Very welcoming and professional since our first enquiry. Friendly team of staff who all have your child’s best interest at the forefront of their minds. This is noticed by the great activities they create throughout the day and the willingness of my child to go to a member of the team at drop-off.

Perfect Start really is a perfect start. Our son attended the nursery between the ages of 1.5 and 4 years old, and he always came home each day so happy, despite the long hours spent there. The team are always friendly and approachable, always coming up with new and interesting activities often based
on the interests shown by the children under their care. We always found the Manager and her team to be happy to listen to any concerns we had, always sympathetic and prepared to give up their time to discuss anything concerning the children. His teacher supported us with any SENCO matters, and the cooking provided by the chef who was so good that our son still talks about certain meals she provided and how it just isn't the same anywhere else. If the team here in Horsham were running a primary School I very much doubt they would ever have gotten rid of us. Thank you to everyone who helped our family along in our journey. We won't forget you.

Our son joined Perfect Start as a shy and slightly anxious child in the summer of 2021 after our move. Two years later he leaves a kind, confident and creative little dude. This is in large part due to the wonderful staff at Perfect Staff. They brought him out of himself and supported him relentlessly.
They helped him find his interests as well as steering him through a difficult period of behaviour after an operation. We couldn't have hoped for a better nursery when we moved to Horsham. We will genuinely the manager and the guys. Just fantastic.

Perfect Start, without a doubt, is the best choice we’ve made for our children. Having your children in the care of others is always difficult for new parents but, we had no fears about leaving our little ones in their fantastic care. From settling-ins to weekly observations, and general chitchats with
the management team and practitioners, you really do begin to feel like you’re part of a family. Our children have no frets in entering the nursery and are always eager to get to their rooms, getting involved with the fantastic activities that are planned and organised daily. We have a child with complex medical needs who attends the setting and the staff have been amazing, going out of their way to ensure his needs are consistently met so he has the same opportunities and outcomes as every other child, he never feels left out and adores the attention he receives, as does his sister!
Thank you to Perfect Start for being such an important part of our children’s early years journey!

An excellent nursery with exceptional staff and management. My son previously attended another nursery and the care and attention to detail is unmatched. Perfect Start is a fantastic nursery and any child that attends will be well looked after and cared for.
This nursery is run exceptionally well

My son has been attending Perfect Start since he was 10 months old (he's now 19 months old) and all I can say is what an amazing job the team do at the nursery. The staff are amazing, caring and always there to listen.
My son has come on leaps and bounds since joining and is such a confident little
boy now. He was always the shy one and not wanting to get too involved but that has all changed with time and patience from the team members in his room who he adores.
There are always a great variety of activities done with the children so no two days are the same. The food is great, I know my son loves it and is regularly having an extra portion (he loves food).
I can't fault the nursery, as a parent I can't be happier and more reassured that he getting everything he needs. The nursery is led by great managers who are always there to say hello and goodbye at the end of each day.

The staff in the baby room are incredible! They provide well-planned, engaging, creative, imaginative and stimulating activities every single day. I love seeing all the updates on the app, and the things my son gets up to look so fun.
The learning is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child,
and the staff are amazing at helping him to learn and master new skills based on the interests he has shown at home. The passion and dedication of the nursery team to each child are amazing, and the bonds that have been forged between them are visible. When your child is smiling, happy and reaching out to the people who work there as you drop him off, it is the biggest reassurance. My son is so happy here!
Everything seems really well managed too, and the awards are a great way of rewarding staff/recognising achievements - it looks like somewhere I’d want to work!
So glad we chose Perfect Start - I’ve already enrolled number two!

Our little girl has been attending Perfect Start Day Nursery - Horsham since she was 10 months old and is so happy here!
We had the excepted tears for the first couple of weeks but the team were amazing and she settled in so quickly!
Now at 18 months old, she loves going to nursery and is always
beaming when we drop her off.
The team at Perfect Start are so good at working on her development and she has learnt so many new things.
Couldn’t be happier!

