Hannah MateerJob Title Nursery ManagerJoined 2021

I am Hannah Mateer, the manager for Kids Planet Waterfront. I have over 20 years of experience within the Early Years sector 11 years of which as a Nursery Manager. I started as a college student and worked my way up to management. I have completed my Early Years Foundation Degree and my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

As a parent of 3 children myself, I can fully understand the emotions all parents go through leaving their little ones in other people’s care. As a Manager, I am here to fully support parents and staff in settling your little ones into the nursery and ensuring a smooth transition.

I am responsible for everything that happens in the nursery on a day-to-day basis and I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for safeguarding.

I thoroughly enjoy my role and love the variety each day brings, supporting staff and children. I am passionate about the importance of early education and the biggest privilege is being able to watch children thrive in their learning and development. Read less
