Manor House Day Care

Outstanding provision. My son loves going there and has a great relationship with the staff. The settling process was very smooth and we were given as much time as needed. Everybody is super helpful and accommodating. 10 out of 10!

My child attends after school club. He really enjoys going. Always comes out smiling. They offer lots of different activities and games to the children. The staff are all lovely. They are always extremely responsive to me as a parent and incredibly friendly and professional. They also have been really good at communicating when there are any issues. I do not have a bad word to say and am so glad to be able to use this service.

My daughter started in the baby room at Manor House Day Care and has almost completed the whole journey, through the toddler site and is now about to graduate from the pre-school site! Manor House Day Care has offered fantastic provision across all of the settings and has set her up perfectly, ready for reception! She has been happy and looked forward to going in every day. The staff are experienced, caring and knowledgeable. She’s been appropriately challenged throughout, and all areas of learning have been covered. We’re updated weekly about what they’re learning about (phonics, number, shape, colours). The family app is great for updates and communication/announcements. We’re now thoroughly looking forward to the graduation ceremony! Overall, we can’t recommend Manor House Day Care enough!

My son has been at this nursery and pre-school since he was two years of age, he absolutely loves it! The team are really great. We've signed up to the breakfast club and after school for when he starts school in September.

The team are amazing! I would recommend them to anyone because they are so wonderful with the children with a consistent team who always provide feedback. We use the wrap around care as my son is in year two but I would recommend the holiday camps as well.

Manor House Day Care was recommended to me by a coworker and I could not have made a better choice. It is an absolutely lovely environment and my son loves going there. Within a few days, he was settled and he enjoys being there very much.

My son attended the setting from 4 months to 3.5 years. He has been well cared for and well taught in his time at Manor House Day Care. As parents, we have been kept informed at each stage by kind and engaged staff. It is an excellent nursery!

Great nursery and pre-school. All teachers are amazing, attentive to detail and fun for children. Cost is the best in the area and always flexible if needed extra days etc. Our family is beyond happy with the choice we made over 2 years ago!

We’ve had a really great experience with Manor House Day Care since my son started there at 10 months old. He’s been so happy in their baby room and gets on so well with all the staff who are so caring. Lovely small setting which has been perfect for our little boy. They also do a very sweet parents' evening which was really appreciated. Highly recommend!

Fantastic nursery. My daughter is extremely happy here. All the staff are amazing and I love how they move up to different rooms as they grow, so they are only around children of their own age. Great communication with parents too. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My third son is now in the nursery at Manor House Day Care. My three children have all attended over the past 3 years and I am so thankful for all the setting does to look after my children, provide a warm and caring environment for them, and plan their days to allow them to flourish. The staff are excellent; very approachable and professional. I would unreservedly recommend Manor House Day Care.

The staff here are very caring and my children love going to the after-school club. There are loads of activities plus outdoor sports within the enclosed area of the park. They actually prefer this to the school after-school option!

Awesome daycare. My son loves it here, staff are caring and supportive. Children are happy, well developed and entertained. My son regularly comes home with little projects he’s done. Lots of celebration. Mutual support to bring out the best and support for when things get challenging.

My son simply loved the nursery. The staff are really attentive and interested in helping my son with his speech delay. I wish I had found this place when he was 2. Thank you for all your support and patience, we’ll never forget it.

Friendly, communicative and caring staff doing their best.

We are so happy that we chose Manor House Day Care for our daughter. It is well organised, flexible and the communication via the app is great. They give regular feedback on activities that our daughter has enjoyed and they update us on meals and snacks. The food is good value and they have a good attitude to healthy eating. They have taken great care to cater to our daughter's food allergy. The staff are always smiling, full of energy and seemingly endless ideas. They often have different themes that they explore with arts and crafts and games, as well as literacy and numeracy. Aside from learning in readiness for school, our daughter has thrived with their structure and rounded teaching about manners, sharing and listening.

I agree with all of the comments published earlier on this site, it is a really nice set up and ticks all of the boxes on every parent's wish list! The staff are brilliant and we had no problem with settling in our daughter into the nursery room, as she felt comfortable almost straight away. We found their rates very reasonable and were pleasantly surprised by the use of a mobile phone app, which staff use to post regular updates with images and videos. Last but not the least, no other facility in the area can beat Manor House Day Care on their location. The main site is set in the grounds of Manor House Gardens which is one of the best parks in the area with plenty of wildlife and open space for the children to enjoy. My daughter has been having daily walks in the park, which she very much enjoys!

Our daughter goes to the preschool and she loves it. We are very happy to see her enjoying it. She has learned a lot, every day she comes with something she has made. We receive updates and pictures during the day about the activities they are doing and at pick-up time teachers always give us a summary of what happened. The whole team is great! Premises are in a newly refurbished hall with a generous garden where children can play on soft toys, plants, run and cycle.

They have been a great nursery and preschool. The staff are very caring and it feels like a happy, friendly place to drop our son off at in the morning. He is enjoying his time there, especially the creative activities and outings to the park. All the staff know our son by name and he has really improved in confidence during his time there. We think it is lovely day care.

The staff are always available to discuss the child's day and out in place a lot of specific strategies to support the child's progress. Outdoor activities are an important part of the children day, and they encourage the children to be curious. The nursery provides a very nurturing and caring environment.
