Our child started at the nursery at 12 months and, while they took some time to settle, the keyworker and staff were very good at keeping us updated and reassured throughout. In the early weeks our child was frequently unwell, resulting in missed sessions. It's worth being aware that the full cost,
including consumables, is still chargeable in these cases. Possibly due to this disrupted start, our child has taken a little longer to build confidence, but the staff have consistently been caring, patient, and supportive.
The rooms are quite small, however the adjoining soft play area is used extremely well and is a real benefit. Food choices are varied and well planned, and the option for ad-hoc sessions has been very useful when flexibility is needed. The app works well for updates and messaging, and we enjoy seeing photos of our child, although these have become less frequent recently. Overall, a supportive and well-run nursery with thoughtful staff.

Little adventurers has been nothing short of amazing. My little girl has thrived since she started. The staff are warm, friendly individuals, and genuinely care about the children. I love seeing them all and having a little catch up at pick up and drop off, and trust them all wholeheartedly with my
child. I recommend this nursery to all of my local mum friends. My daughter's speech and development is really noticeable since starting nursery! I couldn't recommend this nursery any more highly.

Our daughter started at Little Adventures at 11 months old, and the team made the transition incredibly welcoming and comfortable. Any settling-in hurdles were handled with such gentleness and patience, making the process easier for the whole family. As parents, we feel fully supported; no question
is ever too much, and we are always greeted with genuine smiles.
The communication is excellent. We are constantly updated on milestones, so we never feel like we're missing out. Since starting, her language and overall development have flourished. She absolutely loves going, and it is clear the staff truly love working with the children.
The activities are well-thought-out and vary daily, offering a wide range of learning experiences. I especially appreciate the weekly updates for extra insight into their fun. Additionally, the food menu is fantastic-it's well-planned and introduces her to many new flavors. We cannot wait for our youngest to join next year and thrive just like her sister!

This nursery is by far the best nursery I've ever sent my children to. I have noticed my children thrive from coming here and always come home with smiles on their faces. One of my children does have additional needs which the nursery staff have adapted amazingly to the staff are so nurturing and
supportive, and they provide him with so much care, attention and positivity. It has been amazing to watch his confidence grow. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and are always at hand to answer any questions or queries I may have. I can't thank them enough for all the help and support they have given to me and my children.

My daughter started at Little Adventurers nearly a year ago. The staff are absolutely amazing - always happy, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Communication is excellent - we're always kept in the loop with updates, activities, and progress. The activities are varied, creative, and tailored to
support my daughter's development. Food menu is healthy, varied and nutritious. Overall it is a wonderful nursery that I would highly recommend to any parent.

My daughter started at Ocean Adventurers Cheddar at 18 months. The staff were very supportive in supporting her transition into childcare with settling in sessions, regular updates and great communication so I felt she was being really well looked after. All the staff are welcoming, warm and
professional and have a genuine fondness of working with children and supporting their development and learning. My daughter loves going to nursery, is always happy to be dropped off and get stuck in. Her development in confidence, motor skills and language have really come on since starting at Ocean Adventurers. The staff put a great deal of effort into making sure each day is full of creative activities, arts & crafts, singing & dancing, outside play and local trips - and provide detailed updates at the end of each day with photos. In addition, we receive monthly updates on the development of our daughter and what they'll be focussing on next. Outside space is small but well kitted out.

We've been so happy with the care our daughter has received over the past 2½ years. She is always well looked after and has really come out of her shell since starting, constantly growing, she absolutely loves everyone there!
It's lovely to see how much she's learning. She often comes home and
recreates scenarios or activities from her day, which shows just how engaged she is. Her eating habits is as she was at home so it's clear she feels happy and settled.
The management team are always available and approachable, both in the mornings and evenings, which is really reassuring. I've never had any issues, but it's still nice to have a friendly chat and feel that personal connection.
What's also been really lovely is the consistency, after all this time, many of the same staff are still there, continuing to care for our daughter. That stability has meant a lot to us as parents.
Thank you to the whole team for creating such a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment.

We've had a wonderful experience with Little Adventures Nursery Cheddar. The staff are helpful & friendly, especially the manager, making us feel right at home as soon as we walk through the door.
The environment is vibrant and engaging, with plenty of educational activities.
The exceptional care
and attention given to each child is a standout feature. The staff in my Son's room are passionate about their roles, ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and valued, as well as tailoring their approach to each child's needs and interests.
Communication with parents is excellent, with regular updates on our child's progress and an open line for any questions or concerns.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. Little Adventures has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their child.

