Located on the multi-award winning indoor play site Ocean Adventurers, Little Adventures Nursery, has the best of both worlds - an intimate nursery setting with exclusive use of one of the South West's largest and highest rated indoor play settings at certain times of the day.

But they're not all about the indoor aspects, they also have two purpose-built outdoor areas comprising of a magnetic water wall, pirate ship, beach house, planting area, den-making area, reading corner and many more facilities.

Part of the Family Adventures group of companies, all children who attend for the equivalent of two whole days also get a free annual pass to the multi-award-winning Ocean Adventurers, Cheddar & Space Adventurers, Taunton indoor play sites.

Little Adventures Cheddar has exceeded our expectations. All of the staff are so caring and supportive. Our son has built up so much confidence since joining.
Communication from staff and management is wonderful. Daily updates of what the children have been up to is informative and shows all the creative
resources used to develop children in fun and interactive play. Cheddar has given our son a fun, supportive and nurturing environment surrounded by such lovely staff, where nothing is too much trouble. The staff go above and beyond to develop children and help them thrive.

My son goes to Little Adventure Nursery in Cheddar 3 days a week and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all brilliant and are all aware of my son’s needs and goals. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting at this nursery and me and his father can see a massive improvement in his everyday

My daughter is absolutely happy when she is in a group of children and teachers. As a mother, I like to attitude towards children and the approach to teaching despite the fact that my daughter is the only Ukrainian in the kindergarten she has no problem with communications.

Staff are always so lovely and caring towards my daughter. My daughter has allergies and these are always catered for. Lovely facilities and lovely they can get out and explore the community. This nursery was excellent before they decided to grow far too quickly. Excessive high staff turnover is unsettling for the children, coupled with either lack of Health & Safety training or once their training is completed staff are under so much pressure they fail to put basic safeguarding in place.
Such a shame as 2 years ago my rating would have been significantly different.

You told us that you had heard concerns from another parent, but would not provide that parent's name or what the concerns were. We have received no other reports or concerns around the time you reported this six months' ago. All of our teams receive in-depth H&S training that is continuously updated. We take safeguarding very seriously and as a result of your initial concerns, we conducted a full independent audit of the nursery and surveyed all parents to try to find out for ourselves if there were any areas of concern. We did not find any and no other parents reported any concerns through the anonymous survey. We are therefore disappointed that you have felt the need to submit this review 3 months' after leaving our setting without allowing us to properly investigate your concerns.

Fantastic nursery with caring staff, a wide variety of activities for the children, lots of tasty food and plenty of time in the soft play! My son has developed in himself so much since going to Little Adventures. I love our daily updates at handover and photos of what they have been getting up to
on the app. His days are always fun packed and varied, plus he is always happy to go in to nursery in the mornings too, he gets excited when he sees the staff! Highly recommended nursery 100%.

My daughter really loves coming here to nursery and has been attending for almost a year now. They provide daily updates and photos from the varied activities she does there and gets a six-monthly report update on how she is developing.
The food she is provided with is varied and the nursery staff
are all brilliant with her. Highly recommend it !

My son is really cared for and has settled in really well. The updates I get throughout the day make me feel involved and the debrief at pick up lets me know everything else my son has been up to. He has a wide range of healthy food and snacks too!

My grandchild has attended nursery here for almost a year now. From the word go, she was welcomed by all the wonderful members of staff, who are all so enthusiastic and warm. To me, what a small child really needs is to feel safe and loved. That is exactly what this nursery has made her feel! She runs

Our son loves attending Little Adventures nursery. As first time parents, leaving your child with strangers is hard but the staff instantly made us feel relaxed and as if we were leaving him with family friends. He has since formed some lovely bonds with these wonderful staff members. We love the app
to keep us updated on his activities, meals and naps throughout the day. We are sent regular observations regarding his development and a weekly review video which is just lovely to watch. Every single thing they do has the children's happiness and wellbeing at heart. Would highly recommend.

Our granddaughter is doing very well at this nursery. It is lovely to be able to check in on the app and see how she is doing throughout the day, and to see the wonderful photos that have been posted with what she has been doing. She is learning to play with her peers and interacting well. She is enjoying

Job Title: Head of Audits and Training Joined: 2022

My name is Angelene and I have over 25 years’ experience working within the Early Years Sector. My main experience has been within Nursery settings where I have run busy, Baby Toddler and Pre-Schools rooms. For the past 14 years, I have had Leadership and Management roles including managing a 100 place Ofsted Outstanding Nursery. My experience has enabled me to support, mentor and train staff. I have worked for Little Adventures Nurseries since June 2022. My role is to develop staff training, this is implemented through e-learning modules, company-wide inset days, in-house training for individual settings and specialist training days at our designated Training Hub. I have also obtained my First Aid Instructor qualification so I can ensure all our staff are paediatric first aid trained and confident to administer first aid.


My role also includes visiting each nursery at least bi-annually to complete Quality Audits against our company policies and values as well as the Ofsted Grade Descriptors. This part of my role is invaluable face-to-face training to our teams as well as giving quality assurance to our families that our nurseries are sustaining the highest quality of care and standards.
