Located on the multi-award winning indoor play site Ocean Adventurers, Little Adventures Nursery, has the best of both worlds - an intimate nursery setting with exclusive use of one of the South West's largest and highest rated indoor play settings at certain times of the day.

But they're not all about the indoor aspects, they also have two purpose-built outdoor areas comprising of a magnetic water wall, pirate ship, beach house, planting area, den-making area, reading corner and many more facilities.

Part of the Family Adventures group of companies, all children who attend for the equivalent of two whole days also get a free annual pass to the multi-award-winning Ocean Adventurers, Cheddar & Space Adventurers, Taunton indoor play sites.

We couldn't of picked a better setting for our son! The staff and the setting are wonderful. Our son is thriving since starting at Little Adventurers. He loves to put his nursery uniform on and runs to the door of the nursery when we arrive, always a good sign! The parent app is nothing I've ever come
across before, and is a fantastic way of seeing what our sone gets up to in the day and seeing photos of him having fun with all his friends. Thank you all for the wonderful care our son gets.

Great staff, clean facilities and just what we needed. The staff are so accommodating and my son now runs in with a smile on his face! They helped celebrate his 1st birthday and made him feel so special and he has made lots of new friends. Being born in lockdown and during a pandemic I was so worried
but all those worries have gone away and I couldn't recommend them more.

We are delighted with Little Adventures nursery. Our 13 month old daughter is happy and thriving there.
We like the use of the Famly App which is utilised to keep us up to date on her activities (indoor and outdoor), naps and food. The observations are personal and frequent and we can tell that the
staff really care for her. The activities are interesting, varied and themed and we’re encouraged to continue the themes at home.
The staff are personable, friendly and flexible and offer a nurturing environment.
Overall, an outstanding nursery that we happily recommend.

My son has settled in really quickly with the help and support of all the staff.
He really enjoys the range of activities he has throughout the day.
We get updates throughout the day on what he is doing on the app.
He never wants to come home after a day at nursery, which is always a good sign!
Highly recommend!

Angelene Mccormack

Job Title: Head of Audits and Training Joined: 2022

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.


My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
