I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding care, support and dedication shown by everyone at this nursery towards my granddaughters Amaya and Amrita.
From the moment they joined the nursery, the dedicated staff provided a warm, safe and nurturing environment where both girls have flourished. It is evident that every member of the teamIs passionate about supporting children in early years and helping them develop the confidence, skills and independence they need for the future.
The progress I have witnessed in both girls have been remarkable. Their communication skills creativity socialInteraction and confidence has grown significantly during their time at the nursery.
As a proud grandmother I cannot speak highly enough of the impact this nursery has had on Amaya and Amrita. The care education and encouragement they have received have helped them grow into happy confident and inquisitive young girls. Thank you everyone
Her settling in sessions were well considered and tailored to her schedule and personality, enabling her to feel comfortable and confident in her new setting.
It has allowed me to return to work happily knowing that she is in the best hands!
The transition from being at home to nursery can be daunting, but the staff made him feel safe, loved, and confident from day one. Over the last few years, I have watched his personality bloom and his confidence soar. The staff genuinely care about each individual child, and it shows in everything they do. He is leaving not just ready for school, but with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to the whole team!
My daughter has built in confidence and loves going to nursery, and I have really valued the support provided as a parent navigating the return to work for the first time.
Recent changes to their fee structure make this nursery very good value for money.
The nursery is a nurturing, caring, and fun environment. The children are always happily busy with a wide range of activities. Communication between the staff and parents is excellent, which makes us feel very confident and supported.
My daughter (now three) has been going to the butterfly patch in Hampton court for nearly 18 months now - she absolutely LOVES it. The staff are amazing, and she's really flourished - after a less so positive experience at another nursery my daughter has just settled into the butterfly patch so well. The staff are so gentle and kind and the whole place feels so genuine. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nursery for their little one!
Our son has been at Butterfly Patch Hampton Court since he was 11 months old and the progress that we have seen in him is amazing! The staff are ALL so caring towards him (even those that don't work in his room) and we are greeted with huge smiles every morning. The range of experiences offered is fantastic- from science week activities to daily outings, storytime to cooking, the photos we receive via the app always show happy, engaged learners. We always send our son in to nursery with the knowledge that he will be fed a healthy diet, offered a safe space for a nap and be given play opportunities both inside and outside all whilst being cared for by the most amazing team! We absolutely love Butterfly Patch and would highly recommend it to anybody.
My daughter has been attending the nursery full-time since 2023, when she was just one year old. This review is based on our experience in 2024. She has really enjoyed her time in the toddler room, especially the engaging activities that keep her happy and stimulated. The level of care provided is excellent, and the communication from the staff has been very good, keeping us informed about her progress and daily experiences. Now, as she transitions to the pre-school room, the attention to her individual needs is as expected. They ensure she feels comfortable and confident in this next stage of her development. She has also made wonderful friends and has sociably developed so much during her time at the nursery, which has been amazing to see. We are very pleased with the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.
My daughter has been in the nursery for about 2 years and absolutely loves it. The staff are caring, loving and make it a really fun and engaging environment to be in. Despite the obvious issue of not having outside space in the nursery it doesn't deter the staff who take the kids out every day to local parks, activities and playgrounds too. My daughter absolutely loved going to ride the train and the bus! It's a great nursery and my daughter is very happy.
Our son has been coming to The Butterly Patch since he was 2. Since then he has flourished and is ready for the reception. The staff are brilliant, very supportive, caring and patient. They have everyday outings and do lots of creative and learning activities. We couldn't be happier with our choice.
My child loves the nursery and the newest staff are the best yet. All the staff are always happy to take the time to chat with us about my child's progress and even his tantrums! They are out every day, they need a garden. We notice that on the weekends when we are out with our child he's a lot more engaged in what's going on around him in the general community than a lot of children who are glued to their parent's phones.
The nursery staff have done wonders to support my granddaughter with potty training. The environment is delightful and I know my daughter is very happy with her choice. The most important thing is that my granddaughter is happy!
My daughter (3 years old) has been attending nursery since March 2024, just two half days a week. She absolutely loves it, especially going out every day to do activities or playing games at the park. Always happy with a smile on her face when I pick her up. The staff is great and very creative in organising activities for the children.
My daughter has been at The Butterfly Patch for two years now, and I have seen the nursery go from strength to strength over that time. The children go out daily, exploring the parks and areas around them. The staff are caring and inventive with games and ways to get the children prepared for school. Not only has my daughter made good friends at the nursery, but I have also with the mums. I am very happy with the nursery and will be sending my son there too in the next few months.
The nursery is a wonderful setting. My son attends in the preschool room and he loves going to nursery to see his teachers. They have shown him patience and care through this transition stage of school readiness and independence. The practitioners create innovative activities to engage his interest and manage to keep him concentrated for good amounts of time. He’s developed in so many areas and loves the nursery pet which is a gecko! The setting is continuously improving since a new manager and deputy manager have led the nursery from the beginning of this year.
The setting is excellent and we love the treehouse and the new lizard pet!
The children go for a lovely walk each day and have had a few forest school sessions where they have built a den or had fun with a tree swing. There are plenty of lovely SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural) opportunities for the children too and my little one loves the cooking and baking.
The staff are excellent: very caring and encouraging of social skills.
I’m very pleased indeed.
All the key workers are brilliant. They are very caring towards my 2 children and they engage with them in many different creative activities. My children are always happy to go to the nursery and they are looked after really well by the staff.
Absolutely brilliant nursery. The staff are kind, caring and amazing. Communication is very clear. Using the app which is updated regularly and there are also regular pictures as well. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of nursery.
They worked with us to establish good routines/structure and managed challenging behaviour with regular comms, handovers and practical approaches.
They learned lots of new skills which the team documented via the app with pics and extra ‘wow moments’ included which was lovely.
My eldest was in preschool and learned all the key skills (writing, letters) you’d expect.
They are supported with wider prep like sitting down in a circle, listening etc, stuff you don’t always think of but is critical.
They worked on projects around nature, science etc and free play helped develop interests and form friendships.
Cons are, no outside space which isn’t unusual for nurseries in that area, they are taken out for a good few hours each day.
Staff turnover has been a bit high but isn’t unusual or a reflection on the nursery I don't think–similar has been experienced by friends with other nurseries.
Our daughter has loved her time here and that's all thanks to the staff who are engaging, compassionate and very creative in everything that they do for the children. She comes home each day with stories to tell and songs to sing which is lovely for us to see. For such a small site, the fact that the team make such great use of the neighbouring green space is key and they are out in all weather which was important for us to have. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!
