We were naturally anxious to find a nursery where our daughter (who is 14 months old) would be well looked after and supported. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We were initially drawn to Perfect Start because the playrooms seemed so bright and airy, with a wide selection of toys (but not
too many at once so as to overload them). Our daughter absolutely loves the meals that they provide; there is a lot of variety and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff are incredible; they clearly work exceptionally hard and put a lot of thought into the various activities that they do with the children (sensory tables, etc.) all of which has definitely helped our daughter to grow in confidence and to begin learning to walk and talk. They are also very diligent when it comes to cleanliness, both in terms of minimising infection risk and also ensuring that our daughter is changed as often as is needed so that she is comfortable throughout the day. We really couldn't ask for more.

My daughter has been attending Perfect Start in Horsham since September and the team have been nothing less than amazing with her. The time and effort that her Keyworker put in with her, has been amazing and the development that our daughter has made is a joy to watch. I never need to stress or worry
as I know she is in safe hands. She gets to join in with the daily activities, eats lots and lots of lovely food which she can't get enough of and just loves it! The nursery manager is so friendly, always keeps us up to date, and has done a brilliant job at keeping everyone safe in the current times. As a family, it is clear that we made the right choice in nursery for our daughter and have recommended it to both friends and family.

All the staff are wonderful. They are really caring and helpful. My daughter is growing in confidence every day whilst having a fantastic time.
I am confident my daughter will continue to learn and develop skills as she heads towards starting school.

The team at Perfect Start - Horsham has been incredible with our 11-month-old. Our main worry was that she would struggle to nap away from home and on her first day the team absolutely cracked it! She comes home happy, smiley and having learnt new things. The team are so kind and caring and make sure
they keep worried new parents updated and put minds at ease! Getting updates on the app is also brilliant. It's made going back to work so much easier and I would recommend Perfect Start to any parents who are looking for a nursery.

Fantastic nursery - highly recommend. Our son has settled in so well to the nursery and this is largely due to the wonderful staff. Every day he engages with fun activities that really supports his development. His confidence around others has really flourished and this has been particularly important
since lockdown. The facilities are great with a lovely outdoor space and he always has two portions of the food on offer. It's wonderful to have peace of mind that my son is happy and being well cared for at Perfect Start Nursery.

Perfect Start has exceeded our expectations and we're so happy that our little boy was lucky enough to get a place when they opened. The staff are fabulous and the setting is great with so much free play as well as some structured learning, which is ideal for our just three year old. We're now looking
at increasing the number of days he goes for as he loves it so much and is really blossoming under their care.

Before our son started at Perfect Start in Horsham, I had viewed a few other nurseries in the area. Based on what I had seen, I definitely felt Perfect Start had the best facilities and care. We wanted a 'home away from home' and that's exactly what we got. Our son has been at nursery for a month now
and absolutely loves his time there. The teachers and nursery manager are very attentive and approachable, and have my son's best interest at heart. The activities are moulded around the children's interests, which is really unique, I have not seen this done at any other nursery. I have total peace of mind when I drop my son at nursery, that he is getting the absolute best care and being stimulated and having loads of fun in the process.

We have been so overjoyed at just how well our son has settled into the nursery. It was obviously an apprehensive time with everything going on, however, the team went above and beyond to ensure that this didn’t impact the children but also provided us, parents, with considered reassurance.
They have
created a space which our son loves going in to and enabled wonderful memories to be made. He thrives on the activities they set out and he has already come on leaps and bounds since his time here.
We can’t thank the staff enough for providing such a caring and loving environment for our little one, it’s a huge comfort to know he is enjoying his time whilst there.

Our daughter has been attending Perfect Start Day Nusery for around 3 months now and she absolutely loves her time there. We were able to have a couple of settling in sessions with her which was great peace of mind for us all as she was just 10 months when she first joined and a little shy. It took
no time at all for her to come out of her shell and I’ve no doubt that that’s down there caring nature of the staff and the homely environment of the nursery rooms. The staff are always very responsive and I have even been in email contact as late at 9pm. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.

My son is enjoying his time at Perfect Start Nursery. He settled in really well and has made lots of friends. He is always happy to go in the morning but not so happy to leave in the evening when we pick him up! All staff members are very nice and professional and always go above and beyond to provide
the best care for the children. The nursery is brand new and very clean with a good size garden for the children to play.

Our son was full of smiles and confidence from his very first visit.
We chose this nursery as it felt very friendly and very honest and homely.
The staff treat each child individually and will adapt the day's activities and routine around your child’s needs. They are supportive of any changes and
supportive towards any specific area of your child’s needs and attention.
The communication has been great too and really helped with settling my son in and feeling comfortable leaving him for the first time.
My son has so much fun at nursery, he eats well and sleeps well, and is making so many memories. It’s lovely to have the support and advice with his development too.

I’ve looked at a lot of nurseries, by far the manager at Perfect Start has been the most welcoming and friendly. All the staff at the nursery have taken such good care of my daughter. She loves going and actively waves me goodbye and doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. Communication is great
and the app is a lovely way to see what your child has being doing and for you to read what their next steps are.
I believe my daughter is safe, well looked after, has fun and honest communication is what I wanted. It’s a truly brilliant nursery.

We have recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nursery. Perfect Start was just opening and sounded perfect for our boys. The manager was so helpful with answering all of our questions and doing a virtual show round. The rooms are nice and have all the toys and equipment to keep the little
ones learning and engaged. Our boys went to a settling in session where they really enjoyed themselves and the staff were so friendly and they warmed to them instantly. The garden is nearly finished and looks like it will be amazing.

The nursery has been so welcoming and friendly. I was very nervous about my son starting nursery but as soon as I met the staff I was reassured that I had made the right decision with Perfect Start.
They are professional and their daily updates make you feel you have not missed anything.

Charlotte Wilcox

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hi, I’m Charlotte, the Nursery Manager here at Kids Planet Horsham. I’ve been working in childcare since 2014 and joined the nursery in July 2020 as a Room Leader. Since then, I’ve progressed through several roles, including Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, and now Manager.
I’ve always been passionate about working with children and feel incredibly lucky to be part of their early learning journey. Watching them grow, develop, and discover the world around them is the most rewarding part of what we do.
Originally part of the Perfect Start group, our nursery became part of Kids Planet in March 2025. Throughout these changes, we’ve continued to maintain our high standards of care and education, and I’m proud to lead a dedicated team that puts children’s well-being at the heart of everything we do.
