Rainbow Day Nursery West Wickham

Our daughter started Rainbows Nursery in September 2025 and the change in her since then is amazing. She went from not wanting to go in with tears every morning, to now where she gets so excited every time we mention nursery and can't wait to run in the door! The staff are all friendly & the app is also great to have for updates. Would highly recommend.

Rainbows Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery, my son has attended since July 2022 and we cannot fault them. The staff are wonderful, so friendly, caring and genuinely love what they do, as a parent it is so comforting to know your child is in safe hands and happy. The activities the children do are fun, stimulating and well thought through with lots of time spent outside in the garden. The children are at the centre of all the team do, we couldn't be happier with the nursery. Thank you.

My son started here in March when he was 12 months. The staff are great, the managers are really helpful and managed to find us a space after moving to the area mid way through the year. My son seems happy and gets up to lots of fun and stimulating activities during the day. The space (especially the outside space) is great too and allows the children loads of space to get out and play. We have already signed up our second son to start in January!

Rainbows is such a brilliant nursery. Our daughter really enjoys her time there and is excited to go in to see her friends and staff each day. The staff are really engaged and are extremely creative with all of the activities that they do each day. The activities are also a great balance of educational and fun. The staff also create lovely relationships with the children and really take on board their different interests and personalities. Our daughter is in brilliant hands.

My son joined Rainbow Day Nursery, West Wickham in April 2024 after 2 settling in sessions that we both attended at the end of March. I knew this nursery was the right one for my son when he happily went off to play during these sessions. My son settled really well and has since been happy to go to nursery in the morning. He is always excited to see the nursery worker who collects him from the entrance in the morning and runs over to them shouting their name. He is always happy when I collect him and is excited to tell me about his day. My overall experience with Rainbow Day Nursery has been a great one and I'd be sad to see my son move on when it's time for school.

My little boy started in September and absolutely loves it. He walks into nursery happy and full of smiles. All the staff are lovely and welcoming to the children and parents - which is very comforting. You are continuously updated throughout the day via their app and they're always full of support and reassurance at pick up/ drop off. You can honestly feel the homeliness within the rooms and the care the staff have towards the children.

Our daughter loves it so much, we are sending our second child there too.

Great range of activities and food given. Like how they incorporate events like Diwali and Chinese new year in the curriculum.

I and my child love the nursery. The staff listen and respond promptly to any queries raised. Since my child has been attending, I have seen the developments she has been making on a continuous basis.

Rainbow Day Nursery West Wickham are incredibly friendly and our little boy settled in straight away. He’s now been there for 6 months and all the staff (either in his room or others) greet him with a smile each morning and he smiles back. He loves eating all kinds of fun foods they serve up and playing great games that all come from their weekly curriculum. The staff keep us updated via app and phone of everything that we need to know and are always happy to accommodate eg. switching from breastmilk to formula to cow milk. Would highly recommend as a great nursery.

My son started at Rainbow day nursery just after lockdown so naturally, he was quite shy and reserved because of this the idea of nursery worried me. However, after his first day, the weeks flew by and I was pleasantly surprised about how he began to come out of his shell and was much more confident. All staff members are so friendly and engaging and really take interest in each and every child individually and it's great to see the bond my son has built with them. My mind is always at ease knowing my son is well looked after by a great team who genuinely cares about him and his learning and development!

My daughter has been at rainbow now for six months and absolutely loves it. The staff are always so polite and friendly, and it gives me and my wife a huge amount of comfort to know she's being looked after so well.

I can't thank Rainbow enough for creating an atmosphere that the kids clearly enjoy but also learn a huge amount too.

We were let down by another nursery in lockdown and needed to find childcare at short notice due to my imminent return to work. We met with the Nursery Manager who provided lots of information about the nursery and accommodated my son now two at very short notice. The nursery has a real empathy toward children in its care and takes time to get to know them in order to bring out the best in them. My son is very happy and settled and has also developed his communication and fine motor skills since being at nursery. He loves going to nursery each day to see his friends and the staff. The days are well structured with lots of variety in activities with good secure outdoor space for children to explore nature and the nursery serves a balance of healthy and nutritious food with an on-site chef making fresh food daily. I really couldn’t fault Rainbow Day nursery and am very happy with the outstanding care provided to my son.

This is the 3rd year for our child. The nursery continues to provide a great support and learning framework for our child. The management team are positive and accommodating, they run an excellent nursery.

The staff genuinely care about the children, who I see are happy and smiley as they run out to their parents when I go to pick up my boy.

Cedars is particularly outstanding, however, elders have been the making of our child.

This nursery has a unique outdoor space where children can indulge their curiosity, learn and expand their social skills.

As a dad who has an energetic boy, I cannot recommend this nursery enough. I speak to the other dads who don’t have a bad word to say.

My son started at Rainbow Day Nursery West Wickham in July 2021, he was a Covid baby who had barely been with anyone else and the settling in period was great. The staff are all so warm and helpful and really look after my son well. He struts into nursery sometimes not even looking back at me because he loves it so much. The food is great, the care is at a very high standard and always happy to adapt the care where necessary. I highly recommend Rainbow Day Nursery West Wickham and that is coming from an anxious mum who has very high standards when it comes to nursery care! Thank you Rainbows

I cannot fault this nursery. My daughter (2) doesn’t look back when I drop her off. The staff are very caring, friendly and professional. Management and staff keep you well informed via an app and emails and chats at pick up. The prices are fair. Great spaces indoors and outdoors. They have a well rounded healthy menu and a large variety of interactive activities inside and outside. Also very secure with intercom gated entrance and key fobbed doors.

Such a fabulous nursery! Finding a nursery in lockdown was a huge challenge. It was hard to decide on Rainbow Day Nursery West Wickham because it had only just opened but meeting the Manager and Assistant Manager gave me such comfort. They genuinely cared and were very reassuring. They have accommodated pretty much all of our requests with regards to food (would love more organic foods if possible) and even got the children involved in making oat milk! So impressed by the toys and drive to use natural resources as much as possible! The variety of activities is brilliant and our daughter speaks (and sings!) really well because of her interactions with the fantastic staff. The daily updates are great and feedback at the end of the day is very personal. Currently doing an incredible job trying to get her to potty train and have been very supportive with that process. Covid has presented huge challenges for everyone and Rainbow Day Nursery West have dealt with it brilliantly. Our little one is well loved and cared for. Thank you!
