Kamelia Kids Day Nursery & Beach School

Fantastic nursery and really amazing staff! Our little boy started going at the age of 9 months and has since graduated from Daisies and moved up to Poppies. The staff are all exceptional; they seem to know him very well, pay attention to what we say at handover, and just seem to have a lot of fun together. The admin side of things is also great; there have been occasions where I have needed ad-hoc care or changed the days we put him in, and if possible, it's always accommodated. I feel very happy and confident about our choice and can wholeheartedly recommend.

We wanted to write a review to praise the staff for how well they keep our children safe - the vigilance your staff have with handover time is always exceptional and brings us a lot of relief knowing our child is safe. They vigilantly check all information if they do not know the person collecting your child. They will call before the child is released into their care. It’s a huge relief to us. Our little boy has disabilities, he has been attending nursery for a year and a half. He is non-verbal and has minimal purposeful language. We don’t get to see much of nursery life, but seeing the difference in relationships at handover is wonderful as time goes on. Our son has developed a wonderful relationship with one staff member in particular. He struggles to transition anywhere, but she makes the nursery easier for him. Nursery puts our children's best interests first, and our little boy has not transitioned rooms yet and the team think about how to do this best. There’s contact when necessary from the SENCOS and admin team too!

Hope my son will settle in soon and that he will have a great time at Kamelia Kids.

We could not be happier with Kamelia Kids for our daughter. She started at Kamelia Kids when she turned 1 year old and they put us at ease instantly and we couldn’t wish for a better place for our daughter to spend her time. They communicate well with us and have incredible facilities and so many opportunities for the children. Most importantly, our daughter is happy!

Great nursery with such attentive staff caring for the children. Always so detailed about your child's development and any difficulties they may be facing. The facilities are great with plenty of outside space. Kids can enjoy various activities provided.

Very good nursery, since my daughter joined a couple of months ago she loves it. She always looks forward to going to nursery. All the staff are very good, they are very good with communication and friendly as well.

My son had trouble settling in at first as didn't want to be away from us. The staff at Kamilia Kids are amazing they were so patient with him they told him what he would be doing at the end of the day for the next day like making play dough which he loves and bubbles, water play and playing in the sand. At first, he was stuck to the staff that were on duty but now he's loving it. He has made friends and he's like a different child, loves going in and doesn't even look back to say goodbye to me when he goes in. I would highly recommend Kamilia Kids.

I have two children who attend Kamelia Kids, a three-year-old and a one-year-old. The staff are outstanding - they know my children extremely well and go out of their way to make both child and parent feel very comfortable. This goes across the whole nursery from the operations director, the office and each member of staff in the rooms. Communication is brilliant, you can always chat to someone whenever you need and handovers are always comprehensive. My children are very happy attending the setting, they feel safe and supported (as do I) and I would recommend Kamelia Kids to any prospective parent.

Amazing place with dedicated staff and my daughter loves it. There is always fun activities and my daughter made so many wonderful friends. The team is always going the extra mile and it feels like home for my daughter.

Very flexible, helpful and patient with my very son, who although isn’t SEN, has anxiety, particularly about separation, and they’ve been understanding and put strategies in place throughout his settling process.

My grandson has had a wonderful time at Kamelia Kids. He is a sensitive child but has been nurtured by the staff and encouraged to fulfil his potential. I feel confident that he is being well prepared for ‘big school’. I can’t recommend the nursery highly enough. The feedback at pick-up time is detailed, personal and reassuring.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My son has been going since 10 months old and looks forward to every day there. Lovely caring staff and my son has learnt so much. Truly reassuring I did the right thing by placing him here when I returned to work.

My daughter loves it here, all the staff are amazing and really help her to develop. She always comes home happy and content. She has great experiences at Kamelia Kids and I am happy to have her at such a great nursery.

Lovely staff very helpful and friendly and always there to offer support for you and your child. Lots of space and new things to help your child's development. Always encourage my daughter to be as independent as she possibly can.

Great staff. He has developed his skill set in all areas and really enjoys his days here. He loves the outdoors play area, enjoys the different activities, and as parents, we feel comfortable and safe with him being here as they always seem to be on top of things. He sleeps well and enjoys his food as well.

I made the right choice.

We absolutely love all the team at Kamelia who take such good care of our son. The team in Daisy room are so kind and are always on hand to offer me advice. Since my child has been attending Kamelia, he has come on leaps and bounds in development and personality which is fantastic to see!!

This nursery has the most caring and compassionate staff. My little boy has so many opportunities attending Kamelia Kids and is so happy there. The staff have such a passion for their work and this is clear from the handovers and support they give the children. The nursery supports families as a unit without judgement and go above and beyond in all aspects. The facilities are phenomenal and the nursery is kept in such a clean and safe condition. Food is varied, nutritious and interesting. All children are treated as individuals and given all they need to thrive.

I started a new job following redundancy and needed to arrange nursery much sooner than I had anticipated. I was recommended Kamelia Kids and they did not disappoint. The management and staff went above and beyond to settle my little boy so quickly and to reassure me during such a stressful time. I can honestly say he has thrived since going to Kamelia Kids and really come out of his shell and gained confidence.

Both of our boys have attended Kamelia Kids Day Nursery, we cannot recommend this setting enough. They’ve been incredible for our autistic son, everyone was highly qualified and helped us navigate the special school application process, special thanks to the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). Our youngest has been going for 6 months and loves it, we’re so happy we found this nursery!
