Situated in the heart of the Edwinstowe community, on the edge of Sherwood Forest is Cherubs Edwinstowe. Cherubs Edwinstowe has been providing high quality early years care and education for children since March 2019. Spread across 2 floors, 3 age-appropriate rooms and with a Baby Garden and large outdoor space for children to enjoy - this nursery really does tick all the boxes. The nursery prides itself on its community links and was shortlisted for Community Nursery of the Year in the Nursery Management Today Awards (2020).

Their approach to early years, inspired by Montessori, Hygge, Reggio and Forest School has been reflected in the look and feel of the nursery and translated into the broad and ambitious curriculum for children. Children’s learning is planned and tracked using Blossom Educational software - and parents are encouraged to be part of their child’s nursery experience by downloading the parent’s app.

Cherubs Edwinstowe is an all-inclusive early years provider, fees are inclusive of:
1. Biodegradable nappies and wipes - from Kit and Kin
2. Sun Cream
3. Healthy snacks and meals
4. Amazing extra-curricular activities including Forest School, sports coach and baking/cookery sessions

Children and their families are central to everything at Cherubs Nurseries. To support parent partnership, the nursery has its own Family Room. Here parents are encouraged to get together with other families, meet with the nursery team and even work from the nursery. Every morning parents can also get a tea or coffee to go - making those early drop offs a little easier!

The staff are all caring and attentive, handover is always informative. Our little boy loves coming to nursery, he always comes home with lots of stories from his day. His interests are always taken into account and he has made some lovely relationships with other children and staff. He will be sad
to go to school in September, however, he is very ready thanks to the team here.

Brilliant nursery, can't fault them or the team. Always happy to help in an emergency. My daughter loves the facilities and especially the nursery coordinator. 10/10 recommend.

Since my children have started at Cherubs Day Nursery my children have gained better social skills - interacting with others better, listening skills and talking has improved so well in such a short space of time - I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We went for a visit and was pleasantly surprised by the natural play elements to the nursery. This swayed us to use this nursery. Our little one loves attending and playing outside. Could not have wished for better.

The staff are really friendly and always happy to help. They always take the time to talk about how my child's day has been and give information about what they have been doing. The staff have been brilliant at helping my child settle into nursery and begin to make friends. She loves going to nursery
and always comes home telling me how much fun she has had. I would definitely recommend it.

Very friendly staff. I appreciate how they tell me about my sons day when I pick him up. He is always excited to go. Being outdoorsy, we really appreciate how often he can play outside, which has been every time so far, sometimes more than once. There are many wooden toys, which is similar to what my
son is used to at home, this is what drew us to this nursery when we viewed it, we were very surprised. They make great use of tuff trays and sensory play, which is important to our family for creativity.

Amazing nursery. My younger siblings have been since 6 weeks old and are now aged 7 and 10. A fantastic family atmosphere with dedicated, experienced staff. All the children's needs are met above and beyond. Beautiful nursery and professional staff.

Hello, I'm Rebecca - Assistant Head of Nursery at Cherubs Edwinstowe. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2019, having the pleasure of working across multiple nurseries. I hold a Level 3 in Management and a Level 3 in Childcare. I have always been incredibly passionate about the early-year sector and find it incredibly rewarding.


I have been the Assistant Manager for the past 5 years, having worked my way up from an Early Years Educator. Thinking about my favourite activity, it would definitely be a role-play one because there are so many different scenarios and learning opportunities to be had. It also encourages the children to explore their interests and communicate with one another.
