Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool

Our child attended from the baby room up until preschool age and absolutely loved it. Staff are very supportive, friendly and caring, and we liked how they always encouraged our child’s individual interests. We would definitely recommend Acorn to Oak!

My two boys had a wonderful time at Acorn to Oak, they were always happy to go to the nursery and came home with lovely stories about their day. The staff were absolutely amazing, kind and caring. I felt that my children were safe and happy always. They grew so much confidence during their time at the school.

Acorns to Oak Nursery has been great for our daughter. She started in the babies-2 group and settled really quickly thanks to the team. She’s now in the 2-3s. I really like how much variety of play they have and the amount of time they spend outside. The staff, and 2 members of staff in particular, are really energetic and really care about the children.

Staff members are always happy and greet my child with a smile on their faces. There is always a wide range of activities for them to play with, my daughter loves coming to Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool and they always make her feel welcome. The staff members are wonderful a credit to the wonderful management which are always helpful. Acorn to Oak are an amazing nursery.

The nursery staff at Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool are forever kind, welcoming and helpful - both with children and parents. The office staff have shown exceptional flexibility and understanding in any communications I have had with them. Our children are happy, healthy and curious as a result of their attendance at the nursery - I feel confident that they are safe, well cared for and given the chance to develop in secure and interesting surroundings. The nursery building and its grounds continue to evolve and improve. I came across the nursery by chance and I’m so glad that I did.

We loved having our little one part of Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool. The outdoor space, the range of activities, and the resources provided are outstanding. Over the last year, he has grown in confidence, he has made so many friends, and loved being part of Acorns to Oak. I can not thank enough all the staff for the great care and endless opportunities that they provided for him to learn and explore. What is also very good about Acorn to Oak Nursery is the app which is used to keep parents informed with the different activities from the day, photos of the little ones, and updates on their daily feeds or nappies, etc. I have seen a few nurseries in the area, but I would definitely say that Acorn to Oak is one of the best I have seen. It was a very good choice for our little one and I would definitely recommend it to other families.

My little boy started here over a year ago and he has grown up so much his personality has really grown his speech and communication has increased and I love hearing about his day. The teachers in his area really look after him and he speaks about them even at home. He gets fed tasty and nutritious meals and he seems to eat everything. The ParentZone app is great for update’s especially as a busy working mum seeing what he gets up to is reassuring. I am really pleased that my son goes to this nursery I am really impressed, confident and reassured about his well being and continuous development at this nursery. Keep up the amazing work you are all truly amazing!

I previously had my child at another nursery until I heard about Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool. We are so happy to be part of this wonderful place. Acorn to Oak have amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing our son get excited about going every day. He knows all of the teachers and has built up a wonderful rapport with all of them. Each and every one of them really makes an effort to engage the children and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful. The level of care is outstanding and I could not fault it.

We have both our children at this nursery. We are so happy with Acorn to Oak Nursery and Preschool. The kids rush into the doors and don’t even turn to wave us goodbye and that’s when we know they love it there. The staff are so caring and always take an interest in our kids. We have found the key person for each of our children so caring. We really think we’ve lucked out with this nursery. This is a brilliant nursery. My daughter loves it here and has been there since last October. She loves all the different activities they do and all the outside space. She comes home and teaches us all the skills she has learnt at nursery including showing us her Yoga moves. We are kept up to date with what she is doing each day via the app and this helps us to have conversations with her to find out about her day. They have a great variety of meals and snacks. All the staff are really helpful and friendly and it is a wonderful nursery. Thank you.

Lovely nursery and preschool with caring staff. My son loves attending the setting. And what I find most important is that when we had questions or suggestions staff were open to listening and action was taken swiftly. We needed a flexible setting that took children for half-day sessions, they were happy to provide a flexible day/time arrangement with no minimum sessions required.

Great service, lovely place. My little boy really enjoyed it, he has learned loads also many skills to take forward with him. It gives the children lots of options - along with fun and learning towards their future.

My little boy has thrived from the loving and nurturing environment at Acorn to Oak. The staff are simply wonderful, friendly, and exceptionally encouraging of the children. The children spend time outdoors when they can, which is fantastic for their development.
