Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Stafford is part of an award-winning nursery group and is an Ofsted Good rated nursery (May 2024).

They provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children to discover and learn through play. The team of dedicated staff are selected to ensure all children's daily needs are catered for in a warm and caring environment.

Their ethos and values are reflected in their staff and their practices to develop an exceptional environment for learning so that children will never cease to grow.

The facility has dedicated nursery spaces for different age ranges, including mobile and non-mobile babies. Each room reflects the seven areas of learning as prescribed in the early years foundation stage and is designed to be accessible to every child.

All children participate in weekly sessions of both yoga and Kidslingo. Calm space yoga will introduce the children to stretches, movements, stories, songs, relaxation and sensory play. Kidslingo is dedicated to teaching languages to young children in a fun and interactive way, using songs, dance, Makaton, games and drama to bring the language to life and inspire little learners.

The freshwater tropical aquarium is a key feature for the pre-School and baby rooms which provides a relaxing and calming environment whilst also providing an enhanced learning experience.

An eye health screening service is also provided for all pre-school children by an in-house optometrist.

Highly recommend Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery. The staff are very friendly and professional. I have twin daughters who attend the nursery, and since attending, they have gained so much confidence and so many new skills. They love going to nursery. I'll be forever grateful for the way the staff have looked
after my girls and taught them life skills. Communication with the nursery is excellent, lots of information in their portal about the children's days, what they've been up to and what they're planning to do next, such as focusing on a certain book. There is also a messenger service to keep open lines of communication, which I love. They take safety very seriously, and nothing is too much trouble to ask. They also arrange for a wide variety of activities and do something for the different celebrations throughout the year.

My child has gone there for a year now, and he absolutely loves it there. Staff are amazing with him, and they are all so lovely. He always comes back home happy and never has an issue with going there.

My little girl started attending this nursery in March this year, we viewed other nurseries including ones closer to us and more convenient to get to. This was the only nursery that stood out to us, they took their time showing us around when we went for a visit, they showed us all the safeguarding
procedures they have in place which was comforting. Now she's been attending for just over a month and she is loving it, we are so happy we decided to go with this nursery! The staff are just so lovely and she loves going there, and especially loves their outdoor facilities!

I can't thank the staff at Monkey Puzzle enough, my daughter absolutely loves coming to the nursery and she feels so happy and safe going there. She started in May 2022 and has grown in so many ways this past 12 months, she loves telling me all about her day with such joy on the car journey home. Also,
she learnt how to count to 10 in French at 2.5 and is very confident with her colours and shapes!
The communication with all staff is brilliant, they are very thorough with feedback/progress. They are all so lovely and caring that makes us feel really comfortable with her being there. I also love being able to click on the app and see what she's been up to throughout the day!

My little one has been attending Monkey Puzzle Stafford since January 2020.
In that time I have seen his confidence go from strength to strength, he loves coming home and talking about the science experiments they have tried, showing us yoga and the French words he has learnt.
The staff are all incredible
and super friendly. There is always a listening ear if you have any concerns and they are happy to give you advice to support learning at home too.
Management are also extremely helpful and always take any concerns seriously and responds quickly.
The app is a great way of knowing what's going on with the day and keeps you updated.
After lockdown my little one was so anxious and nervous but with support from Monkey Puzzle he's now so much more confident.
I'm quite sad that our Monkey Puzzle journey will be coming to an end this summer when the little one starts school.
I would strongly recommend Monkey Puzzle to any parents especially those with a quieter child that needs some encouragement

So very happy that we chose Monkey Puzzle Stafford for our daughter. She has settled so well and loves her time at nursery. The staff are fantastic and are really encouraging of little one's independence, whilst also supporting them and helping them learn. Fantastic hot meals and my daughter normally
has seconds as she loves the food.
Excellent learning opportunities for the children, lots of invitations to play with different tables and activities set up daily and outdoor play too.

Monkey Puzzle is a fantastic nursery providing amazing care, nurturing and learning for all the children. My son loves going to nursery and has achieved lots of goals and come on leaps and bounds. He especially enjoys his yoga lesson and french lesson. All the staff are just amazing and give a huge
sense of relief leaving your child in a safe, loving enjoyable place. The app they provide as well is fantastic giving you daily updates of your child's day and what they have eaten and learnt throughout the day. The food supplied is 10/10 for the children with lots of healthy variety. I would highly recommend it.

Cannot recommend the nursery and staff highly enough. They all go above and beyond to help wherever they can. Every staff member knows every child within the nursery. The children are all happy and engaged in whatever activities are available. Parents and grandparents are always welcomed and included
in special events within the nursery. Fantastic place for my granddaughter to spend time learning and playing with her peers.

My children have been attending Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Stafford for 2 and half years and I couldn’t ask for a better nursery. I am always happy with the care the staff deliver and know my children are safe and in good hands. My children always go happily into nursery and the staff always provide
effective communication on collection and pick ups and also over the family app. The staff are always friendly and approachable and management are great too. I feel they have all of the children’s best interests at heart which is so lovely to see! I would recommend Monkey Puzzle Stafford to all of my family and friends.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. Really lovely setting and my daughter loves going there and even asks to go on the weekends.
The staff are friendly and make you feel at ease leaving your child there. The nursery has good values and the children are spoiled there with all the activities and celebrations
such as Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc.
Couldn’t have asked for a better environment for my daughter to be in. Thank you to all the staff there for their love and hard work. Very appreciated.

Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication and patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making everyday a fun environment to go to which was also very important.
The price is good, comes with nappies and food and they help, they understand if have any trouble paying nursery.

My little boy has settled in well, staff are really helpful and want to help as much as they can. Lots of photos throughout the day and are reassured child is ok every week through messages and photos. The owner, manager and all the staff are so approachable and eager to help in any way. Would recommend

My son, who is now 3 and a half years old has been in the care of the team at Monkey Puzzle Stafford since he was 6 months of age. He is there almost 5 full days a week and enjoys every minute of it!


The team are experienced and knowledgeable in the care they provide and the intimate setting is

excellent, being modern and with lots of space for the children to explore.


My son has taken part in yoga and French lessons and the education/learning he receives from the team really shows in his development and the skills he has learnt during his time there.

I’ve been taking both of my youngest daughters to this fabulous establishment for almost 2 years now and there is nothing bad that can be said for it.
Staff are always pleasant and tell you every detail about your child’s day, they’re very attentive and caring. Management is fantastic and always
a delight when needing to contact them.
Children's activities are well planned and fantastically themed. Plenty of toys and a great outside area for all year round.
The nursery are very accommodating to additional needs and highlight ups and downs of the day, with progresses made with developments.
Value for money is excellent. Meals, nappies and wipes all included without additional hidden costs.


I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Being a mother to four young children, I am aware how the first years of a child’s life lay the foundation for their future. Children need to read and write, but they also need to learn through play. A well rounded education helps children make the most out of their physical abilities and develops important social skills.
