The Old Station Nursery Mottershead Drive, Innsworth

My sons been attending the nursery for 2 years now, starting in the baby room and now in ore-school & I can honestly say we couldn't be happier. The nursery is such a welcoming, friendly & FUN place. They're always doing multiple activities everyday from learning to pure fun! My son loves it & every transition has been a breeze because of the amazing staff. The food is always so adventurous, nutritious & organic. Amazing. Thank you!! :)

We have been really pleased with our experience at Mottershead Drive, Old Station Nursery. The staff have been fantastic, taking the time to get to know our daughter, and we can see that they genuinely care for and listen to her. This has really helped her settle in and enjoy her time at nursery.

One small area for improvement would be cleanliness, particularly regarding outdoor shoes being worn inside the children's area.

The staff are exceptional, passionate and genuinely care about the children. Our youngest has recently started the baby room. This is always a hard transition for any parent (and baby), but the staff support you and listen to your needs. Our son settled in so fast, he eats, sleeps and plays well, a very happy baby. A big thanks to a particular member of staff who has massively stood out to help our sons transition in the baby room, a very strong member of staff who has been consistently approachable, and has formed such a lovely bond with our son and he's only been there for a few months. Another member of staff has been an excellent addition to the 2-4 room, she forms great relationships with the kids and her passion shines through. The manager makes the nursery great, a real asset to the OSN

Since my little girl has started nursery we have had nothing but amazing things to say. Everyone is so lovely and really takes time to listen and answer any questions we may have had. She seems to be settling so much each time she comes in. Everyone in the baby room has been so welcoming and has really made me feel at ease. I want to give special thanks to one staff member in particular in the baby room who every time we drop off or pick our daughter up she's always there giving such a great handover and is so bubbly and friendly. Our daughter seems really settled with her and will now go to her when I drop her off in the morning. I'm so glad this staff member is in the baby room and has made me feel so relaxed about dropping her off. I will be recommending this nursery to everyone.

We have had a great experience with The Old Station Nursery from the beginning. Our daughter always comes home with a smile on her face and is making faster progress than from her previous setting. All of the staff are lovely and always make the time and effort to discuss and implement any necessary adjustments. Hand-overs are great too, with plenty of detail that feels personal to our child. We especially like the app which tells us all about her day. The food they provide is home made on site and always sounds delicious and nutritious. Our daughter particularly likes the easy access to the outdoors. We would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

We had 2 boys at The Old Station Nursery with the older one finishing recently as he is due to start school. The older child has autism and The Old Station Nursery staff were very caring and accomodating to his needs. In particular his key worker. Our youngest still attends the nursery and is getting on very well and is making great progress learning the skills a 2-year-old typically struggles with (the importance of sharing etc). Thank you for your work everyone.

Glad we chose this nursery!

Fantastic all around. We had previously had our son at another nursery and he just wouldn't settle, it was suggested we try another nursery. Mottershead are so welcoming and our son has fitted right in, he loves going to nursery now. He's probably a little sad when he leaves at the end of the day. We feel like we are getting really personalised service and all the staff are wonderful.

A brilliant nursery setting. All the staff are lovely and approachable. My son is really happy there and my daughter, who is now at school, talks about her time at nursery with such fondness. Great memories made.

I can not recommend The Old Station Nursery Mottershead Drive enough! This nursery is amazing thanks to the fantastic nursery manager and all the staff. If you’re looking for your child to have a home away from home, this is the nursery for you! My little girl absolutely loves going to nursery and she loves all the staff. She is currently in the baby room filled with caring, kind, hard-working staff who make every effort to ensure she thrives in her development as well as being there whenever she needs. Mottershead Drive is like a second family, the staff will make every effort to get to know you, your child and your life. They use all knowledge to ensure your child feels safe, valued and heard. My little girl never leaves nursery without giving the staff members a cuddle goodbye and I know she gets that emotional support throughout the whole day. My daughter’s key worker is the most amazing person. She shares the sweetest bond with my daughter, I love hearing about her day and seeing weekly photos.

The Old Station Nursery Mottershead Drive is a beautiful, warm and welcoming nursery. My daughter has been at the nursery for nearly a year now and I’m so happy with how she has settled and progressed and that’s thanks to the fantastic team.

I would really recommend The Old Station Nursery Mottershead Drive to anyone looking for a nursery. The staff are all so friendly and really care about the children. I love that they go outside most days and do loads of different activities with lots of photographs for me to look at!

My child loves attending nursery and even though they are full-time, they have new experiences every session. They are always engaging and offer a wide variety of activities, both playful and learning. All the staff are fantastic! They all know each child and their families and always keep families up-to-date with the day's events. A great nursery!

Overall, what a fantastic nursery. It's the best nursery out of four that I have put my children in over the years. I fully recommend it 100%.

What a credit the Manager and the team to her and the company! When I collect my son I am given an update on all the things he has been doing and the progress he has made. They accommodate his SEND needs with no issues. The best indicator that my son likes going to nursery is how happy he is to go to nursery. The Manager is a treasure! She went out of her way to accommodate us viewing the nursery and spent time explaining how the nursery works and answering our questions. If we have any questions or issues they are actioned and resolved quickly. It is always a pleasure to meet the staff at drop-off and pick-up times!

After an awful experience at another setting, we moved our son to The Old Station Nursery just over a year ago and it was the best decision ever! Management is excellent and the staff in both the baby/toddler room have been fantastic and really helped our little one to thrive. They really go out of their way to build relationships with the children so they feel comfortable and at ease. Every morning we are greeted with a warm welcome and a detailed handover at pick-up. They have a great outdoor space and lots of daily activities to keep children entertained with weekly photos sent via the app so we can see what he’s been up to. Lovely fresh homemade meals are served every day as well as healthy nutritious snacks. We genuinely have not had one issue or complaint. In the 14 months we have been there, and most importantly our son is always excited to go to nursery and happy when we collect him. Best nursery in Gloucester!

As usual, since we joined the nursery, I’m happy for the choice that we have made. My son is getting better from different points of view and many of the achievements are reached at the nursery. So thanks to the staff!
