Sunrise Day Nursery

Extremely organised (especially with Covid) and happy place for my child to attend. The staff are friendly and caring. Organised activities and general play keep my little one entertained. She loves it, even when she is so little (started at 11 months old!) She doesn’t nap as well at home but feels safe and comfortable to nap well here. Thank you!

Our son has been at Sunrise for the past 3 years and is now in the pre-schooler class. We have been extremely satisfied and happy with our experience at Sunrise and would recommend it highly. The staff are excellent with kids and very attentive to individual needs. The mixture of the Montessori approach and forest school experience is a great combo for the development of the children. Our strong-willed son has blossomed at Sunrise, finding structure without losing his personality.

We have two children at Sunrise, with the first joining in 2018. We love everything about it. Every aspect of the nursery is fabulous, especially the staff, along with the daily activities, fantastic healthy food menus and the care and support given to both the children and families. They have also dealt with the recent pandemic incredibly well making us feel very safe and comfortable. I could not recommend this nursery more.

We have a daughter currently at Sunrise, and our son was previously there before going to school. Both our children have loved their time at Sunrise. The staff are very attentive and caring and make sure the days are filled with fun activities, which we always hear about at the end of the day. Both my children have learnt to interact well with others and have been encouraged to do what interests them, my daughter comes home with lots of art each day which she loves showing us. Occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Comic Relief etc are always made special. It's a very friendly place and my son still really enjoys coming to pick-up to say hello to everyone 15 months after leaving.

The things that my son has learnt is extremely excellent and I mean the way his grammar is. He pronounces his words really well. The way he is trying new things and he’s eating new things and his communication skills are really excellent the way he is learning and he’s only been there for like a year and coming up to 2 years. So impressive, so yes in my eyes I would inspire this nursery to a lot of people out there now as it is one of the best now. Ever so proud to have my son at Sunrise nursery, thanks so much I really appreciate everything even the staff as well, they are excellent the way they work with my son the way they interact with my son and the way they look after him as well as the other children. I really appreciate everything, so yes I love this nursery, I’ve got my son in a very safe environment and I know that he is safe even though I’m at work and I don’t need to worry. All of the children that I have seen they all had hot healthy meals And also good personal care!

Sunrise is an amazing place for my children. They are so excited to go back after the weekend to see their friends and the lovely staff there. The activities they get up to are fantastic. Couldn't be happier with all the staff there. They are warm and friendly and great at providing such a lovely place for my kids to be themselves.

The best nursery we came across when we were looking for our first son. Now our second son is there as well, and we really grateful to all members to create this space for kids. Our kids love to go to nursery. Food, care and development are great. Thanks.

We are very happy with our two sons. Most important was the care and how comfortable kids are feeling. They are always happy to go to the nursery even asking on weekends. We love forest school and the art room. The food is delicious. Managers are very supportive and caring. Thanks for being there for us.

Our daughter started at Sunrise in August. We are very happy with the service and the professionalism of all the staff and management. She loves her key worker. We’re always kept informed about her day and the progression she’s making. We are looking forward to when the pandemic is over so we can actually come in and see her play with her friends.

I owe everything to Sunrise who have taken care of my two children from 8 months through to starting school. They are like a family, so loving and caring. They offer a very personal experience and understand every child's individual need and development process. Their facilities are brilliant. Deceivingly big, and so well spread out. They're clean and tidy and the toys, games and art supplies are always in great condition to be played with whenever the kids want to! The forest school was my kids' favourite part, an adventure every week! Not a single bad thing to report about that fabulous nursery and incredible staff.

Both of our kids were amazingly happy at Sunrise, starting in the baby room and leaving just before primary school as ‘old timers’. The managers and their team are so wonderful, caring and creative and their love for the kids is palpable. The forest school curriculum and Montessori mix is great and the teachers at the primary have also said how well prepared Sunrise made them for school. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Second, they teach them so much, skills for life, being independent and of course numbers and letters in a fun, engaging way.

Absolutely love this nursery. Both of my kids go there, my oldest has been attending Sunrise Day Nursery for 3 years and my youngest just started in the Baby room. Caring and kind staff and good management. Kids do a variety of great activities and I love the fact they do forest school once or twice a week.

I am a mum of 2. My oldest daughter went to Sunrise Day Nursery from 11 months old to 3 years and my little one started at 11 months as well and she has been enjoying it since day 1. Every morning when I drop her she runs inside. The staff, the multiple activities, the food - everything is great. I definitely recommend Sunrise Day Nursery.

What a wonderful nursery. Our two boys have now gone there and can say without a shadow of doubt that it has been a place of growth, nurturing and kindness. All the staff have been amazing and we love them dearly. Couldn't recommend this more as a place to see your children thrive.

This nursery is wonderful. The staff are nurturing. They are so enthusiastic and creative. The staff all get to know the children really well, so my son has close relationships with all of them over and above his key worker. They have great outdoor space and forest school has really created a love for nature in my son. Also, the fantastic food they provide has ensured my son is not a picky eater. I see this nursery as a family and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Our son was at Sunrise Day Nursery from his first birthday and stayed until he started reception. The team are absolutely brilliant and he has been exceptionally happy there. He also developed really well within the EYFS framework and I have found that he is ahead of a lot of kids his age at his new school.

The management team are brilliant and ensure that excellent learning records are kept. Regular parents evenings mean you know exactly how things are going and any areas to focus on at home. If I had another baby I would definitely send them to Sunrise Day Nursery.

Sunrise has been wonderful for both my son and daughter. The staff are amazing at providing a nurturing environment that gives the children room to explore and learn. I could not recommend more highly.

Our two younger daughters attend nursery at the moment and we feel so lucky to still be part of Sunrise especially after lockdown and the heroic work of the teachers taking care of our girls and keeping them happy when the world is in such an unsettled time. We recommend Sunrise 100%

We've had one daughter at Sunrise Day Nursery for a year and have been so happy with them that we've put our second in too. The staff were so thoughtful and considerate in helping our first daughter transition to her new place after we moved into the area, and she is now so loved and looked after by her key worker that we're dreading when she leaves for school. It's a diverse and friendly nursery with children and staff of all backgrounds, which we particularly like, and our children are lucky to go there. There's a good range of outdoor play, forest school, and indoor reading/painting/creativity with story time and our girls come home full of conversation about the day.
