The Learning Experience provides childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years old in East Finchley, London.

The centre is purpose-built and features an interactive classroom, a colourful miniature high street, age-appropriate play rooms and a spacious playground.

The team follow the EYFS curriculum to support children to meet their social, physical and academic development goals.

The centre has its own unique animated characters, introduced based on scientific finding that characters help children to engage in learning. Each character has a particular strength to inspire children, such as Lionstein the lion who loves science and a fitness instructor flamingo. They even have characters to aid with language skills in Spanish and Mandarin.

My son attended The Learning Experience for almost a year until we moved to a different borough. I cannot emphasise enough how sad we were to leave The Learning Experience and personally, I found it the hardest part of our move for a number of reasons: the management and staff were like a second family
to us, always ensuring our wishes and concerns about our son were listened to and addressed swiftly; we loved the smaller classes as we felt our son received the right level of attention and engagement; the curriculum for every class was well thought out, interactive and interesting every single day; the management were very involved and hands-on and genuinely cared about the well being of the children. As a result of that, our son thrived there and his confidence along with his social and linguistic skills massively increased. I cannot recommend The Learning Experience enough and I couldn't be more grateful to the team for everything they have done for us.

We came across this nursery by chance, almost two years ago when it first opened. We enrolled our daughter and it was the best decision we have made for her. The team of management and her class teachers are truly amazing at what they do. Every one of them showed genuine kindness and you get a sense
of love and security for your child. The facilities in the nursery are of excellent quality and the activities are very well thought out. The curriculum is built around bubbly characters that young children can relate to and this is a great way to learn. The nursery chef cooks nutritious and tasty meals (so my daughter tells me!). She has thrived both intellectually and socially, became more confident and always comes out with a smile, buzzing to tell us about her day! I am proud to say that The Learning Experience nursery has been her home away from home. I would definitely recommend them to all parents who are looking for a safe, nurturing and fun environment for their child.

An amazing first experience at nursery for our daughter. Although, sadly, only for 3 months (as we look to move home), we took so much pleasure from the experience, seeing how well she settled, developed and enjoyed her time at The Learning Experience East Finchley. My son has been at The Learning Experience for 3 months now and we’ve had an amazing time. He is so excited to come in every day, which is a change from his last nursery. The staff are very caring and take his health and allergies very seriously, putting my mind at ease being away from him for so many

I can only say great things about this nursery. We moved to this nursery from a previous one and do not regret that move even one bit. My child has benefited tremendously thanks to his wonderful teachers who showered him with love, care and attention. The facilities here are magnificent, the activities
are engaging and the atmosphere is fun! The staff cook real yummy food which our child loves every day. All in all, under the stewardship of great staff, this is a fantastic place for any child to be in. I highly recommend the East Finchley Learning Experience to anyone who'd like their little one to grow into a confident and happy child.

Amazing experience with The Learning Experience. I pulled my children out of a previous nursery due to the lack of structure and education for children. The Learning Experience actually educates the children and has a structured curriculum. If my daughter didn’t start reception, I would have sent her
with my son because the experience is excellent. We get updates all day, so we know what he has eaten and pictures of what he has done.

My eldest son has been at The Learning Experience since June 2021 after transitioning from another nursery - it was the best decision that we made. With the small classes and the enriching curriculum, we have seen our son flourish in his development. The staff team are amazing, they all know each individual
child and management respond in a timely manner to any questions we may have. I am so glad we chose this nursery - it genuinely is the best in the area.

Our daughter has been at The Learning Experience since June 2021 and we couldn’t be happier. She loves the staff, who are all really warm and proactive. The classrooms and facilities are fantastic with so many diverse resources. Our daughter loves the food and I love that updates and photos are uploaded
to the app regularly throughout the day. Each month there is a different learning theme, e.g. STEM, art, philanthropy, and we’re sent the curriculum so we can see what activities the children will be doing each week. All the management team are excellent and really involved with everything going on in the classrooms. I would highly recommend The Learning Experience - it has really exceeded our expectations!