My son has been going to this nursery since March this year. Leaving your baby with someone who is effectively a stranger is very scary. The team here are excellent! Very caring, happy to go with little things to make him feel more at home like having his blanket with him all day if he wants. The
app keeps me updated on exactly what he's doing during the day in respect of how much he's eaten, nappy changes, sleep times etc. One of the team always gives me an update on what sort of day he has which is also very comforting that he is getting the right care when i'm at work.
My son is always happy to go to nursery, in a short space of time he has gone from being nervous and a few tears when being handed over to the team to full of smiles and loving his day!!.

I couldn't rate the nursery enough. I know when I drop my child off he is in safe hands and well looked after. He's kept busy all day and love that I can see what he's up to, when he's napped, what's he ate etc. Everyone is super friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile.

My daughter started nursery at the age of 9 months and as most mums are. I was extremely nervous. I also am diagnosed with ocd and anxiety so for me this was very worrying. The nursery went above and beyond to make sure not only my daughter was happy but also myself! No questions were ever enough!
Always very quick to reply. Made sure I was okay as well as my daughter and always make us feel so welcome at nursery! You really can tell they care about the children and do their best to help them learn and have fun! My daughter actually looks forward to nursery and loves all the staff! They recently had world book day and the staff really went all out in their fancy dress. They always keep on top of everything from the app to giving you updates through the day and always on hand to contact! I've recommended many of my friends to cheddar and without a doubt feel very happy with the staff and nursery!

My daughter has been going to Little Adventures nursery in Cheddar for just over three years. The nursery is a wonderful, welcoming setting with lots to offer. The staff are incredible and always go the extra mile to ensure the children are happy. Every member of staff says hello and we are welcomed
with genuine care and kindness. My daughter has thrived here and her development since starting has been amazing.
The nursery provides access to soft play, outings and a wide range of age appropriate activities. The food provided is always healthy and my daughter thoroughly enjoys her meals. Big shout out to the wonderful management team and the staff in the big adventurers room - you are all incredible and we appreciate all the time and effort you put into caring for our daughter. Sending our child here was the best decision. Thank you for everything!

A lovely team who genuinely care and go above and beyond to make sure you feel your child is well looked after, happy and in good hands. Always kept up to date via the Family app when it comes to meals, naps, nappies etc as well as daily updates/pictures of what the day has involved. Would
definitely recommend to anyone thinking about sending their child to Little Adventures Nursery (Cheddar).

From starting 3 months ago, until now, my son has grown in confidence and understanding of social situations and daily routine. This was the main thing I was hoping for from Nursery, and seeing that he was happy, which he certainly is when he comes home.
They have quickly accommodated his
development by moving him to a class with older children, which made a big difference in his speech, eating and enthusiasm for going to Nursery when he does.
The staff are all very nice and I feel my son's needs are met. The Nursery environment itself always seems clean and organised too.

Our daughter has been at Little Adventures for five months now and we are so happy with the progress she has made developmentally. The staff are great at listening to us as her parents and make such an effort to implement her favourite things/activities away from home - a huge comfort to us! We get
regular updates and messages, queries or concerns are replied to and/or addressed promptly and concisely. Despite being unable to vocalise yet, It is clear when we drop her off that she is happy there and when we get the daily summary she evidently feels very, very comfortable. Regular access to the soft play will inevitably continue to be a novelty, great focus on encouraging children to reach their specific goals and really pleased with the wide objectives met with the app. As first-time parents we weren't very confident about what to expect but Little Adventures have made us feel like nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all!

An outstanding nursery team. The registration and settling-in process was hitch-free. Communication with the team is seamless on the app. I like how we work together to develop a clearly defined plan for the child tailored to their needs. Part of the plan for my child when she started 3 months ago
was to improve her speech where she clearly was not meeting her milestones. With support from team members some of whom have training in this area, there has been a significant improvement in her vocabulary and confidence using words. They also initiated a speech and language therapy referral. Lots of well-thought-out activities and having a large soft play area is a big bonus!
Staff always cheerful and positive even at the end of a very long day. Highly recommend this nursery!

Sending my little girl to Little Adventures Nursery Cheddar was the best decision I have made. Her development since she has started is incredible and they continue to do this each day she attends the nursery. The regular reports with the staff and daily updates are very useful and comforting as a
parent as it's so regularly updated. All of the staff are so caring and supportive to both children and parents and they really do have the children's best interest at heart. They do a range of activities inside and out of nursery such as walks round the town which is something not many nurseries offer. They provide a very fun, supportive environment.

All the staff are so lovely and they all take great care of our two daughters. They both always have a lovely day and get on really well with the staff. If there are any issues whilst they are under the care of the staff team, we are notified straight away. We couldn't be more happy and pleased to

The staff at Little Adventures in Cheddar are exceptional. Leaving our first child with anyone is tough, but it is comforting to know how well looked after she is. The events, the updates on the app, the information at handovers and communication generally is excellent. I cannot express how pleased
my wife and I are with the level of service.
