Our daughter has been at Little Adventures for five months now and we are so happy with the progress she has made developmentally. The staff are great at listening to us as her parents and make such an effort to implement her favourite things/activities away from home - a huge comfort to us! We get regular updates and messages, queries or concerns are replied to and/or addressed promptly and concisely. Despite being unable to vocalise yet, It is clear when we drop her off that she is happy there and when we get the daily summary she evidently feels very, very comfortable. Regular access to the soft play will inevitably continue to be a novelty, great focus on encouraging children to reach their specific goals and really pleased with the wide objectives met with the app. As first-time parents we weren't very confident about what to expect but Little Adventures have made us feel like nothing is too much trouble. Sending my little girl to Little Adventures Nursery Cheddar was the best decision I have made. Her development since she has started is incredible and they continue to do this each day she attends the nursery. The regular reports with the staff and daily updates are very useful and comforting as a parent as it's so regularly updated. All of the staff are so caring and supportive to both children and parents and they really do have the children's best interest at heart. They do a range of activities inside and out of nursery such as walks round the town which is something not many nurseries offer. They provide a very fun, supportive environment.

My daughter is absolutely happy when she is in a group of children and teachers. As a mother, I like to attitude towards children and the approach to teaching despite the fact that my daughter is the only Ukrainian in the kindergarten she has no problem with communications.

Excessive high staff turnover is unsettling for the children, coupled with either lack of Health & Safety training or once their training is completed staff are under so much pressure they fail to put basic safeguarding in place. Thank you for your review. We are disappointed with your review as we have spoken before about your high level concerns and you have not been able to provide any further information. You told us that you had heard concerns from another parent, but would not provide that parent's name or what the concerns were. We have received no other reports or concerns around the time you reported this six months' ago. All of our teams receive in-depth H&S training that is continuously updated. We take safeguarding very seriously and as a result of your initial concerns, we conducted a full independent audit of the nursery and surveyed all parents to try to find out for ourselves if there were any areas of concern. We did not find any and no other parents reported any concerns through the anonymous survey. We are therefore disappointed that you have felt the need to submit this review 3 months' after leaving our setting without allowing us to properly investigate your concerns.

Fantastic nursery with caring staff, a wide variety of activities for the children, lots of tasty food and plenty of time in the soft play! My son has developed in himself so much since going to Little Adventures. I love our daily updates at handover and photos of what they have been getting up to on the app. His days are always fun packed and varied, plus he is always happy to go in to nursery in the mornings too, he gets excited when he sees the staff! My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.
My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
