Both my daughters have been through Monkey Puzzle. The manager and her team are professional, caring and supportive of all the children. I have always felt at ease leaving my children in their safe hands. Both my girls have loved attending this setting. We particularly love the farm location and the children spend a lot of time out of doors enjoying the fresh air and exploring!

My 1-year-old started at Monkey Puzzle just over a month ago and I’ve been really happy with the nursery - the staff are caring, responsive and communication has been great. Although my son took a bit of time to settle, he’s really enjoying nursery and comes home really happy after each day, babbling away and full of smiles. I love the setting and the effort the staff put into lovely-themed tuff trays and activities for the children each day. I’m only a month in as a first-time mum, but I’d really recommend Monkey Puzzle Astwick from my experience to date.

I couldn’t be happier having chosen Monkey Puzzle Astwick for my son. He has grown in confidence and ability with each day and formed really strong bonds with all the staff he interacts with. So much so, that he is the one rushing us out the door each morning, he is just that excited to go each day. The communication from the nursery team has always been fantastic, and the app makes it so easy to stay up to date with his activities each day. Getting the snapshot report at the end of each day, seeing what he did and seeing him interacting with others has become the highlight of our day and it wouldn’t be possible without the great work at Monkey Puzzle Astwick each and every day.

Brilliant nursery and staff. My daughter has settled very well and has developed so much since starting age 1 a few months ago! The staff are all lovely and share regular updates on what my daughter is up to and how she is progressing. Would highly recommend it!

Absolutely hands down the best choice we made for our daughter. She started at 10 months old and has thrived at Monkey Puzzle. The staff are amazing and really take the time to ensure they meet your child's individual needs. The updates throughout the day, milestones they've met and new experiences are without a doubt the best. They are a family and I couldn't ask for a safer place for our daughter.

The girls make every day exciting and our child has progressed so much, they make learning fun and engaging and we have seen him come on leaps and bounds. He loves to play games and go for their daily walks to see the animals in the field close by and he has just started French and PE lessons as part of pre-school.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Monkey Puzzle Astwick they are so accommodating and passionate about their work.

Our eldest son has been at Monkey Puzzle for a year now and our youngest is just starting there. We’re so happy with the nursery. The setting is perfect and allows for lots of walks and outdoor activities in the fields nearby. The staff and brilliant, has great communication both face-to-face and through the app and are really supportive of things like potty training. There is always a variety of activities each day for the children and we’ve really enjoyed seeing our little boy's confidence and independence grow. We are so pleased we chose Monkey Puzzle Astwick for our son. I went back to work when he was ten months old, and he hadn’t really spent very much time away from me, so I was obviously apprehensive about how he would settle. However, right from his very first settling sessions, he responded so well to the staff, which is a testament to the warmth and positivity that they project. He had a few wobbles during his first few weeks, as expected, but the staff kept us up to date at all times and offered comfort and support as needed. It’s now been two months, and he is so excited every morning when we get his bag ready, and he practically jumps out of our arms when we arrive in the morning. All of the activities are so stimulating for him, and I love seeing the photos posted every day to see what he’s been up to. He eats such a wide variety of nourishing and healthy foods every day, and it’s really made him more adventurous with food at home as well. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Since then our little girl has thrived at every stage and in every room. She started at 13 months and is now almost 4 - and we wouldn’t have changed anything in that time. The amount of time they spend outside is incredible, the staff are amazing and build relationships with each and every child, and the food goes down well too!
When we had our second baby, there was no doubt in our minds that he had to go to Monkey Puzzle Astwick. Why would we go anywhere else?!
(Although being based on a farm, If you want them to come home clean every night, this probably isn’t the nursery for you!)

We have been in two classes and the staff in each have been brilliant including those in the Admin office. Continually met with a smile at drop off and pick up and they always take the time to provide feedback or ask how they have been. The staff update throughout the day on an App which is helpful to monitor how our child is throughout the day for when we pick up, this also includes a daily update with pictures.
We are overall really pleased with the nursery and would highly recommend them.

A lovely nursery set in beautiful farmland. My daughter loves attending monkey puzzle Astwick, she particularly enjoys the forest school and the French classes. The staff are super friendly and supportive. We will miss them all when school starts in September.

I have over 20 years’ experience in childcare, first starting as a nursery nurse, then as a deputy manager and finally as a manager working for two of the largest nursery groups in the UK. I have also worked in the NHS with babies and their mothers who were suffering from severe mental health conditions.
I have always loved working with children, as no two days are the same, and children have a way of making you smile so much. It is a privilege to teach a child something new and watch them grow and develop until they are ready for school.
I love working at Monkey Puzzle Astwick as it's always been a dream of mine to own my own nursery, and I still can’t quite believe it’s finally happened! It’s no longer a job – it’s a passion, and I have absolutely loved putting my heart and soul into making my nursery such a beautiful place (even if I do say so myself). I also love the location on Church Farm; it’s such an amazing environment for the children and my staff team.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my own three boys and my husband, going on family days out or movie nights at home on the sofa. I also enjoy spending time with friends and travelling.
An interesting fact about me…
I used to work as a PA for Charles Worthington (celebrity hairdresser) and also trained in fashion and make-up at the London College of Fashion before realising that my passion was caring for children.
