This is a very nurturing place for children and really feels like a second home. Staff are professional and well qualified. They are genuinely caring for children and provide all necessary help that a child (and parents) would need. They listen well to parents enquiries or issues and address them in a very satisfactory way, are flexible in their approaches to children and always try to cater to every child’s development need or learning pace. The cost might be a little high but worth the quality of care and also worth the peace of mind and assurance that the child is in a safe environment. My child joined Bright Horizons nursery following a bad experience that he had in a previous nursery. The staff really worked on understanding my child's personality, character and past experience and truly helped my child to overcome such bad experiences from the past! I can see that my child became independent, has amazing friendships with the other children, and learned positive discipline.

Our son loves going to nursery each day; he waits by the door with his backpack most mornings, eager to get going. He initially had difficulty settling and the staff - both carers and administrators - were incredibly supportive and went above and beyond in this transition period, allowing him/us extra settling support to ensure he was comfortable with his new environment before beginning his regular booking pattern. We appreciate the effort made to communicate likes/dislikes/any issues and general day-to-day updates. They've done a particularly good job since re-opening during COVID, sending home photos so we can see what he's up to during the day and giving detailed handover reports. Overall the staff make this a great nursery to attend. They really make an effort to get to know the entire family and we love that even those not in his room are always saying hi and know him by name. We've been very happy so far and would recommend the Surbiton Ewell Road nursery.

After gaining valuable experience as a Nursery Manager at a smaller setting, where she further developed her leadership and management skills, she is thrilled to have returned to Bright Horizons — a place that truly feels like home.
With a strong background in early years education and a particular passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Almudena has taken on SENDCO responsibilities throughout her career.
