Both of my children have been to Little Pearls Nursery and I can’t sing their praises enough. The children’s happiness, health and enjoyment are at the heart of everything they do. Their staff are truly brilliant, they’re smiley, professional, caring and enthusiastic and they’re the only nursery in Exeter which opens from 7 am which was very attractive and useful to us as a family. I can't recommend them enough.

We are happy with the Little Pearls company. Amazing team at Pebble Room with fast response. The team always makes sure that our child is doing well and always give us updates. My child is happy every time when attending nursery. Only if the nursery can show us the pictures of all meals that are being served to the children that would be wonderful. All in all my child seems to enjoy the food there. Will recommend to friends and family.

I was very nervous about my little one going to nursery as he would often cry when he was held by anyone else. Little Pearls team were lovely sending me updates on the first few mornings that he was sad at drop-offs. He now loves going in and must enjoy himself and be happy as he will always dive into the staff’s arms. The option for an optional hot meal is great and they are happy to offer him a packed lunch as a backup. The daily blog updates on the app are lovely to receive and put my mind at rest that he’s having a good time. They have a good set-up for naps for little ones although my son doesn’t nap well, though that’s no fault of the nursery. He has also been on a trip out to the park which was lovely to see and they make sure the children get out in the garden every day.

My son has been going to Little Pearls since June this year at just 8 months old. All the staff are really lovely. My boy is extremely well looked after and queries I have are always answered straight away. They're very understanding and accommodate us very well.

We took our daughter to Little Pearls Nursery as our son previously attended when it was known as Horizon Childcare and we knew how wonderful the setting is for children. The staff go above and beyond for the children. They're all so kind, caring and patient with each child and they have all welcomed our daughter and made her start to nursery life incredibly easy. She's very keen to be handed over in the mornings and always goes with a smile. The staff go to a lot of effort to make fun activities that the children can participate in. Even as one of the youngest, they help our daughter to get really involved which she loves. The staff always listen to your routine requests and try their upmost to follow them which is so helpful to the parents. We would recommend this nursery to everyone. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Great nursery, very good with the kids there always very excited to go in and seem to have a great bond. always updating you and happy to message to let you know if the kids are happy throughout the day especially when there just starting. Really nice having reviews from their key workers they are always very detailed

All three of my kids have attended this nursery over the years starting from when the nursery was really small and it’s great to see how much success they’ve had over the years! Staff are always really friendly and helpful and all my kids enjoy/enjoyed attending. Would always recommend this nursery. The only downside would be there seems to be a high staff turnover with lots leaving once the child gets used to them however that isn’t the nursery’s fault at all so wouldn’t rate less because of that and this may be the case with a lot of nurseries.

We were in a bit of a pickle for childcare, Little Pearls were able to squeeze in both my children temporarily and made them both feel right at home. They are entirely reasonable with pricing and give a good amount of updates, both my children seem to have a lovely time whilst being there.

Our child has been attending Little Pearls for over 18 months and has enjoyed her time immensely. The staff are so friendly and caring, and our daughter loves attending. They seem to have a brilliant range of activities, and my daughter has definitely learnt lots of skills here. She is outside every day, and often makes trips out. Little Pearls is a nurturing environment with brilliant staff and approachable management.

I would highly recommend Little Pearls.

My little girl has been going here for over a year. It is a very warm setting and we have never had any tears about going! It is a small nursery which means everyone knows everyone. The management team are really responsive. The app and info provided each day is fantastic. Little girl has a great time, is learning lots, and the staff seem very caring.

I highly recommend this nursery if you’re looking for somewhere where your children will be well taken care of and you can relax as a parent knowing they’re well looked after! No nursery is perfect and everywhere is different but Little Pearls work hard every day to improve and make the nursery the lovely place it is and best of all, all the staff love their jobs and have the children’s well-being as a top priority!

Horizon Childcare is a fabulous nursery. The staff make you feel at ease when your child starts nursery for the first time. The staff are absolutely brilliant at what they do, adding daily blogs and pictures to the app. This is great as you can follow your child's journey while they are at nursery. You have the option to send your child with a packed lunch or they can have a hot meal which is pre booked at an extra cost. Our daughter only attended Horizon for 2 months due to us having to move for work. In the short time she was there, she made huge advancements in her development and completely came out of her shell. We were incredibly sad to see her leave and would highly recommend Horizon Childcare and the staff to anyone thinking of sending their child there.

Absolutely no negatives, lovely staff, happy and safe environment, great communication and facilities. I absolutely love seeing what the kids are getting up to in the daily blogs from the staff, my little one always leaves the day with a massive smile having had so much fun! Wonderful nursery and so pleased we have chosen to send our child there!

Putting our son into the care of Horizon Childcare has been a hugely positive experience for the whole family. The team there are fantastic. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They are caring yet offer firm guidance; they are enthusiastic and informed about emotional development and learning; keen to work with parents on the child’s journey; supportive and relaxed. Every effort is made to give the children an interesting, varied and educational day. I feel that the team go out of their way to consider how the nursery can help the children (and parents!) as they prepare for their next steps. I feel that they genuinely care for the children and want them to be happy, well rounded, healthy little people. We will all miss them hugely when our son leaves their care.

Don't be put off if the score isn't 10 out of 10. Horizon doesn't provide lunches which might affect the score; they allow your child to eat whatever you want to give them as a packed lunch - this is ideal for my little picky eater (he didn't eat or drink for 5 months at his previous nursery). They provide healthy snacks through the day. My 2 boys (aged 1 and 3) are thriving - we’ve seen so many improvements after only 3 weeks! I have been in tears of joy each week I have picked the boys up to see the massive improvements they’ve made and how happy they are. They’ve worked with us doing the best for our babies and giving helpful advice and support. You can tell how good it is by the smiles on the parent's faces who are waiting outside because we all know our babies are getting the best care and support they possibly can. This nursery is friendly and family-like and is truly outstanding. I wish these boxes were bigger because I can’t fit in enough that could express how good this nursery is!

All the staff have been very friendly, and my daughter simply loves nursery. It's such a pleasure to watch her go off in the mornings so happy and ready for the day.

I honestly, could not ask for a better nursery, my little girl has changed so dramatically over the last 12 months, all thanks to the girls at Horizon. They are kind, caring and very passionate about the well-being of all their children. They support you in every situation and are always happy to help. The best thing I have ever done was choose Horizon. She comes home so happy and full of stories every day! The staff have helped my little girl more than I could ever be thankful for.

A friendly, easy-going and calming setting. I had a really informative show around from the duty manager. As a parent who has no previous experience of childcare, I was fully put at ease by the reassuring and professional team. Our child has settled really quickly despite being a lockdown baby and not having socialised with others. We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.
