Happy Journeys Day Nursery

Couldn’t speak higher about happy journeys day nursery. Each staff member goes above and beyond in every way to achieve the best for my child. They are outstanding from the facilities to the care of the children.

My son started at Happy Journeys Day Nursery at the age of 11 months. It has been a wonderful experience for him and us. The staff are kind, sweet, friendly and nurturing. My son absolutely loves it there and goes in with a big smile on his face every day. Since starting at Happy Journeys, his development has been incredible. The activities they do have helped his speech and motor skills exponentially. The food has also been lovely. The menu is nutritious and varied. Overall, we absolutely love Happy Journeys and cannot recommend them enough!

Very happy with the service and care provided. I feel my son is well looked after and is being nurtured with love. The staff are very friendly and well trained. I’m glad to have chosen Happy Journeys Day as my child’s nursery.

From day one he was a shy guy, when he finished the nursery he became self confident and popular boy. Every day he was telling us what they learned, what activities they do, amazing! He learnt all letters, numbers, how to be nice to others, discipline at nursery and home. If child is not well we were always informed. If accidents happen we were informed! All staff was always helpful, polite and with smiles! We can give a very best review! As our son had great experience at Happy Journeys !

Every single staff member has been so lovely, friendly and welcoming. The nursery itself is extremely clean with an excellent range of stimulating toys. My son is so happy going in every day and jumps straight out of my arms.

My three other children have been to other nurseries and Happy Journeys has been by far the best and I would recommend it highly to anyone.

Our child has thoroughly enjoyed their time at Happy Journeys Day Nursery. They often speak well of all staff, including their key workers who have strived to build a great relationship together. Staff have continually demonstrated care, professionalism, understanding, and desire to better our child's experience at Happy Journeys. Regarding the facilities, resources and equipment, Happy Journeys has always provided a clean, fun and amenable environment. They also offer many activities - particularly outsourced ones - but this is not available during every session, and therefore some children have missed out. Although we do recommend this nursery, I believe it is necessary to mention that there were a couple of instances in which we had to reiterate the importance of keeping our child safe in relation to their allergies. This is an area in which we feel improvement is still required. Nonetheless, we cannot speak more highly of all the staff and their care towards our child.

Excellent nursery with dedicated staff and good facilities. I really like the fact that they have Nursery Cam and keep parents up to date with regular App entries (activity updates, photos, observations, meals, nappy changes and nap times). We are not vegetarians but the menu is vegetarian and fish only which suits us fine as this encourages variety and sustainability. Staff are welcoming and approachable. I would recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Happy Journeys Day Nursery for a year now and can honestly say he is so happy. He loves the nursery and always gets excited when I drop him off. The staff's communication with parents is fantastic the app lets us know everything we need to know about our children. All the staff members are super friendly. It really is the best nursery!

My child has been attending for two years and thoroughly enjoys her time at the nursery. She has settled in well and has built strong relationships with her teachers and fellow pupils. Good environment for her to be in.

My child is incredibly happy here. The staff are lovely and the activities are varied and interesting. My child loves the food. The communication is excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble. The management are very professional to deal with.

I would recommend enforcing the folding buggy policy.

There is a very lovely atmosphere at the nursery. I couldn’t be happier.

Our son started in the toddler room at Happy Journeys nearly 2 months ago and we only have good things to say. We felt instantly at ease when we visited - not only is the physical space beautiful, bright and fun but the staff are warm and professional. We had a difficult time settling him at a previous setting and whilst this might have been partly due to his age at the time, we have genuinely never seen him so happy or excited as he is now. He jumps out of bed and asks to go there, and when he comes home it is clear he's had the best time. Even on the few days of difficult drop-offs, the staff were patient and understanding and it quickly passed. We get detailed updates about his day and his development which are lovely to read. Thank you to everyone at HJ and keep up the good work!

I was very nervous sending my child to a nursery that I haven't entered (due to Covid). However, several months down the line I am happy that my son is having such a wonderful time here. He has made a group of friends and has a very close bond with his key worker. He is encouraged to partake in activities he would sometimes miss which has helped him develop his skills. He spends a lot of time outside playing games which he loves. He is happy coming to nursery and misses people when they don't come. We get a good amount of verbal feedback daily and regular observations. We have seen weekly photos of activities that were so beautifully set up to be engaging and supportive of the children's development. I do get a bit nervous about allergies, my son struggles a lot with this, but the nursery has been communicating with me to make sure his food is safe.

I couldn't be happier with this nursery! As a new parent and being a very apprehensive person, I was extremely worried to leave my son to someone I don't know. I called several nurseries to get information, but as soon as I called Happy Journeys and the staff member picked up the phone she gave me peace of mind and made me feel that it was the right nursery for us. My son settled immediately! I was supposed to be with him for one hour, but as soon as we entered the garden he totally forgot me and so I left after 20/30 minutes. He is always so happy to go to the nursery and when he sees I'm putting nappies in his bag he starts to smile and run to the door so impatient to go out. The staff are just so lovely! My son grew up so much in the last 5 months and learnt so many new things...and this is just thanks to them! I couldn't recommend it more!

I highly recommend the nursery and have done so with friends that have asked me. My son went to the nursery when they first opened. Even though some members of staff have changed in time the values of the nursery still remain the same. This is an amazing nursery, we had a difficult journey with settling but they were always there to support and help us go through the difficulties. They are all great the management team and the staff that takes care of the kids. All of them. I am highly satisfied and feel actually sad and nervous that this is our last year with them because my son is going in reception in September. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, their hard work deserves it.
