Kids Planet Haywards Heath

My son has been attending Perfect Start Nursery in Haywards Heath since August 2019 and he's now 2.5 years old and attends the toddler room. I've always felt confident that the practitioners are keeping him safe and entertained with a wide range of activities on offer and with children he's grown close bonds with there. The toddler room has direct access to half of the garden which has lots of different climbing and play activities for the children to explore and my son absolutely loves being out there. It's really nice to hear about his day from his key worker and we get updated on his progress regularly on the ParentZone app or over the phone. The weekly menu is varied and nutritional (and looks delicious!) so you can be confident that the children are being fed well! In summary, I would highly recommend this nursery, the staff really seem to know and care for all the children and my son really enjoys his time there.

My 15 month old son attends the nursery and has done so since summer 2020. The staff, facilities and management are superb. My son absolutely loves the nursery and is excited to go every single day. His development since he started attending has been noticeable! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a suitable nursery.

I am a qualified nursery worker so I wanted to find the correct nursery for my boy and Perfect Start has been.

They treat children as individuals and help them develop in their own time.

My son, now 18 months old, is so happy to attend and loves his nursery days! Every one of his needs plus more is met and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of nursery.

My daughter has been attending the setting since October 2019 after moving to the area from London. The staff have really helped her settle in and been a constant reassurance. I have found the staff excellent, attentive and supportive. The setting is very friendly and welcoming and my daughter adores her key worker. I have highly recommended the nursery to friends of mine in the area.

Our new arrival this year has already booked in a place for 2021.

Our son loves going to this nursery. The nurses all take a keen interest in the development of our little boy. There are activities galore each day, structured and unstructured. The ratio is 2/3 children per nurse. Class sizes encourage individual development. We receive daily reports of how our boy has progressed and there is also an online portal with photographs and reports below.

It is useful that the hours are slightly longer than some settings, as it means that morning drop off is more staggered and not so chaotic, plus removes the panic of sitting on a delayed train if you know you have an extra 15 minutes or so in hand for pickup! I'll have no hesitation in sending my younger child here when the time comes.

This is a fantastic nursery.

My daughter is always excited to go to nursery. Even more so now they do sing and sign which she has done since she was three months. The nursery itself is lovely, modern and clean with a great selection of wooden toys and books. The staff are very friendly and engaging. They clearly care about all the children there and are invested in their growth and development. They regularly update the app with observations and pictures. We're very happy leaving our daughter in their care and look forward to seeing her continue to flourish as she progresses through each class.

The food their chef makes on-site is nutritious and varied and communication with parents is excellent. Highly recommended!

Our daughter seemed very happy at her last nursery. But due to relocation, it was necessary to move her. Perfect Start has been exceptional in her transition, our daughter seems to love it here even more. No tears on drop off... EVER! Development is coming along nicely, the place is clean, modern and staff are very engaging. Their communication and genuine care can't be faulted. They also have an open garden policy which the kids seem to love. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who was looking. Genuine comment and no incentives, haha!!

Our children both started nursery shortly after we moved down to Haywards Heath area. The environment of the nursery is wonderful with a lovely outside space. The staff are very caring and both the children settled in very quickly and are very happy at Perfect Start. It was a relief to find somewhere where they are so well looked after.

This is the first time I have experienced taking my child to nursery and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The whole staff make you feel so valued and special and they always remember your names and tell you stories of what your little one has been up to. The venue is always clean and tidy and my daughter has always been extremely happy. Definitely would recommend.

Overall we couldn't be happier. Our son loves it and we highly recommend Perfect Start.

The “barn” location for this nursery is excellent. Not only is it ideal for our location (being based in the village) but the facilities are excellent. The outdoor area is fresh and open. There are numerous rooms for different ages all in the large and bright building. The food is prepared on site and the staff are very friendly and keen to engage with us at all times. Unlike some nurseries, we pick our child up from his playroom where we discuss his day with the staff. We constantly see his environment and have seen our suggestions being put into practice. Our child also took to the nursery very quickly which gave us the confidence that they were happy and relaxed with the staff and other children.

Our son started here a few weeks ago and we have been so happy with how well he is getting on. Firstly, the barn is beautiful and the rooms are so well equipped with so much for little ones to do. My son is loving playing with all the toys but is also developing and learning too. There's a library room, they have phonetic classes and also a digital telescope which is then displayed on the big screen. The garden has a storybook corner which is magical and what my son is most happy about - a figure of 8 race track to ride their trikes around! The menu is varied and freshly cooked. Everything is provided including nappies and sun lotion so easy to get ready in the mornings. The staff are the icing on the cake - they are all so lovely and take the time to talk to you about your child's day and what they have been doing, taking photos throughout the day. Communication is so good and such a relief to leave my son in good hands with people who care about him and how he grows and develops.

My 3-year-old has recently started with Perfect Start Day Nurseries, and it is the best decision we have made, after moving her from a previous placement and taking her out from another. I simply couldn’t be happier!

The management and staff are so friendly and caring, and I honestly feel she is receiving outstanding care, I am so comfortable leaving my little one and she has already commented saying ‘I love my new Pre-school’.

The setting is just beautiful with a wonderful garden, great classrooms with everything you could imagine, and great lesson planning.

I highly recommended them.

The staff at Perfect Start have made me feel at ease from the very beginning. They create such a lovely environment to be in with their warm and friendly approach. I always leave with great assurance that my son will be well looked after for the day. The nursery is full of beautiful equipment throughout and is always clean. It has been amazing to watch my little one settle in so quickly and always be happy at the end of every session. I have no reservations about leaving my son in the care of this nursery, I feel extremely confident he is in the best hands. Thank you so much to all of the team!
