Happy Journeys Day Nursery is a new nursery located in Hendon, in the Barnet area of London, providing high-quality day care and early years education for children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Child-led learning is practiced by experienced early years practitioners in a safe and secure environment.

The setting practices the principles of the EYFS but also utilises the best of the Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods.

Young children are taught to learn through exploration of their environment and through creative play.

Couldn’t be happier, a positive education and they develop each child’s potential. They do so many creative activities every single day and you get pictures and comments through the day. I don't think my child could be in a better place, she spent from six months till two years old and moved here from
two years old to now two and a half years old, the best decision we made. Drop off and pick up are easy, fast and always kind feedback of how the day went. They are all very attentive to the parents’ thoughts.

Wonderful warm friendly yet professional environment. Child-led learning which is exactly what we had wanted. Outside inside play area to allow child to explore freely. Amazing apps to keep the parents informed and up to date on child development. Very flexible with providing kosher food. Car park on-site
for easy and safe drop-offs. My only hope is that they can continue to provide this excellent level of service as the years go by and the newness fades! - Similar to what has unfortunately happened to other nurseries.

I am really happy I decided to send my 2-year-old to this nursery. I think it is the best one in Hendon.
During lockdown, they still undertook settling in sessions (I had to stay outside in the garden, which was fine) - and I really appreciated them accommodating their nursery to make it as clean and
safe as possible but still managing to get settling sessions for new children. Another nursery told me that there would be no settling in sessions and that I would have to leave my child at the front door (which was preposterous!).
I really like the staff and they all seem very knowledgeable and approachable. They keep you updated during the day with what the child is doing, eating etc as they have a great system in place to send you updates. They have a little car park which is so handy for drop off and pickups.
My child loves going to this nursery and settled in well.

Lovely nursery with excellent staff. Children are cared for in the best possible manner. Thank you for all you do. I would definitely recommend Happy Journeys to friends and family. It took us a long time to find the perfect place and we finally found it. We are very happy with Happy Journeys.

Our son started Happy Journeys Nursery in September. We moved him from a different nursery and was worried that he would take time to settle. However, I was worrying for no reason. He settled in instantly!
The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The vibe itself was and is so positive and
he was straight away drawn to everyone there.
He’s constantly learning new things and copies it at home. The food is nutritious which is great! He loves being there and looks forward to going to Happy Journeys.
We get updates about his day regularly and get to see what he’s been doing there. The staff are lovely and supportive.
I’ve enrolled our younger son as well to start later this year. I’m very excited to see his journey there.

My daughter started at the nursery in September and settled in really quickly to the extent where she jumps to the arms of her key worker when we go to drop her off. The staff are all really friendly and have played a key role in her development. The food is also very nutritious and they provide a
wide range of dishes which exposed her to different flavours and helped build a diverse palate.

Our son is so happy attending Happy Journeys. We had some settling in issues at the beginning but the management team were so supportive and responsive to our needs and worked alongside us to help resolve those settling in nerves our son was having. This really made it feel like a safe, welcoming and
supportive environment for him to be in and he has thrived so much since being here. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and just wish that every nursery setting was of such a high standard as Happy Journeys.

I have trusted this nursery to enrol my 6 months old son and I am so glad I did it! The facilities are brand new, carpet free and modern (e.g. underfloor heating). The pictures on the website are real! The staff of the baby room is exceptional, made of professional carers who always very kind and patient.
The range of daily activities is amazing and it provides so many stimuli even for such a young age. In addition, I am continuously updated through a portal with pictures and a description of what my baby is doing, plus the webcam! It has now been 4 months and I am definitely recommending Happy Journeys!

Amazing nursery! Looks great! Clean, nice staff and the best facilities. Its also really easy to come in and get out, so congestion is not a problem. My son has learnt and developed so much at his time at Happy Journeys. No doubt my newborn son will be joining too

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with this nursery. The team have been fantastic, from making sure he is having fun, but also making sure our son's allergy is managed properly. The menu sounds delicious and the activities are a delight to see. Highly recommend to everyone!

It is based in a newly decorated building. My son seems to be enjoying himself. Staff are caring and they communicate fine. It is also nice to be able to check on him discreetly throughout the day through the app.

My daughter has blossomed at this nursery. She is so very happy here and has settled incredibly well thanks to the teachers and the environment. Each day she comes home having learned something new and loves sharing this with us. Each morning she looks forward to the nursery and spending time with her
friends and teachers. One evening, my daughter started a conversation with me in Spanish.! (Learnt from Happy Journeys).


The teachers are great, food is wonderfully healthy.


I couldn’t recommend Happy Journeys more.

My son started a month ago and it seems he is enjoying his time at the nursery. The nursery is also clean and their staff and friendly and cooperative. The food is also nutritious and changes on weekly basis.

I am very pleased with Happy Journeys Day Nursery. My son has improved socially and academically already. He can recognise letters and numbers in such a short space of time. All the staffs are so kind and caring. Highly recommend.

The staff have looked after my son as if he was their own child, he is always very keen to attend from the minute he wakes this is a clear sign he is safe and happy at this nursery. I am very happy with his progress so far.

I am very happy with the nursery considering I didn’t have a good experience with the previous one. My twin girls have joined since it has been open (in September 2019). They settled very well and have been enjoying going there. staff and managment are very caring and helpful, plus there is a good selection
of healthy food for the kids.

Happy Journeys Day Nursery is the nursery I was looking for my child. He joined the nursery when he was 1-year-old and had the best carers in the baby room, the ladies there are meant to work with kids.
I think there are lots of things that can make the difference between Happy Journeys and other nurseries
I looked at; the food they provide to the kids (even my baby is not a big fan of food), the outdoor areas, the cleanliness, that amazing learning environment.

Happy Journeys provides excellent care for my daughter. Staff are kind, considerate and brilliant at communicating with parents through the app. It took a while for my child to settle into nursery, but the baby room staff were so patient and helped her and me through the process. The facilities are
outstanding, and the gourmet menus are very hard to compete with! I love the fact that each classroom has its own garden. My daughter always seems very happy at the end of the day and exhausted from all the amazing activities that she has been busy with!
