Situated in the heart of the Edwinstowe community, on the edge of Sherwood Forest is Cherubs Edwinstowe. Cherubs Edwinstowe has been providing high quality early years care and education for children since March 2019. Spread across 2 floors, 3 age-appropriate rooms and with a Baby Garden and large outdoor space for children to enjoy - this nursery really does tick all the boxes. The nursery prides itself on its community links and was shortlisted for Community Nursery of the Year in the Nursery Management Today Awards (2020).

Their approach to early years, inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School has been reflected in the look and feel of the nursery and translated into the broad and ambitious curriculum for children. Children’s learning is planned and tracked using Blossom Educational software - and parents are encouraged to be part of their child’s nursery experience by downloading the parent’s app.

Cherubs Edwinstowe is an all-inclusive early years provider, fees are inclusive of:
1. Biodegradable nappies and wipes - from Kit and Kin
2. Sun Cream
3. Healthy snacks and meals
4. Amazing extra-curricular activities including Forest School, sports coach and baking/cookery sessions

Children and their families are central to everything at Cherubs Nurseries. To support parent partnership, the nursery has its own Family Room. Here parents are encouraged to get together with other families, meet with the nursery team and even work from the nursery. Every morning parents can also get a tea or coffee to go - making those early drop offs a little easier!

My daughter has attended for just over 3 years and she loves attending the nursery and loves the members of staff. My child settled in from day one and I feel that the nursery and staff are above outstanding. I couldn't think of anywhere better for my child than the place she's at now and we absolutely
love the new menus.

Fantastic nursery with outstanding staff. My son has been attending for two years now since he was 1 and we actually opted for him to stay at Cherubs Nursery in Edwinstowe rather than enrol him at the school nursery as he loves the staff, and I feel he gets a better learning experience. The staff really

A fantastic nursery with brilliant staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Our little boy settled in so well and quickly thanks to the caring/nurturing staff. We love the daily communication on the app as well as regular Facebook updates. It really is a huge relief being able to go to work and not worry
about him because we are 100% confident that he's having a fantastic time and is well cared for.

Could not recommend this nursery and staff enough. My daughter is now 30-months and moved to this nursery at about 11-months-old. From walking, talking to potty training, their support has played such a big role in our lives. She adores going and the continuity it brings her is great. Always active
and not afraid to get messy, which is a big hit with her!

I am very happy with how Cherubs Edwinstowe have handled the recent pandemic. They kept us updated regularly and set tasks for the children who were at home to complete. My daughter started back the last week in May and I never doubted that she would receive excellent care. She is very settled and happy
at Cherubs.

Good nursery on many levels just not in nutrition but OK in lots of activities. Staff are very helpful and friendly and pay lots of support and attention towards my child also myself. I love the parent app as I get to catch up on what they have been up to on a day to day basis.

Lovely nursery, always welcomed by professional staff with big smiles. They listen to what you tell them with regards to my granddaughter's requirements. Fantastic nursery with amazing staff who have cultivated a lovely family atmosphere. My daughter loves being here and I feel safe in the knowledge that she is being loved and looked after. All the children are happy, sociable and obviously comfortable when around the staff. From the owner to the manager,
to the nursery nurses to the chef, they are all just as involved, friendly and ready to have a natter if required. I visited 5 nurseries and this one stood out for the quality of its staff and how comfortable my baby was immediately upon entering.


The nursery is currently undergoing a big refurbishment and the fact that the staff can maintain all of the above amid all of the chaos of a renovation is an absolute testament to their abilities. One can easily see that they all love children and treat them with the same care as they would their own. When I collect my child, I am well informed on her day and she is bright, happy and has enjoyed all of the activities she has been engaged in.

Both of my children have been going to this nursery. My son is now at school and my daughter goes here 30 hours per week. They feel happy and safe here and I am content sending them there every day. Whenever I have had concerns, I have felt comfortable outing them and felt that it would be addressed/valued.
They are now updating the nursery and I am looking forward to seeing the results.

Hello, I'm Rebecca - Assistant Head of Nursery at Cherubs Edwinstowe. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2019, having the pleasure of working across multiple nurseries. I hold a Level 3 in Management and a Level 3 in Childcare. I have always been incredibly passionate about the early-year sector and find it incredibly rewarding.


I have been the Assistant Manager for the past 5 years, having worked my way up from an Early Years Educator. Thinking about my favourite activity, it would definitely be a role-play one because there are so many different scenarios and learning opportunities to be had. It also encourages the children to explore their interests and communicate with one another.
