Riverview Day Nursery & Preschool

In general, I like everything. Many of the educators seem to be very loving and careful with the children. My daughter loves to go. When she's at home, she asks to go to the nursery!

My daughter had a wonderful time in the nursery. We are from another country and were concerned about our daughter's language development but she was really comfortable and taken care of at Riverview. We were also happy with the support regarding the timings.

My daughter has come on leaps and bounds with this nursery. They are so encouraging and child led. I love that all the staff know the children's names, even if they’re not in their room or group. Management are so approachable and nothing is too much trouble, they always go above and beyond. My daughter's key worker is absolutely fantastic! Such a credit to the nursery. She listens to all my requests and encourages and supports my daughter in every which way.

I was really nervous about putting my daughter into the nursery before her first birthday but the team are wonderful and she has so much fun taking part in all activities. I have no worries about her when I am at work, which is a relief knowing I can go to work and she is in safe hands.

She always eats the wonderful range of food and snacks.

The staff are always so helpful and friendly, I happily recommend the nursery to my family, friends and colleagues.

Our daughter has been attending Riverview Day Nursery & Preschool since November 2021 and loves going in every morning. All the staff that meet us at the door know her name, and she comes home in really good form on a daily basis. We get daily updates via the Eylog app, both on daily progress and photo updates on her progress. The staff have always been really helpful and flexible. Once our daughter is happy, we are, but we really feel the staff go above and beyond. Cannot recommend highly enough; thank you!

My daughter has been going here for over a year and has the best time! She loves the staff, makes new friends and does plenty of activities, all of which we are updated on using the great app they have. Highly recommend.

Great nursery. My daughter is very happy to attend, and the communication is good. A fabulous management team and all staff are polite and approachable. They have good activities for my daughter, and I like the app as they often upload observations of my daughter.

My son absolutely loves it here. The staff are amazing and are always genuinely happy to see him when he comes. They always make sure he goes in and comes out with a smile on his face. I am more than confident leaving my son with them and knowing that he’s in very capable hands. Riverview is genuinely a fantastic place and my son has developed so much in the 18 months he has been going. I cannot recommend this place anymore.

Most definitely one of the best preschool nurseries we know about. Our children absolutely love the place, my son has been going for around a year and a half and he has really benefitted from his experience there. A lot of thought goes into the creative activities and the soft learning activities which are evident from my son's growth. The staff are a very vibrant bunch, very welcoming and I can honestly say they are always smiling. The communication from the nursery is second to none, with very proactive management and staff which is refreshing. A genuinely lovely, diverse and welcoming environment.

My favourite thing about sending my girls to Riverview is the genuine care and love the staff have for the children they care for and my children feel that too.

I cannot fault the staff at this nursery. My son started during the pandemic and it was tough to be able to settle him in then it usually would have been but the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The contact with them is a constant stream and they are helpful when a child is distressed. I would recommend this place 100% and will miss the staff when my son moves to school and so will my son.

My son started attending Riverview Day Nursery when it first opened in 2020 and he received a lot of care and attention. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about how he will take to nursery as he was very reluctant to go anywhere without me as an only child, but since attending for over a year now he has really come out of his shell. I am very grateful to all the staff particularly the key workers he has had since March 2020. They have updated me on the app about his progress and in general when I collect him the staff always update me with any questions I have i.e. how he has been during meal times as he is a very fussy eater. Overall I am very pleased with the way the nursery staff have taken care of my son and he always talks about them at home - he is leaving the nursery this July to go to big school in September and I know he will miss the nursery teachers and his nursery friends very much.

My little girl has been coming here for 2 days a week since November. She has come out of her shell so much since starting. All the staff are amazing, especially her keyworker. So friendly and always flexible and ready to help as much as possible. Would highly recommend anyone to this nursery.

My son started this nursery when it first opened, in March 2020. It’s a Lovely nursery, my son loves coming here. The staff are friendly and approachable. Flexible with times/days at short notice when needed.

I would highly recommend Riverview to any parents or carers thinking of sending their child to a nursery in the local area. Our son always comes home at the end of the day with a smile on his face, and I can tell he has genuinely enjoyed his time there. I’m incredibly impressed with the wide range of activities my son engages in throughout the day. This is relayed to us via the app. The staff are excellent at keeping us up to date with everything that is going on via emails, newsletters, phone calls and observations. I’m so impressed with the dedication and hard work of each and every staff member I have come into contact with - it doesn’t go unnoticed, thank you so much.

The staff did absolutely everything to make the transition as smooth as possible and never complained even though I must have called every day. We were again worried about my son settling back in after months off and his safety during the pandemic. We needn't have worried at all, they have handled the situation brilliantly. The staff clearly know the children well and care for them greatly, it is very evident in observations, planned activities and general feedback through the app and in person. It honestly makes all the difference to know my son is so happy and flourishing in a fantastic environment. As an Early Years teacher and a mother, I really couldn't recommend the nursery highly enough.

It was difficult to decide on which nursery should I send my child to. However, when I chose Riverview nursery, I phoned and talked to the deputy manager to make an appointment and all my questions were answered. I met with the manager who thoroughly explained everything to me, including a child's normal day at the nursery, food provided, and out/inside activities at the nursery. The first impression was great. When my child started going to the nursery and from the first week, I could see that he is happy and always excited. I was happy that he is settling in very well and liked the nursery. The staff are super friendly and I could tell they are very professional. They regularly post photos and update the observations of my child in the app. Thank you to everyone, I am happy that I chose Riverview nursery for my child.
