The nursery has been really willing to accommodate changes to my son's nursery schedule and I feel really confident that he receives good care and support whilst he is with them.
They have been really keen to be involved with his development and he has developed so much since starting there.
They are building a new outdoor space which I know will make my son's time at the nursery even better.
Lovely nursery. It is decorated beautifully, the staff are caring and really take the time to get to know your child. There are many toys, all made from natural materials. There are different activities provided ie painting/messy play. They cater well with my child's dietary requirements, providing generous portions of healthy food. My child feels very at home here.
My son loves attending nursery and both my husband and I can go to work safe in the knowledge that he is being well cared for.
Thank you to all the staff for making my return to work as easy as possible.
Our experience of the nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend to others. Our daughter is very happy at the nursery and is very excited when I drop her off there.
A fantastic experience. A warm, friendly, inviting environment - like home from home. Chestnut's at St Nicholas goes against the 'norm' - it has created a lovely positive environment with it's carefully chosen furniture and toys. Having experienced the 'typical' nursery environment before my children came here, I can honestly say this is the best I have come across. My baby and preschooler are thriving after only 5 weeks!
Since my child has started at Chestnut Boutique Nursery School @ St Nicholas House I can see he has developed more social skills and academic achievements. I'm really happy with what activities they have done up to now in the nursery. Also, the nursery staff are kind and approachable and very supportive. I highly recommend this nursery.
All the staff are so polite and helpful.
I would recommend to anyone!
There are no words I can use to stress how happy I am with the Nursery and Holiday Centre. The provisions in place are second to none. Facilities and upkeep of the premises and outdoor space is remarkable. Everything to aid a child’s learning, independence and wellbeing is readily available. I have never been to a setting with such incredible staff and management. I can not recommend this setting enough.
A huge, beautiful garden too with chickens and Guinea pigs, they spend lots of time outside too which he loves.
We honestly cannot express enough just how great this nursery is... and we would hugely recommend it to others.
Chestnut Nurseries is a beautiful, homely and safe environment where I have seen my son flourish and thrive. He begs me to go in the morning and comes home full of stories to tell and excited to go the next day.
My two sons love going to "Holiday Camp". The activities are thoroughly planned, well thought out, varied and appropriate to their age. The environment is safe and the staff are very friendly and welcoming to both the children and parents. I couldn't recommend the club enough. Every time I drop off the children, I know that they are going to have a good time, and so do they. The hours they are open also suit my work which is rare for a holiday club and they get a delicious home cooked hot meal included from a qualified chef on site. Brilliant.
Absolutely amazing. My son came for holiday camp. He thoroughly enjoyed it. So much on offer. He learnt so much and was kept entertained throughout. He keeps asking when he can go back!

I have been working with children from Early Years to Year 6 key stage for the past 10 years. Previous to this I trained as a Children’s Photographer and also enjoyed teaching classroom workshops in schools. Back in 2009 I then began my first steps into Early Years and completed my Level 2 and Level 3 NVQs in Early Years Children’s Learning and Development and in 2012 Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce 0 to 19 years.
In 2013 I progressed to a Deputy Managers role completing my Leadership and Management training and Setting Safeguarding Lead, working with children up to 11 years in a large out-of-school provision in Norwich. I have always been extremely passionate about working with children of all ages and creating fun, exciting, rich learning and play environments to meet all children’s needs and abilities.
