Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool is a lovely nursery. My youngest child now attends, following my eldest who left four years ago. It’s been lovely to come back to. They have taught a lot in the five months he has been there and is so happy going in! It’s a great nursery to transition from their preschool room to big school.

The nursery has been an excellent childcare setting for both my children. My daughter loved her time there before she left in 2023 to attend preschool. The staff knew her well and were extremely supportive. My son has now joined the baby room and, once again, the staff have been very welcoming and nurturing. They have really taken the time to get to know him and support him with his developmental needs. As a result, he seems to be happy and thriving. Would highly recommend.

This nursery was the best choice for my 2-year-old daughter. She loves going there. The teachers are well educated and trained, kids do lots of activities and are in the garden a lot. They eat very healthily too. Another of my children started on the 11th of March 2024 and she already is changing so much, sharing toys, and sitting nicely by the table. Honestly cannot recommend them enough!

I love the constant updates through the app and the safeguarding practices they have in place, I would highly recommend!

I am over the moon with this nursery, especially with my son’s key person. I honestly believed this would be like another chain nursery but it has such an independent, small nursery feel. I get daily, sometimes twice-a-day, updates on my child and then I also get a detailed update when I collect him. I would never consider another nursery, they are perfect. My son is always so excited to see his key person and to walk through the front door.

I'm particularly impressed by the food offered and activities undertaken each day.

I would highly recommend Bright Horizons in Leatherhead. My daughter attended part-time from 12 months to starting school in September and my 3-year-old son is still there. The staff are really friendly and my children both speak highly of their 'teachers'. They both settled in quickly and made strong friendships with other children. There are always a wide variety of activities and I think these really helped my daughter prepare for school. There is a lovely outside area which is used regularly. You also get updates on the app with photos of what the children are doing and updates on how well they have eaten/slept etc.

My little one has been at Bright Horizons for over a year and thoroughly enjoys it. Super kind and friendly staff; they're always so welcoming. The food is really varied as are the activities. I get daily updates on the app, plus more detailed reviews of my child's development and behaviour, which is great to see. The staff have also given me brilliant advice when needed, which is really valuable as a first-time parent. Would definitely recommend Bright Horizons in Leatherhead!

It's the best decision we've made as a family to join Bright Horizons Leatherhead, I just can't imagine him being happier anywhere else.

I would highly recommend Bright Horizons Leatherhead. My daughter was going there for 2 years and now my son has started too. The stuff is really supportive and professional!!! The setting is very spacious with a lovely garden area!!!

Bright Horizons Leatherhead have been so accommodating with our daughter and are very flexible. We particularly like their communication throughout the day on the app - we are able to keep up to date on the activities and schedule of the children. Our daughter has thrived at the nursery and has learnt so much. We feel very confident with the care provided and always have a happy child come home.

My daughter attended this nursery from age 11 months until age 5. They are an amazing nursery with a great team of staff. We always got a warm welcome from the receptionist each drop off/collection. The staff really bonded well with our daughter and she always felt at ease going there. The chef made very tasty meals according to our little one too! The staff really helped develop our daughters speech and confidence ready for big school. We will always look fondly back on her time at this nursery. They really helped with our daughter's speech delay and made sure we had the correct referrals in place for additional help for our daughter. We felt she went the extra mile and was happy to liaise with our daughters new school ensuring it would be a smooth transition for our daughter. Our daughter had her first day at big school today and she did great. No tears and had lots of fun. We are sure this was down to everything the nursery did to help get her ready for the transition.

My daughter is very happy here. She started in June and soon adapted to being in nursery than being at home. She has lots of friends here now and she wants us to draw pictures of them on paper. The staff are very communicative and great with the children. I am very happy that we sent her here.

Our son has attended Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool for almost nine months now and we couldn’t be happier with him there. As soon as we looked around we could feel the warm and safe environment that it is and that comes from all the staff not just the staff in his room. We are always given a comprehensive rundown of what he has been up to at the door when we collect, this is followed up by a handwritten daily report from his key worker, who clearly takes the time to get to know each child and their individual needs.

The manager and team are amazing, they make everyone feel welcome and at ease. My child settled in pretty quickly, he really enjoys the food served at the nursery and he’s always looking forward to going there. I feel like the communication with parents is great. Thumbs up for the Bright Horizons Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool.

Overall I am really happy with how my 2-year-old twins have settled into the nursery since joining in September last year. From our very first visit to look around, the team were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They’ve made a real effort to get to know my children and help them settle in. The manager and the team are always very approachable and available to answer any questions. They’ve been particularly helpful during the Covid times when they are having to deal with stressful and unsettling situations which I really appreciate. My only build would be to provide more consistent feedback on child development and interactions (maybe like a Tapestry type app) as well as clearer information on their slips coming home each day. Overall would definitely recommend.

The women there do a wonderful job, especially given the current Covid restrictions - every effort is made to ensure that we get a great debrief at the end of each day on what the children have been up to!

Bright Horizon Leatherhead Day Nursery and Preschool is a lovely nursery and they have been implementing all new regulations regarding Covid-19 since day 1. Both of my children are very happy there and the staff is friendly and skilful. Great settings and lovely playground for the kids.

This nursery has been the most wonderful place for our son over the last year. The staff are kind, caring and incredible people! We go to work knowing he is safe, cared for, learning new things and having the best time!
