Sunrise Day Nursery

One thing that could add to the nursery's overall picture is probably the introduction of an app from where we could receive updates on our child's daily tasks and overall progress. At the moment we receive a daily summary in a paper.

We couldn't ask for more from Sunrise. The staff are wonderful, so dedicated and nurturing. Our daughter has been at Sunrise for almost two years now, joining first in the baby room. She enjoys going there on a daily basis, seeing her friends and all the teachers. We are recommending the nursery.

I am very happy with our experience at Sunrise Day Nursery so far. My son started in early August and has a lovely time each time he goes, even though the first month was a bit difficult (as expected). The staff is absolutely wonderful. The lovely cook even caters for our son who eats Halal and it's close to home.

The staff are wonderful, loving and kind. The managers know every child well and always have up-to-date stories to share. Our daughters love to attend and our eldest enjoys coming back to pick up her sister (but mostly to talk to her teachers!).

I would recommend Sunrise to any other parent.

The children all get to spend a decent amount of time outside, which is great & we love the fact that they sometimes even have breakfast outside in the summer.

We love the nurturing environment at Sunrise, the team are caring & goes the extra mile for activities. I feel they know my daughter's individual needs & she has always loved going. I am so glad they spend so much time outdoors & forest school is always a highlight.

Our daughter has been in Sunrise since she was 11 months old. She is now 4 and still absolutely loves it - the staff are caring, kind, fun and it's clear how much they know and focus on each child, their personalities and development. She has learned so much here from the various activities, and the environment clearly fosters independence, good manners, social skills, humour and confidence. We're so grateful to the team at Sunrise and all of their hard work.

Warm, caring, wonderful team - the tone is set by the incredible manager who leads with a very thoughtful passion. We've had a fantastic experience at Sunrise. Our little one is delighted to join every day and comes bouncing out every evening.

We love Sunrise! Our son has been with them since he was 2.5 years old and our daughter since she was 9 months old. Their days are packed with great activities, forest school, cooking, yoga, arts and crafts, sensory play etc. They get a lot of outdoor play, including forest school in a nearby park twice a week for the oldest. Their indoor set-up is well thought out, including a separate nap room. But before all the teams are amazing. The team is very stable and displays genuine care, affection for the children and passion for their work.

We have been a part of the Sunrise family for 5 years with all three of our children, now aged 3, 6 and 8, and thrilled with our experience. The staff are caring, professional and fun, and thoughtfully develop customised play and learning paths for each child. We love the combination of forest school and Montessori education, alongside the early years curriculum. Every milestone at the nursery is meticulously recorded in learning journals, plus detailed daily feedback, a weekly newsletter, and more formalised progress reports. We feel so fortunate to have found Sunrise and benefitted from the dedicated and nurturing team, led brilliantly by two members of staff in particular. In addition to the wonderful community and education of Sunrise, the opening hours (full year, 8 am-6 pm) and delicious meals are incredible support to working parents and enable us to continue our careers knowing the kids are happy and well cared for.

My daughter has been at Sunrise since she was a pre-toddler (almost 2 years ago now) and our experience has been nothing but excellent. The staff have all been warm, welcoming and professional since day one and the days are filled with plenty of activities, learning and outside play. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and we are sad she will be leaving it to start reception in September. I would recommend this nursery to anyone with my eyes closed!

Both of our kids go to Sunrise and they couldn't be happier there. It is such a lovely nursery with the most amazing staff who clearly enjoy their work and offer the best care, love and joy to our kids. Their days are full of play and learning and they have so many varied activities that keep them busy and engaged. They always come home with lots of stories to tell about everything they've done and learned. We couldn't have asked for a more nurturing second home for our kids!

Sunrise has been a wonderful place for our children to grow and get ready for school, we'll miss being part of the community.

Such a wonderful nursery. Both my children love Sunrise, and we love it too. The staff are happy and energetic, and the care and developmental support they give the children is exceptional. The children learn so much every day and mine love being able to spend lots of time outside and at the forest school.

We love Sunrise! Our son is there at the moment and our older two used to go there. The staff are amazing, very kind, thoughtful and fun. The manager is extremely organised and professional. The setting doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you’re inside there’s lots of space including an art room, a little library and a garden. I would (and have) recommended it to everyone.

All three of our children have been through Sunrise and they all loved it. Our youngest is still there and comes back each day with paintings and lovely gifts.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Sunrise Nursery.
