all staff. All activities are very fun and engaging for the children, incorporating all of the children's interests and experiences. All staff are also more than happy

I can’t give Newhouse Nursery enough praise and gratitude for the support they’ve provided to my autistic daughter. She has come on leaps and bounds since starting last year and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, but most of all understanding of every family's circumstances. They
provide the utmost care and compassion for each child and their individual needs. I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for us. My daughter is so happy and gets excited when she arrives, which speaks volumes for a nonverbal child.

My son has now been going to this nursery for almost two years. I am very pleased with the staff. They treat my son as an individual and attend to his needs (we are having some possible learning difficulties investigated). They constantly update me on the things they do with my son and they are always
on hand to listen to me and ensure they can help do anything at nursery to help with routine. My son is always happy to go into nursery and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I feel comfortable leaving my son and know he’s in safe hands. I especially would like to mention the babies room leader who has been amazing with my son since he first started. Although he’s now in toddlers and she’s in the baby room we still feel she’s involved. The manager is great. She’s always updating us parents and shows great enthusiasm in the training of her staff. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience from this nursery and will soon be sending my second child here.

My daughter loves going to nursery, the girls there are amazing, she went there since she was 9 months old. I am especially grateful for the support they give with my girl's potty training at the moment and encouraging all the children to eat healthy snacks, before she wouldn't touch fruit (except banana),
now she loves eating apples and pears and even chose apple over sweets. She sits nicely at the table when it's mealtimes. I can definitely recommend Newhouse Nursery. I am really grateful.

We have loved Newhouse from the first day, one of the most important things in life is knowing your child is in good hands and I can't fault the level of communication from the manager and staff here. From accidents when he falls over a million times a week, to a quick call to make sure he's OK if he's
not there at the normal time (because dad's got the morning off and not told them) messages and pictures throughout the day when he's done something good or just being his cheeky self. Leaves me full of confidence when I'm at work knowing he's happy. All the staff love him the way we do. When we ask him if he's going to nursery he says no I'm going to (his key worker) this melts us. The balance of education and fun is second to none and since the new manager, Newhouse has gone from strength to strength. There is a fantastic deputy and one of the ladies has made a massive impact in the baby room where my son started. We love them all and highly recommend Newhouse to anyone.

Had nothing but positivity from the day my lad started.
All the staff are friendly and he loves school as he calls it.
His speech has come on leaps and bounds, and he gets so excited while getting ready to leave in the morning.
The staff are always welcoming and never had any issues.
Would definitely
recommend it to any parents looking for a nursery.

Job Title: Manager Joined: 2018

Claire is our Nursery Manager at Newhouse.


She is Level 5 qualified, currently studying towards her Childcare Degree.


Claire is the lead First Aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead.


Claire started at Newhouse Nursery in September 2018 when we first opened, and is a fantastic asset to our team.


She is caring, has fantastic partnerships with both parents and her peers, and is an excellent role model.
Claire has 2 children of her own and always goes that extra mile for our setting.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner Joined: 2019

Olivia is our Baby Room Team Leader and has been a key part of Newhouse since 2019.


She creates fun and exciting opportunities for the children, following on from their interests and has great parent partnerships to establish those secure relationships