Our son absolutely loves going to The Learning Experience in East Finchley. All of the staff are very caring and the updates that we receive throughout the day show what a great time he is having. The children do an extremely wide range of activities and the facilities are superb, including a large
outdoor space. We receive regular updates from the management who are extremely attentive and answer any questions promptly.

Everyone in the nursery is amazing. My child receives great care, personal attention and great guidance in achieving age-specific curriculum milestones. Great outdoor space and activity time to keep the child happy and healthy. Love that they are already introducing a 3rd language and computers to the
children. The premises are spotlessly clean, excellent food and my son looks forward to going to the nursery every day. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have peace of mind, knowing that their child is greatly cared for.

Our son moved to The Learning Experience in September 2021, before he turned 1. He is so happy there. The premises are amazing - light and airy, with lots of space, and with a lovely outdoor space too. But the real USP is the staff, who are utterly wonderful, every single one of them is a superstar.
It has such a warm, inclusive, nurturing atmosphere, with parents welcomed into the life of the nursery, and a friendly face everywhere you turn. Our son is thriving and sometimes doesn't want to leave when we pick him up! We couldn't be happier.

Love everything about this nursery. Staff are all kind and caring. My son looks forward to going every morning. The rooms and facilities are excellent. We had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday organised by lovely staff. It’s great to see and get connected with other parents.

The Learning Experience was our best possible choice. You won't find a better place for your beloved child, seriously. The staff are really nice, helpful and extremely kind there. My little one is quite shy, but she loves her teachers very much! It shows how much love and care our child gets in that
environment. The rooms are nice and clean, the whole nursery’s been beautifully refurbished. All the toys are new and well looked after. Kids do lots of activities and learn there a lot. We would only recommend this place.

I’m so glad we found The Learning Experience, our daughter loves to go to this nursery. They do not just play around, they learn a lot, having fun at the same time. Our daughter started nearly a year ago and she has improved so much since than and I can’t thank them enough for this achievement. She
understand English and started to talk so nicely, she started to eat finally at home as well, she likes to play with other kids now, they helped along with potty training and they are just simply the best in kid's early education. I’m a mother of three children and I’m looking forward to my small ones starting at The Learning Experience very soon. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work!

This nursery is amazing! The building is new, rooms are bright with a lot of natural light and the staff are friendly and helpful! My daughter loves going there, she learns a lot, they do different activities every day! The food is homemade and healthy and my daughter enjoys it! They have a lovely garden
which they use every day, if the weather permits!

My daughter started nursery here at 11 months and we have been so lucky with how amazing The Learning Experience has been. The staff are all wonderful and always go the extra mile. She loves everyone so much and they all know her name and wave at her in the corridors. Her days are full of fun and we
love seeing what she’s been up to on the app. The arts and crafts she comes home with are adorable and make our day. The meals she eats are better than what we make at home. I totally trust The Learning Experience and couldn’t be happier with her first experience of nursery. It’s been a huge success and I would recommend it to everyone! Thanks to all the amazing women who give her loads of cuddles and play with her all day.

We’ve had a very positive experience sending our daughter to The Learning Experience, East Finchley. The staff have been brilliant and the facilities are superb. Our little one has now settled in fully and runs into the centre on a morning and seems very happy there.

If there was another word better than excellent, that is the exact word I would use to describe The Learning Experience Nursery, including the staff. My son who had been struggling to cope in his previous nursery is now doing very well in this nursery. He loves it there and would cry when it was time
for him to go home. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my child. I am so happy because my son is happy and thriving brilliantly.

I have been exceptionally impressed at the care, attention and dedication of the staff towards my daughter. It is so obvious that she thrives at The Learning Experience and is always so happy to be dropped off on her days in. You can see that the staff are attentive and nurturing to each individual
child. The food provided to the children is nutritious and follows the healthy start recommended guidelines for children under 5. I am so pleased with the enthusiasm of the staff, they are all helpful and approachable. I am never worried when my daughter is in the nursery because the staff are proficient at updating the parents' app which provides updates and pictures about your child's day. I believe The Learning Experience is genuinely the best nursery I visited in the Finchley area and my family and I are due to move house and possibly area in April but because of how wonderful this place is we are considering staying in the area so our daughter can stay at this nursery. I couldn't recommend it enough.

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
