Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Bridgwater)

I couldn't praise this nursery more if I tried!

My 2 year old daughter only started a month ago and is already thriving so much more! I was very picky about what nursery I chose as I took her out of another nursery after 1 week when she was 1 as it just wasn't right and she was very unhappy and so I was very nervous about doing it again however I feel nothing but ease when I drop her off and leave, knowing she is being well cared for. Although she still hates leaving me, as it's still early days, within 1 minute, she's running around, talking to others and playing and it very clear to see she is very happy and comfortable there.

All the staff are so kind and friendly, extremely knowledgable in childcare and always give me a very thorough hand over when I go and collect her. It's a busy nursery and they work so hard and genuinely love to look after our babies.

I feel like I'm winning because I've chosen the best nursery!

As a parent, I couldn't be happier with the care my 2-year-old son has received at this nursery over the past three months. The progress he has made in such a short time has been incredible - he has truly come on in leaps and bounds.

It gives me great peace of mind knowing my son is happy, supported, and thriving every day he attends. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for their child.

Maddie and the team in babies are so loving and caring, attentive to your child's needs. Sienna is growing very much in their day-to-day care.

My little boy started February of this year and I have nothing but praise for this nursery. They are very accommodating and have been super helpful with his medical needs. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

My daughter has been attending Mama Bears since she was 9 months old, and is currently in the Bouncy room (2 years room). She is thriving and is loving nursery, she has built strong relationships with all the staff throughout the nursery. All the staff at Mama bears are welcoming upon arrival/pick up, always being greeted with a hello and smiles throughout the building. I get to hear about my daughter's day at pick up but also through the app, seeing pictures and updates throughout her nursery day.

The nursery are amazing all the staff go above and beyond for all the children and make sure they have the best day. Would 100% recommend this nursery. The nursery is always clean and tidy and so much activities for the children to do.

Lovely nursery, the staff go above and beyond to provide the best care for every child. I have two children at the nursery - one in the baby room and one in the pre-school room and both of them are really happy at Mama Bears Nursery. My eldest has SEN needs and the manager sat with me in order to put a risk assessment into place for him as soon as we started. We are very happy with the care they have received and I feel my children have had their interests broadened, along with improved confidence and social skills.

Ever since my daughter joined she has built lots of confidence and is developing more and more every day. This is due to the staff at mama bear nursery going above and beyond for our child. Always kept up to date with any milestones and snapshots of her day

We get good feedback after each session and feel comfortable that she loves her time there.

My son has been part of this nursery for almost a year now. Each and every staff member are so lovely and really care for all of the children. The facilities are a top standard and the building has easy access and parking out the front. Every day I drop my son off the rooms have been switched up with different activities for the children to participate in. He has come on in leaps and bounds in his development since attending. The children have a varied menu which my son inhales at nursey as he enjoys it so much. The staff provide regular updates through the day on their app and lets you know about their food, nappy changes, sleep, any exciting moments and developmental reviews. I am due my second baby soon who is already booked to attend this nursery as couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else.

Our children absolutely love attending nursery which makes it much easier as a working parent to drop them off knowing they have an exciting day ahead with their friends. The staff are very understanding and respectful and treat our babies as individuals. My son started in September and it is a lovely nursery. He only attends Mondays and Wednesdays but they have been so lovely even from the initial look round. They keep me up to date with pictures, food diary and nap times etc which is of great comfort when I'm at work. The entire nursery staff are so welcoming and friendly and I am very glad they had a place for my son.

My baby started attending at the beginning of February 2024. He seems to really enjoy himself and be thriving with the care and support of staff in the baby room. It is a pleasure to send him in each week knowing he will be cared for so well and that I will receive updates throughout the day of what he has been up to.

It’s been 2 years since my son started at Mama Bear and he absolutely loves going to the nursery. Lots of activities, a lovely outside space, lots of toys but also kindness and care from the staff. Very pleased with the management and staff.

As a mum, I'm grateful for all the things you've done, for making so much fun, for the stories you've told, the songs you sing, for teaching how to share and being fair and for always being there!
