Our son is starting soon and we are sure he will have as much fun as our daughter has.
The staff are great and we love the forestry element.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.
My daughter absolutely loves this nursery. She has been going since she was 13 months and is now nearly 2. She cannot wait to go and runs in every morning with a smile! The staff are friendly and accomodating and are always there to help. We get regular photos and updates each day and meaningful updates on progress and development. I would highly recommend to anyone!
Our son has attended for almost a year, and we are so happy with our choice of nursery. All of the staff are warm and caring, the communication is very good and our son really loves attending. The staff have supported him to grow in confidence and his development has been brilliant. He enjoys a wide range of activities including forest school and he has a lovely bond with the staff.
Nothing but great things to say here! My daughter absolutely loves the food, the staff, and the fact that she is out in nature so much of the time! (When and if weather permits). The staff are very kind, friendly and supportive, cater to whatever request if within their means, and always provide timely feedback and photos!
My son has Down Syndrome and is still non talking. I am teaching him to communicate using Makaton. The staff fully embraced this, especially Kim, who has been a true advocate - she has learnt Makaton and attended many courses to ensure he can communicate with them and feel comfortable and happy at Nursery. Kim gives detailed communication, both verbal and written about my son's progress and targets. Wow moments and photos are regularly added on the app.
All the staff are caring, warm and truly dedicated to the children. They have helped with his development and confidence in so many ways.
He loves being at Nursery and always signs friends and fun before we go and is full of smiles at the end of the day.
I am extremely happy that I chose The Butterfly Patch.
My son has been attending the butterfly patch for over a year now and it has had a significant effect on him, he enjoys the daily activities the nursery provides and loves all of the staff members. He always comes home raving about his day. He joined with a speech delay but the staff have been nothing but patient and helped him improve his speech tremendously. Kim has been a star in helping to assist him with his communication skills, she has taken the time to teach my son sign language which he has used confidently to communicate whenever he struggles to verbally. Kim communication with me as a parent is excellent no matter if it is negative or positive she takes the time to explain what has happened and even gives tips on how to help my son excel even more. All the staff members are positive and helpful Farah has also been a star when it comes to helping with the progression of my son and provides a detailed breakdown of where he is doing positively and where he needs improvement.
We absolutely love The Butterfly Patch in Morden. Our son has been going since he was just 1 year old. The staff are warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the children, and the environment is always welcoming, and full of fun activities. We've seen our son grow in confidence, learn new skills, and build wonderful relationships with all the staff. We couldn't be happier with the care he receives. We highly recommend it!
My child has been at Butterfly Parch in Morden for over 18 months and his experience and time there brings us all lots of joy. He is happy, developing well, supported by staff and given consistent care and attention. The team there are very engaged with him and responsive to him and they make huge amounts of effort with outings and activities for parents and children.
My little boy attends The Butterfly Patch in Morden and loves it. He has really flourished there and has such fun on the trips out to the forest. We get regular updates from the nursery on how he is doing throughout the day. The staff are all great and really friendly.
Excellent nursery with kind and caring staff. Our children are incredibly happy at the nursery and the staff have excellent communication with parents. The manager is fantastic and is really responsive to any queries.
Our son has been at the Butterfly Patch for 18 months and is so settled and absolutely loves it. The staff are all fantastic - he knows all of them by name which has made transitions to older rooms easy, and they are genuinely caring and nurturing. We always feel listened to as parents and receive regular updates on his progress. The staff provide detailed summaries of each day which helps us understand what he's been up to and means we can chat about the activities he did and who he was with. Our son loves the forest school sessions which are creative and have greatly helped him develop physical skills - from toasting marshmallows to wading in rivers, he does activities we would never do at home. You will do lots more washing as a result! The nursery often arranges events for parents to get to know staff and other parents. We are so glad we chose this nursery.
When they are at home they really enjoy playing outside and exploring new things.
The teachers are so kind and really care so much about the children they look after. We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery.
The only slight downside is the communication to parents from the nursery manager returning from maternity leave hasn’t been as good as the person covering while she was off.
We are very happy that we chose the Butterfly Patch, our son has been going for three years. He has developed strong relationships with his key workers and the forest teachers. He loves all the activities they do out in the park, from climbing trees, sliding down mudslides, exploring the little stream and puddles or finding mushrooms and identifying trees. He not only learned to do all of that safely but also strengthened his independence getting ready by himself and even helping the younger children. We are always updated about their adventures through the app and at pick-up. The staff are lovely and caring, they all know the children well and truly care about them. We would recommend it to any outdoorsy family.
Amazing staff and nursery. Our son is really settled after just a few months. They take the kids out each day - including the babies - and do things we wouldn’t normally do helping them to develop and be creative. Friendly and attentive staff and excellent communication
Our daughter has been at the Butterfly Patch in Morden for 1.5 years now and she loves it. The staff are friendly and well trained. The forest school aspect of the nursery is why we chose it in the first place. The forest school staff encourage children to explore and interact with the world around them. This has developed her social and inquisitive nature. The regular updates on the app throughout the day allow parents to rest assured that their little one is safe and well. We are really pleased we chose the Butterfly Patch, Morden.
My daughter absolutely thrives at the Butterfly Patch. She's grown into a very curious, adventurous, social little girl with a great vocabulary and amazing motor skills with their help and care. The staff are fantastic and especially the forest school teachers, whose passion for outdoor learning is phenomenal - the children get to play outdoors and learn about nature, while climbing, digging, discovering wildlife, carrying/transporting, painting and sculpting, splashing in rivers, climbing trees, building dens, along with dozens of other activities - we're very lucky to have the benefit of their skills and knowledge.
Our son has been going to the Butterfly Patch since he was 6 months old. The staff have been amazing and he settled quickly and nicely. The constantly active lifestyle, need to go outside and curiosity to explore are contributing to turning him into a gentle, nature-loving boy who has amazing climbing skills! The carers do an amazing job of integrating aspects of learning in child-led play and our boy is thriving and making so much progress on fine and gross motor skills, language and social skills. The extended hours are a big plus as we're both working parents and we've been able to take advantage of some amazing offers to add in extra days when needed. Management runs smoothly. We feel able to speak about our child's needs (dropping dummy, increasing naps, etc) and the staff will go above and beyond to help out. We highly recommend the nursery to anyone who listens!
My little one joined the nursery in Spring 2021, as a 1-year-old pandemic baby. Settling in took some adjustment, but the staff were so caring not only to him but to us as parents too. Constant regular contact, and clear happiness to listen to any concerns or questions we had, as well as make changes to help our son adjust, meant that we felt really comfortable during this disruptive period. He quickly became used to nursery life and it was clear that the affection between him and the staff members went both ways, with him obviously feeling very safe in their presence. This was especially useful as forest school introduces children to such new experiences, which take some getting used to. The team expose the children to fantastic adventures, making use of the streams, trees, woodland, wildlife, and other aspects of nature all available to them in the park. Now a proper toddler, our little boy has flourished in walking, talking, and exploring, all thanks to The Butterfly Patch.
