Happy Journeys Day Nursery is a new nursery located in Hendon, in the Barnet area of London, providing high-quality day care and early years education for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Child-led learning is practiced by experienced early years practitioners in a safe and secure environment.

The setting practices the principles of the EYFS but also utilises the best of the Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods.

Young children are taught to learn through exploration of their environment and through creative play.

Happy Journeys is a fantastic nursery. As soon as you walk through the door every morning, you are greeted in a warm and welcoming environment. I have been delighted with the care and learning environment that has been provided to my son since he joined a year and a half ago, and there are stimulating
and imaginative activities provided every day by lovely and attentive staff. My son walks into the nursery every day with a smile on his face, and my youngest son will be joining him soon. I highly recommend the nursery to anyone that I speak to!

Our eldest has just graduated from Happy Journeys and we are so grateful for the exceptional care, love and education everyone in the nursery has provided to her. The journey from her first day to her last has been nothing short of remarkable. The team's dedication and commitment to creating a nurturing
and stimulating environment have had a profound impact on her growth and development.
We truly appreciate the countless hours spent planning and implementing creative lessons, engaging activities and play-based learning opportunities. Every single person at the nursery is so genuine - their passion for teaching and genuine love for the children shines through everything they do.


We are so happy with the care they provide that it was no question we signed up our youngest when I had to return to work after maternity leave. The setting is welcoming, clean, tidy, and up to high standards.

We have been delighted with Happy Journeys Day Nursery which both our children have attended for the last 4 years. The setting is lovely and bright with good-sized rooms, each with its own outdoor space for the children. Staff are friendly, approachable and clearly develop strong bonds with the children
in their care. Management is very personable, accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The nursery organises lots of stimulating, daily activities for the children and offers an impressive extra-curricular offering (music, Spanish and sports classes). We're so pleased to have found this gem of a nursery, thank you Happy Journeys for all your hard work!

Happy Journeys is simply wonderful. Our baby started there in May and she loves it. It's always tough handing your child over to somebody else but the staff at the nursery are all so friendly and kind; I know my baby is in good hands. The building itself is modern and clean too.

My 18-month daughter has been attending the nursery for the last 8 months.
The care provided is excellent and I feel my daughter is loved and safe under their care. The nursery also has learning activities every day and I have seen her grow in confidence, knowledge and social skills.
The food is
nutritious and varied. Don’t think we can replicate the food variety at home. The facilities are modern and always clean and well maintained.
I will recommend this nursery to everyone.

Our son has been at Happy Journeys for just over a year now and has progressed through three rooms with age. There’s no doubt that his development and learning is as good as it is down to the care, attention and creativity of the staff here. Whenever we’ve had any problems (eg nappy rash) the team have
been responsive and helpful. We are grateful to receive regular detailed updates on his days which we love reading and his genuine bonds with his carers is very sweet. Management are highly responsive, friendly and helpful. All in all a great nursery experience for first time parents

Amazing nursery!
My eldest child has been going since he was 1 and a half years old and he loves it! His little brother has recently joined, too. And my third child will be soon.
He’s now in preschool class where he has been learning so much as they always have different activities every day (including
external ones such as Spanish, sports and music/dance).
I was so impressed with him already knowing so many letters of the alphabet and what they stand for. And with the maths/counting skills.
I love the approach of the staff.
All very friendly, caring, empathetic and knowledgeable.
They always have valuable and constructive feedback to give you when you go to pick up your child.
The food they provide is yummy and healthy and my son always asks for more.
They have an app through which they keep you updated regarding activities done during the day, food eaten, nappy change, and sleep for the little ones.
And you also have access to cameras to check out how you child is doing.

So happy with this nursery, they are really focusing on my son to help him with his progression even when he’s in a busy class. Everyone in the nursery knows him and cares for him. It’s such a special place, the food is delicious and they even cater for different religions. From a very happy parent

My husband and I couldn’t thank Happy Journey’s enough for what they have done to help our son since he joined the nursery a year ago.
Each and every staff member takes our child’s needs, strengths and weaknesses into consideration and have done all they can to help him feel most comfortable and settled
at the nursery.
We feel reassured by regular updates on both the nursery app and personal contact. We couldn’t think of a better nursery for our son to be at - thank you for helping him have the best start!

My son started at Happy Journeys Day Nursery at the age of 11 months. It has been a wonderful experience for him and us. The staff are kind, sweet, friendly and nurturing. My son absolutely loves it there and goes in with a big smile on his face every day. Since starting at Happy Journeys, his development
has been incredible. The activities they do have helped his speech and motor skills exponentially. The food has also been lovely. The menu is nutritious and varied. Overall, we absolutely love Happy Journeys and cannot recommend them enough!