Perfect Start Day Nursery in Horsham is absolutely amazing. The staff compassionately guided us through our little girl starting nursery for the first time. They have helped our child so much with her speech and language. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery. The staff are always so positive

We love this nursery. Our son has attended for 6 months now and had a bit of trouble settling but I felt so confident in the care all the nursery staff gave him and soon enough he started having the best days there. Every time I go to the nursery I see all the staff are so attentive to every child and
my little boy loves them all. It is such a comfort to know we are sending him somewhere we completely trust is taking good care of him and also giving him all the attention he needs.

The one thing that attracted me to the nursery on our tour was that the manager was clearly passionate about her job. Therefore, I knew she would make sure my child received the best care. She remembers every face in the morning and always says hello. The staff are so friendly and supportive. The environment
is clean, tidy and welcoming for children. Fantastic activities planned to suit all children and the meals they provide sound amazing! I feel very confident that I chose the right nursery for my child.

I have two children who have attended the nursery (toddlers / pre-school), they joined almost a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed the time they have spent there. The staff and management are friendly and helpful, the facilities and food are great, there is significant effort put into ensuring variety
in the children’s activities and I have been pleased with their development (emotional/physical/academic) over the period.


I have seen nothing to suggest that the same high standards aren’t met with the younger children and would be happy to recommend the nursery.

Fantastic, caring staff who always go above and beyond to make sure every child has a fun-packed day. Healthy, nutritious meals are served daily by a fabulous cook. The setting is perfectly managed by an amazing team by whom nothing is too much trouble.
I would highly recommend Perfect Start in Horsham.

Our daughter started at Perfect Start in October having not spent much time away from us due to the pandemic. The staff in the older Babies room have all been so lovely and I feel that they have really got to know her very quickly. She gets very upset when I drop her off but I have every confidence
that she is having a great time as soon as I am out of sight.
The manager has been very helpful and accommodating when I have contacted her.
The activities they set up for the children look so much fun and the menu always looks great.

A great nursery with amazing and caring staff. The manager and the team at Perfect Start Day Nursery are absolutely wonderful. You can see they care about every child at the nursery, their wellbeing and their experience at nursery, from the very first day. They keep you updated and informed of your
little one's adventures during the day and care about what happens outside of nursery too. The food provided is healthy, nutritious and homemade each day but a great chef, and my little one loves going in every time we take her.

My daughter had started going to Perfect Start Day Nursery over a year ago when she was only 11 months old. We feel she is very happy there, always happy to go in. Her days are filled with lovely activities that I think a lot of thought goes into. I do like that one of the objectives of the nursery
is to flow the child’s interest. The menu looks very good every week and most importantly healthy and freshly cooked on site. We have never been invited to taste the food which some nurseries do.

As soon as I walked through the door at nursery, I just knew it was the place I wanted to send my daughter who had just turned 1. The welcoming from the manager and her team was so warm and welcoming and most of all reassuring. They go above and beyond on a daily basis. My little girl absolutely loves
nursery and I have no worries at all that she's in the best care. The nursery is clean, modern with a beautiful garden space; it just ticks all the boxes.

My son has now been attending this nursery for over a year. My youngest will hopefully be joining soon as well. I am still as amazed at this nursery as I was when he first started. Even though the nursery has become hugely popular they have a very personal approach. I feel all the staff know my son
and take an actual interest in his learning.
My son always has a great time and I have no doubt that they have helped him to develop into a confident and kind 3 year old. ‘I love nursery, I get to play with my friends’ my son, 3 years old.

Charlotte Wilcox

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hi, I’m Charlotte, the Nursery Manager here at Kids Planet Horsham. I’ve been working in childcare since 2014 and joined the nursery in July 2020 as a Room Leader. Since then, I’ve progressed through several roles, including Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, and now Manager.
I’ve always been passionate about working with children and feel incredibly lucky to be part of their early learning journey. Watching them grow, develop, and discover the world around them is the most rewarding part of what we do.
Originally part of the Perfect Start group, our nursery became part of Kids Planet in March 2025. Throughout these changes, we’ve continued to maintain our high standards of care and education, and I’m proud to lead a dedicated team that puts children’s well-being at the heart of everything we do.
