Daffodils Day Nursery - Parchmore Road is the newest addition to the Daffodils family which has been established since 1995. The nursery is located beside Thornton Heath station and has large space for children to spend their day engaging in a variety of activities.

The nursery has an experienced childcare team trained to understand the objectives of early years learning, helping children to develop in their own unique way and encouraging a love of learning. Children can thrive in a fun and challenging play environment, supported in thinking independently and with a focus on all key EYFS goals.

Staff look to form strong bonds with parents, aiming to see children becoming confident learners and progress positively towards the challenges of full-time education. Together with a recognised curriculum there is a strong focus on nutrition and healthy eating.

Lovely staff. Lovely environment for children of all ages. My son has excelled since being at Daffodils Day Nursery. Everyone is understanding and helps to meet my needs when it come to my son, they always listen to any concerns I may have and they always provide resources and are always able to help
in anyway they can. I would recommend this nursery if you want your child to excel and thrive tremendously. The facilities are amazing and very child friendly. Daffodils Day Nursery always provides the best learning for children, they have so many different educational toys and equipment for children of all ages. All the staff are very caring. The nursery is very clean and big on hygiene, they encourage the children to wash hands, brush teeth and wash faces after meals.

The nursery is very family orientated. I love how all the staff are referred to as aunties and uncles. The children are well taken care of and are generally loved by all staff. Communication is excellent and I have always felt well informed. My son loves it here!

Every single member of staff is so lovely! They treat my son like their own. The hugs he receives in the mornings from the Aunties just make me know he is in safe hands. He has developed with his talking with their help.

Daughter here 2.5 years before school. Her confidence grew enormously thanks to Daffodils Day Nursery and lovely aunties. Great management and standard of care. Very happy and appreciative for everything. Highly recommend this nursery

I love this nursery all of my three children attended. The aunties are kind, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. My children have learned and developed so much that I can't thank the manager and all the aunties enough. Keep up the fantastic job, aunties. You are all amazing.

My child was sixteen months when she started there. It was a bit of a rocky start as she had never been left with anyone apart from myself or her dad. It didn't take long for her to get comfortable and after few months she happily walked in waving bye. She is excited in the morning when I say that she's
going to the nursery and is always happy at pick up. The staff are all just wonderful and kind.
She's learned a lot there, songs that I've never sung with her, new words etc. I love the artwork that she comes home with and the weekly updates and photos of activities that they've been doing.
Definite would recommend this nursery to anyone looking!

My daughter has been going here since she was 9 months old and we have had such a positive experience with Daffodils the whole time she has been there. It's a place that feels very much like a family and because of this, my daughter has built such fantastic bonds with all of the Aunties. My daughter
has such a fun and confident personality and I know that this is partly down to the love and fun she has every day at nursery. Thank you for keeping my baby safe, happy and loved whilst she was there.

We were very pleased with our boy's time at Daffodils - we were only living in the area for four months but it was more than enough to leave a positive impression and he was sad to be leaving - the best evidence of good childcare!
We were specifically impressed by the ever-friendly staff at the front
entrance and how well organised everything looked inside. We'll be sure to recommend Daffodils to friends and family and wish them all the best for the future.

Amazing nursery, wonderful, friendly and hardworking staff. My son loves it here. He's learnt so much since he joined and comes home nearly every day with something new he's made. He speaks a lot more now and knows all shapes and colours and can nearly count to twenty and he's 3. The staff always take
time to talk to me and inform me of his day and how he's getting on and the food menu is brilliant.

My daughter has attended Daffodils Nursery in Thornton Heath since she was 10 months, she is now almost 17months. She has flourished tremendously. And her key worker has been incredible. At every stage, they have taken good care of my daughter and she has been really happy there. We recently moved house
to a different area. The manager has been so good in giving us time to find a suitable nursery in our new area. Because Daffodils is so good, I have kept my daughter at Daffodils and travel 40 minutes to take her there and 40 minutes back giving us time to find a suitable nursery near where we live now. Sadly my daughter will be moving to a nursery closer to home, I wish there was a Daffodils Closer to where we live now. Thank you to the Manager, my daughter's key worker, and the team at Daffodils. We will miss you.

Daffodils is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending for three months and it is lovely to see her learning and developing (she’s now 14 months old). She settled in very quickly thanks to the kind and friendly ‘aunties’. She is happy and full of smiles at drop off and I know she enjoys spending
time there. I am given monthly learning goals and updates on her behaviour and progress. I feel reassured by the Daffodils COVID regime and I know my daughter is in safe hands. I’m happy that my daughter has many years of happiness and learning to come at Daffodils.

Great nursery. Since day one, the staff were so caring, making me feel at ease when dropping my child. My daughter was always looking forward to going in the mornings, she grew in confidence and she learned lots in preparation for school. The staff were always friendly and very dedicated, always smiling
and informing me about the development of my daughter all the time.

Daffodils (Thornton Heath branch) - great nursery with good space and facilities. Staff and management are very welcoming, friendly, supportive and professional. We like that it has a family feel and that we were constantly involved and kept up to date with our child’s development. French classes were

I can not thank Daffodils nursery enough for the support, love and care they showed me and my son during the COVID pandemic. As a key worker, I was extremely worried about where to put my son whilst I had to work. Also, I was anxious as to how my son would settle in a new environment. The management

My son throughly enjoys attending nursery. He has matured so much and his social development skills have shown how caring and considerate he is to other children. My daughter has been attending for five months. All the staff seem very friendly and aware of the ongoings in the baby room. My son started with Daffodils just after his first birthday and being a first-time mum, the thought of leaving him with anyone made me nervous. The first few weeks I was ready to give up. My son cried so I cried too, however in the ten months that he has been there I cannot thank all the staff at Daffodils
enough. I have definitely seen a huge positive change in my son. He is so outgoing and to see him learning more and more every day I cannot believe he is the same little boy who would scream at the start. The building is always clean so I never have any worries about where he is eating or sleeping.
He is treated like he is their son and he never wants for anything, nothing is too much trouble, the dedication from the staff is second to none. I will always get an update from the baby room how he is doing (no matter good/bad) every day without fail which put my mind at ease.
I cannot thank you enough. Instead of crying he is now running in every day with a huge smile. We are blessed.
